Average Condoms “Too Big” For Men In India India has one of the highest rates of HIV in the world, so one would think the population would be diligent about safe sex. However, it seems that condom usage is part of the problem, As it turns out, the average Indian man’s penis is just too small for international-standard condoms …so the disease keeps spreading like wildfire. Via Mirror : Condoms made to international sizes are too big for a majority of Indian men, a survey has found. A two-year study by the Indian Council of Medical Research found that more than half of the Indian men measured had penises that were shorter than international standards for condoms. Now there are calls for condoms of mixed sizes to be made more readily available in a country which already has the highest number of HIV infections of any nation. Over 1,200 volunteers from the length and breadth of the country had their penises measured precisely, down to the last millimetre, according to a report on the BBC news website. The scientists concluded that about 60% of Indian men have penises which are between three and five centimetres shorter than international standards used in condom manufacture. Doctor Chander Puri, a specialist in reproductive health at the Indian Council of Medical Research, told the BBC there was an obvious need in India for custom-made condoms, as most of those currently on sale are too large. Via WEDR : A West Palm Beach man is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail after he allegedly beat a woman who refused to have sex with him after he bought her breakfast at McDonald’s. Justin Jarrard Oliver is facing charges of felony battery and false imprisonment. Oliver, 26, is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail. The woman told West Palm Beach police that she and her boyfriend picked up Oliver in her car Wednesday morning then drove to the McDonald’s on 45th Street west of Australian Avenue. The trio placed made their order and Oliver paid the tab, according to an arrest report. Oliver then “demanded sex from (the victim) due to him buying her McDonald’s food,” the report said. As the woman was driving, Oliver allegedly “grabbed her by the arm/hand and attempted to pull her into the rear seat for sex,” according to the report. The woman screamed and held on to the steering wheel before bringing the car to an abrupt stop on 35th Street near Broadway. Once the vehicle stopped, Oliver jumped out and tried to pull the victim out of the car while again demanding sex, the report said. Oliver allegedly punched the woman with his fist, causing “severe injuries” that included a 1 1/2-inch laceration above her left eye and numerous other cuts and abrasions, the report said. The woman’s boyfriend jumped on Oliver’s back, allowing the woman to move the car a short distance away. The boyfriend then got back in the car and the woman drove to St. Mary’s Medical Center. You have witnessed a murder and killer go free … NYPD Cop Who Murdered Eric Garner Not Indicted By Grand Jury Staten Island was bracing for Ferguson-like trouble Wednesday after a grand jury chose not to indict an NYPD officer for killing Eric Garner with a chokehold, sources said. Via NY Daily News : There had been warnings earlier that a decision not to charge Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who is white, with a crime for killing a black man, would fan tensions. And as word of the panel’s decision seeped into the Staten Island neighborhoods where anti-police sentiment is strongest, cops were on high alert and prepared for the worst. The rally was held to address the medical examiner’s report that came Friday saying Eric Garner’s death was caused by a chokehold, a banned police maneuver. Garner, a 43-year-old father of six, was killed July 17 when Pantaleo subdued him on a Tompkinsville street with a banned chokehold. Police said they approached Garner because he was selling unlicensed cigarettes – better known as loosies – and that he resisted arrest. They noted that Garner’s rap sheet listed 31 arrests, beginning when he was 16. But Garner’s death sparked national outrage after The Daily News obtained a sickening cell phone video of his deadly encounter with police. Pantaleo, who had been accused of false arrest and violating police procedures in two previous lawsuits, was yanked off the street. The Staten Island district attorney and the Civilian Complaint Review Board launched probes. And the medical examiner’s office ruled Garner’s death a homicide. Daniel Pantaleo, the Staten Island cop accused of putting Eric Garner in a fatal chokehold, testified Friday in front of a grand jury. But after several months of reviewing the evidence, a majority on the panel, which sources said consisted of 15 white and 8 black or Hispanic jurors, concluded there was not enough there to charge Pantaleo with a crime. Pantaleo, 29, an eight-year veteran of the force, could still be hit with departmental charges that could end his career as a New York City police officer. Via STLToday Some Ferguson protest strategists turned on one of their own Thursday night, allegedly beating a man they accused of sending out unauthorized video of a meeting at Greater St. Mark Missionary Church in an unincorporated area of north St. Louis County. County police confirmed that they are investigating. The victim, identified as Chris Schaefer, a University of Missouri-St. Louis student, was chased from the church, at 9950 Glen Owen Drive, and beaten outside. He was treated for his injuries at a hospital. He details his story on a website where he asks for donations to cover the cost of his medical care. Patricia Bynes, a stalwart of the protest movement who attended the meeting, blamed members of the group Lost Voices for the attack. “If we’re going to hold police accountable for beating us, we need to hold ourselves accountable for incidents like this,” Bynes said. “I’m not saying all the Lost Voices were involved, but those that weren’t need to get their group under control because they have gotten increasingly violent lately.” Bynes said the meeting at the church was intended to be confidential. Some in the crowd accused Schaefer of using his smartphone to “live stream” the proceedings to the Internet. Gotta be extra careful when you’re an outsider on a cultural safari… In an interview Friday, Bynes described the circumstances. “The meeting started at around 7:30 and I got there a little late and sat down front,’ she said. “I was listening to what was going on and, all of a sudden, somebody yells out, ‘There’s a phone off the hook!’” “Others started repeating it, and then I see some members of the Lost Voices moving towards this young man.” Bynes said the group chased Schaefer outside. “They got him up against the wall. I couldn’t really see what was happening to him but I assumed he was getting beaten up,” she said. Says Schaefer about his attack: In a live stream that Schaefer sent out from the hospital emergency room, he discussed the incident and his injuries. “I was not live streaming at this meeting,” he says in the video, posted online. “I did nothing wrong. I have been a peaceful protester and live streaming, just trying to protect people from getting hurt who are protesting.” “Maybe they thought I was a cop,” he adds, “or they thought I was live streaming something that shouldn’t have been live streamed.” At one point, he holds up his heavily bandaged right hand. “I got hit pretty badly in many different places — my head, my hands, my sides, my stomach, and my legs,” Schaefer says.
