Did Rihanna Tell Friends She Would Marry Chris Brown? It hasn’t even been a whole month yet since lovesick loverboy Chris Brown announced to the world that he was kicking his little Karrueche kitty to the curb so he could chop down Rih-Rih drama free, and already the rumor mill is buzzing with talk of wedding plans. via Star Magazine: Rihanna has apparently been talking about making her relationship official with Chris Brown and marrying him. According to reports, the ‘Diamionds’ songstress has told her friends that she wants to elope with the 23-year-old singer now he is a single man. A source close to the singer told Star magazine: “No one close to them would be a bit shocked if they suddenly eloped. Rihanna has told her close friends point blank – I would marry Chris.” The informed insider also revealed that the Roc Nation songstress would have stood by the ‘Celebration’ singer after he assaulted in 2009 if the scrutiny from the media hadn’t reached fever pitch. “She even says she would have never left him if the media scrutiny didn’t get so bad. They’re passionate, and when they’re drunk, they’ve both made many comments about getting married.” We actually don’t think this is that far-fetched, given the drastic measures that these two have gone to to be together. The day before his sentencing, former Penn State football coach and convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky has released a statement from jail. In it, Sandusky alleges that an enormous conspiracy has been working against him, starting with “a young man who was dramatic, a veteran accuser [who] always sought attention.” Jerry Sandusky Jailhouse Rcording Sandusky goes on to say this man was “was joined by a well-orchestrated effort of the media,” in conspiring to paint him as a monster, including “investigators, the system, Penn State, psychologists, civil attorneys and other accusers. “They won,” he adds. ‘I’ve wondered what they really won: Attention, financial gain, prestige… will all be temporary.” Also mentioned in the recording: how he was not treated to a fair trial; that his accusers are solely after money; and that he has only ever had sex with his wife. Sandusky faces 400 years in prison and will be sentenced tomorrow.
The scene outside East Hampton’s usually civilized Guild Hall was almost as frenzied as a mosh pit on Saturday night when an overflow crowd turned up to watch Alec Baldwin interview fellow leading man Richard Gere . The spirited conversation, which focused mostly on Gere’s pre- Pretty Woman career, was a precursor to the Arbitrage actor receiving the Hamptons International Film Festival’s 2012 Golden Starfish Award for Lifetime Achievement in Acting. Over the course of the discussion, Gere talked about some of his more unusual moments working with such storied directors at Terrence Malick, Richard Brooks, Francis Ford Coppola and Paul Schrader. For instance, he recalled his frustration working with Malick on Days of Heaven because of the lack of guidance that the filmmaker gave to his actors. Malick “is a really interesting guy,” Gere said, “but one of his quirks is that he doesn’t always know what he wants.” Indeed, during one frustrating scene, Gere said he found himself asking that very question of the director who then pointed to “linen curtains blowing” in the breeze of an open window. “I meant like that,” Gere said Malick told him, and in that case, the actor told Baldwin, “I knew exactly what he meant.” The silver-haired Gere also talked about Brooks’ secrecy regarding scripts. He recalled that when he asked the director if he could see the screenplay to Looking for Mr. Goodbar , Brooks invited him to his Los Angeles home, where the filmmaker’s wife, actress Jean Simmons greeted Gere and led the actor to a “romantically lit room.” There, Brooks gave him a half hour to read the script, which Gere implied, was not enough time, until he discovered that Brooks had “blacked out everything that was not my part.” The discussion took an amusing turn when Baldwin brought up the subject of American Gigolo and asked Gere if he was uncomfortable about his emergence as a sex symbol. The actor replied that it was an “interesting dilemma” and eventually invited his WME agent Andrew Finkelstein, who was sitting in the audience, to join the conversation. (Finkelstein was an assistant to the late ICM agent Ed Limato, who worked with Gere at the time of that 1980 movie.) Finkelstein replied that Limato “didn’t like” that the media was focusing on Gere’s “hunkishness,” adding: “You were a better actor than a hunk.” The line drew a big laugh from the audience, and Gere, wearing a wry smile on his face said: “I’m a better actor than a hunk. Thank you, Andrew.” Finkelstein recovered nicely by yelling out: “Richard is now looking for an agent.” Shortly before Gere was presented with his Golden Starfish award, Baldwin asked the actor if any of his leading ladies had ever fallen for him. “Someone told me that one of them had, and I said, ‘I wish they had told me!'” Gere replied. “But I’m not going to answer that question.” Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Hulk Hogan was snapped with Kim Kardashian in Miami this week – and now we know exactly what the celebrities talked about. Following weeks of rumors and jokes about the size of his python, a Hulk Hogan sex tape has officially hit the Internet. The grainy 30-minute video (Damn! Way to go, Hulk!) is shot in black and white and allegedly features the 59-year old former WWE star with a woman who performs oral sex on him. It’s a “a goddamn masterpiece,” says Gawker Editor-in-Chief A.J. Daulerio, whose site has posted the tape in its entirety. Hogan’s sex tape partner is rumored to be Heather Clem, the ex-wife of Hogan’s best friend, DJ Bubba the Love Sponge. Hulk, of course, was married to Linda Hogan for 20 years. The two divorced in July 2009 and have fought in the media ever since, with Linda claiming she once feared Hogan would kill her .

