People Ain’t Isht: Pill Popping California Teacher Caught Stealing Meds From Elementary Special Ed Students

People stoop so low to get high… California Elementary Teacher Arrested For Stealing Medication From Students A California charter school teacher was caught red-handed stealing medication from the Special Education kid’s supply early this week. Via DailyMail : A California elementary school teacher is being charged with burglary and possession of a controlled substance after authorities allegedly saw surveillance footage that shows her stealing medication from special needs children. Sheri Haselhuhn, a 40-year-old mother and wife with 14 years of teaching experience, is also allegedly seen in the footage swallowing the medication. Police were first alerted by officials at Delta Charter school in Clarksburg on Tuesday after one of the student’s medication came up short. Somehow, the teacher didn’t realize that the medicine supply closet was under surveillance to catch med-thieves just like her… ‘A deputy responded and reviewed the footage, dated April 28, 2014. It showed Haselhuhn removing the medication and ingesting it.’ Haselhuhn was arrested in her West Sacramento home on Wednesday. The medication has not been identified. Nor have authorities revealed whether the student whose medication she stole was a current pupil of Haselhuhn’s. Meanwhile, parents of her current and former students expressed their shock and disbelief as news spread of her arrest. ‘She taught my son how to read,’ Linda McCapes, whose son was taught by Sheri Haselhuhn, told CBS Sacramento. ‘She was nice.’ Clearly we’ve seen teachers do worse , but still. She’s supposed to be someone these kids can trust. But after all her years of experience, she somehow didn’t think anyone would realize the medicine was running out too fast OR know that she was being taped? Sounds like she’s the one in need of special education! Photo: DeltaCharter.org

Booty Action: ‘Married To Medicine’ Star Dr. Simone Defends Dirty Dancing On Toya Bush Harris’ Husband

Is Dr. Simone giving Toya’s hubby some booty action? Dr. Simone Defends Dirty Dancing On Toya Bush Harris’ Husband The ‘Married To Medicine’ star has danced her way into controvery after getting a little too close with co-star Toya Bush Harris’ husband Eugene, Toya felt is was disrespectful to her marriage and went HAM on the doctor. The doctor cleared up the rumors via her Bravo Blog recently and claims she was just playing around with Toya’s husband, Dr. Eugene. I am totally disgusted that Toya would think my horsing around at the bowling alley was anything other than silliness. I was dancing on Dr. Eugene in a fun and joking manner. Never did I intend to evoke feelings of disrespect or disregard for my friend, Toya. Cecil and I have hung out with Toya and Eugene on numerous occasions and I assumed she knew that I respected her as my friend and love my handsome husband. Toya’s insecurities have blown my silly little gestures completely out of proportion. As a mature and professional woman, I would have preferred a one-on-one conversation with my friend, Toya, about my actions and her interpretations so that we could resolve the matter. Instead, there was an attempt to publicly assassinate my character at Heavenly’s party like we were recreating a Shakespeare play on Broadway. If I wanted to star on Broadway, I would be in New York, not Heavenly’s house. Apparently things haven’t resolved between the two women because in tonight’s episode of the angry birds almost come to blows following the confrontation: Will you be watching tonight?? Bravo

Shots Fired: Married To Medicine Star Mariah Huq Calls Quad Webb A “Knock-Off”

The beef is already brewing…let’s hope nobody’s wig gets pushed back. Married To Medicine Star Mariah Huq Disses Quad Webb Is this really how doctors’ wives act? According to Sister 2 Sister: The beef between former reality TV BFFs Quad Webb-Lunceford and Mariah Huq made its way to the blogs after the season 2 premiere of “Married to Medicine” aired Sunday night. During the show, the two tweeted some shady comments as they each shared their sides of the rift onscreen. Quad explained that Mariah hurt her, and Mariah told her family that Quad was distancing herself. What’s clear is that the friendship has been damaged, and instead of talking about it, they’re writing about it. “I’m literally disgusted,” Quad wrote in her BravoTV.com blog. “Mariah takes no responsibility for her actions, yet wants to take credit for my entire being. It’s so sad that she looks at everyone as a pawn on a chessboard,” she wrote. Mariah questioned a scene in which Quad wept on the shoulder of designer Reco Chapple. “Chile When did hands start having tears! #SideEye #uNeedMorePractice #stopLying,” she tweeted before describing “Oscar-worthy performances” on her blog. Mariah didn’t mention Quad specifically, but “Married to Medicine” fans didn’t take long to guess which cast mate she was referring to when she wrote: “Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but there’s a difference between an original and a knock-off.” Do you think Quad is trying to copy Mariah’s style?

