According to The London Sun , the late singer carried on an affair with Jermaine Jackson – while the latter was married – in the early 1980s. The newspaper, which does not cite a single source, even claims Whitney’s hit single “Saving All My Love for You” was based on her secret romance with MJ’s brother. Despite some lyrics that make clear reference to a relationship falling apart and love gone wrong, Katy Perry insists “Part of Me” isn’t about Russell Brand. “I wrote it two years ago, which is funny because everybody is like ‘God, it sounds so current,'” the pop star, 27, told MTV News about her latest single. The song is full of jabs – “You can keep the diamond ring/It don’t mean nothing anyway” etc. – leading many to conclude that it was a dig at Russell . Not the case, says Perry, whose split with Brand remains amicable. Katy and Russell wed in October 2010 and split in December 2011 . “Some people that I work with were like, ‘Just say you wrote it a couple of weeks ago,'” she says. “I’m like, ‘I’m not a d—, I’m going to tell the truth.'” “I wrote it two years ago when I was writing and recording Teenage Dream , [but] it didn’t feel right on the record. Count Snooki’s ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella among the millions upon millions who worry that the world is by no means ready for a mini-Snooki spawn. Still, who the heck says this: “I hope for her sake … not to be rude or anything … but I hope she has a miscarriage.” Well then, tell us how you really feel there, Emilio. Emilio says hearing that Jionni LaValle got Snooki pregnant is scary: “When I was with her, she said she wanted twins. She would always say ‘Let’s have twins.'” “I would def recommend her to get a paternity test to see who the father is because I’m sure there are other subjects … Vinny could easily be the father.” Hey, Emilio said it , not us. As for whether Snooki, who is not only pregnant, but engaged to Jionni LaValle , will marry her man? Yes, Emilio says, but Snook will “pull a Kim Kardashian.” Someone’s going to be getting a cease and desist letter REAL quick. Speaking of which, lawyers for Snook (real name Nicole Polizzi) apparently sent a legal threat to Emilio, ordering him not to bash her. Clearly that worked. A month before he made this miscarriage comment, he told another media outlet he could be Snooki’s baby daddy too … implying he recently nailed her. The comment didn’t sit so well with her attorneys, who responded with a cease and desist letter, threatening to sue if he continued to blab about Snook. Her lawyers were pretty clear: “Demand is hereby made that you cease and desist making public statements regarding Ms. Polizzi that could in any way be taken to be offensive by her.” A month later … Emilio hopes she miscarries. For this edition of Behind The Click, we highlight Liz Burr who is a techie in the video production world. She took her years of experience as a digital consultant and social media expert and applied it to her current position of managing director at Moguldom Studios, the video development arm of Moguldom Media Group. What got you interested in tech? I went to MIT initially as a Biology major, and many of my classmates were Computer Science majors, as this is a very popular major there. My classmates were always hacking things and making cool projects in their free time, and I felt left out because I couldn’t do any of those things. While I was very much an eager technology consumer in high school, I wanted to be able to make cool things without the help of my friends and classmates. After pledging my sorority (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.), we needed a new website for our local chapter. I decided that instead of asking my (male) friends to help me build it, I would teach myself. So, I taught myself HTML, CSS and I loved it! I felt so empowered. Since then I’ve continued to teach myself other coding languages, and am generally very curious about how things work. My mother also knew some programming languages, and when I was a kid I used to read through her college course books for fun, so maybe that helped empower me on some level. Did you already know what you wanted to do by the time you got to MIT? Yes and no. I knew I loved Biology, but that I didn’t want to be a doctor. I knew I loved media, but wasn’t sure how being at MIT would help me with a career in media. I entered MIT with the mindset that I would double major in Biology and Media Studies and see what happened from there. I ended up later realizing I didn’t love Biology for a career path as much as I thought I would. Trust me–I forced myself to stick with Biology for 3 years in college, but eventually I dropped it and focused more on majoring in MIT’s Comparative Media Studios program.
Lindsay Lohan’s highly touted appearance on Saturday Night Live was met with mixed reviews, at best. But that didn’t stop her from earning big ratings for NBC. The 25-year-old actress, who has hosted the late night show four times, brought the program to #1 in it time slot, beating out all other shows on major networks. Additionally, Lindsay‘s episode is now counted as the second-most watched SNL of the season, with NBA legend Charles Barkley taking the top spot in 2011-12. A platinum blonde Lohan blew off the initial negative reviews and celebrated her heavily panned hosting gig at an after-party with the rest of the SNL cast. The star whose acting ability was called into question last night, stepped out in a trendy black and white ensemble and appeared oblivious to the criticism. In an effort to show support, Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan joined in, as did SNL regular Kristen Wiig, producer Lorne Michaels and musical guest Jack White. While Lindsay hosting SNL was supposed to help her comeback, it was met with scathing press instead. She appeared nervous, stiff and reliant on cue cards. Last year, MediaTakeOut reported that Falcons Linebacker, Michael Turner has 7 kids. According to one of his baby mamas, he has another one on the way. TMZ reports that Rasheeda Walker has 2 kids with the NFL star and one more on the way. Unfortunately, Michael’s new girlfriend wasn’t trying to hear that. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Walker claims she has 2 children with Turner and is “upset because he refuses to see them.” She also claims she’s pregnant with Turner’s 3rd child and wanted to talk to him about the situation.