Well, gather round, kids, and let ol’ Uncle Skin tell you a story: A long, long time ago, back in the VHS era, somehow the British government became convinced that horror movies were single-handedly sending the morals of English youth straight down the toilet. So they assembled a list of 72 titles, each featuring content– nudity, gore, graphic torture, David Hess–that was deemed inappropriate and thus banned or censored in the UK. Of course, once this list was leaked to the media, each of those 72 movies became instant must-sees for horror fans, and the resulting notoriety has buoyed their popularity to this very day. To celebrate the twisted legacy of the Video Nasties, Los Angeles’ Cinefamily is holding a month-long series of 30 midnight movies, each hand-picked from that scandalous 72. We’ve already missed Night Warning (1981), Hell of the Living Dead (1980), and The Witch Who Came from the Sea (1976), but never fear- the lineup only gets more nasty as the month goes on, culminating with a 35mm screening of the infamous Cannibal Holocaust (1980) on Halloween night. And as a test for the most hardcore of horror hounds, Cinefamily is also holding a contest: each movie-goer who attends a midnight screening will be issued a scorecard, and the lucky guy (or gal) whose stomach of steel endures the most Nasties gets to guest program a Cinefamily screening of their choice! New York City officials weren’t exactly helpful when Ken Burns and his daughter were making a documentary about the racially charged 1989 Central Park jogger case, but now they’re hoping the finished film, The Central Park Five , will be useful to them. The film, which got a special screening in New York on Tuesday night, explores the lives of the five men who were convicted and later cleared in the case which became a symbol of racial tension in a metropolis besieged by crime. (The terms “wolf pack” and “wilding” were added to the media’s lexicon of fear-inducing terms as a result of the case.) The documentary, which was shown at the Cannes, Telluride and Toronto film festivals, scrutinizes the initial convictions of the Central Park Five, noting, for instance that the five men did not appear to be in the area of the park where the rape occurred, that their DNA was not found on the victim and that their confessions did not jibe with one another’s. Despite the movie’s perspective, the New York Times reported that lawyers for the city of New York have subpoenaed notes and outtakes from the documentary, which Burns directed with his daughter Sarah Burns and her husband David McMahon, in order to determine whether the material can help them fight a $50 million federal civil rights lawsuit that five men filed nine years ago as a result of their experience. In 2009, on the 20th anniversary of the incident, their lawyer Jonathan Moore called that experience “the most racist prosecution that occurred in the City of New York.” Ken Burns told the Times that the Sept. 12 subpoena came after the city had spent years declining the filmmakers’ requests for interviews to explain the actions taken by law-enforcement officials involved in the case. “There is a great deal of disappointment that it came to this, given the fact that we had given so many of the factions in this complicated story many, many opportunities, on a regular basis, to comment,” Burns said. The city insists that cops and prosecutors acted appropriate given the information that they had available to them then.. “We believe that based on the information that the police and prosecutors had at the time, they had probable cause to proceed, and the confessions were sound,” a city spokeswoman told the Times. I am going to start doing Yoga….not because Olga Kurylenko looks amazing in Yoga poses for Complex, because I never remember who Olga Kurylenko is, I always have to wikipedia her, and even after I do that, all I figure out is that she’s some communist born escapee via modeling as so many girls in 1980s USSR are, at least the ones we hear of, since every Russian we know is a fucking model, because the ones killed off in the illegal sex trade kinda aren’t put on our radar in the media…. I am going to start doing Yoga strictly to increase my flexibility and not because seeing girls in ridiculous fitness poses turns me on, that’s just a fucking bonus….