Run! Celebrities Who Tried To Run From The Cops

Celebrities Who Ran From The Police Being arrested sucks. Dealing with cops sucks. No one wants to get arrested, but it’s best to just take your medicine. These celebrities didn’t want to get arrested so they tried to run from the police…and usually they failed. They  tried their hardest to avoid arrest by any means. And it didn’t end well.

The Sloth Foot Struggle: Veterinarian Faces Charges For Practicing On People After Man Loses Three Toes Following Treatment

Veterinarian Faces Charges After Treating A Person Ever been treated by an animal doctor for a foot problem? No? Welp, apparently no one told this guy that it wasn’t the best idea. via Fox News A veterinarian has been charged with practicing medicine on humans without a license after a man said he had to have three toes amputated because of improper care. Greeley detectives wrote Dr. Fran Freemyer a ticket for the misdemeanor on Wednesday after the 58-year-old man told police he went to Northern Colorado Medical Center in late June and doctors said he needed the toes removed. Police Sgt. Susan West said Thursday the man went to the vet with a foot ailment, and the vet gave him ointment. The problem got worse and he went to a hospital.| Freemyer told The Associated Press on Thursday he was treating a dog for skin cancer, and a woman who owned the dog took some of the medicine home and gave it to a neighbor without his knowledge. “I don’t treat people,” Freemyer said. He said the dog, a Jack Russell terrier named “Scooter,” had lesions on his back and he rubbed it with a thick topical ointment and sent the dog home. He said the woman who owns the dog somehow got some of the medicine, and when a neighbor complained of a similar ailment on his foot, the dog owner thought the medicine would help. This whole story sounds shay but, either way, all parties involved are equally idiotic for their actions.  SMH. Shutterstock Continue reading

Lawsuits: UCLA Forced To Pay $4.5 Milli Settlement To Black Surgeon On Faculty Who Was Depicted As An Oversexed Gorilla

It’s been over a year since we told you about Dr. Christian Head’s discrimination lawsuit against UCLA so we’re happy to report he’s getting pizzzzaid!!! Via LA Times reports : Dr. Christian Head, a surgeon at UCLA’s medical school, will receive $4.5 million to settle a racial discrimination lawsuit against the UC Board of Regents, the university system announced Thursday. The agreement settles the lawsuit, filed in April, that accused the university of failing to prevent discrimination, harassment and retaliation against Head. The head and neck surgeon alleged that he was retaliated against for filing complaints through normal channels and was denied teaching opportunities. Head, 51, also alleged that he was routinely publicly humiliated and once was depicted as a gorilla being s0d0mized in a slide show presentation during a resident graduation event. “The case presented difficult issues of alleged discrimination and retaliation that were strongly contested,” the university said in a statement. “…The matter was settled to the mutual satisfaction of the parties.” The regents approved the settlement in a closed-session meeting in San Francisco on Thursday. During a 2006 event for faculty, staff and graduating medical school residents, a slide show created by the residents — and typically reviewed by staff — included a photo in which Head’s face was superimposed on a gorilla that was being s0d0mized by a department chairman, according to the complaint. Without admitting fault or liability, the university acknowledged that “an inappropriate slide was shown” and regrets the incident, the statement said. Dr. Gerald Berke, chairman of the David Geffen School of Medicine’s Department of Head and Neck Surgery, and Dr. Marilene Wang were named in the lawsuit and were accused of making “inappropriate racial comments and insinuations about blacks” and Head for years, the court document stated. Both are UCLA physicians and professors. The settlement will be paid through a state general liability fund. Head, who resigned from his position, could not be reached for comment. His attorneys deferred to the statement released by the university. Head received his medical degree from Ohio State University in 1993. He joined UCLA’s medical school as part of a fellowship in 1994, then worked as an intern in 1996 and began his residency there in 1997. Congratulations Dr. Head! We are so happy for this man… Perhaps now the folks over at UCLA will get their act together. YouTube Continue reading
