Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel And Friends

I feel like there should be some hot stripper music playing in the background while I stare intensely at these pictures of supermodels Adriana Lima , Candice Swanepoel and their hot Victoria’s Secret friends in there sexy little dresses. Oh my god, if I ever found a strip club that had hot women like this I’d have to cash in my Bar Mitzvah money ASAP so I could move into one of the private dance rooms in the back. Heaven. more pictures of Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel And friends here

Megan Fox Needs To Liven Up

I can’t tell if these are pictures of Megan Fox or of a wax replica at the Madam Tussauds Wax Museum . I’m not kidding, she looks pretty creepy just standing there all shiny. I guess the best way to find out would be to check for melted handprints on her ass and boobs. I wouldn’t be against having a Megan Fox statue in my house, we could make fajitas and watch Grey’s Anatomy together. Good times.

On DVD: The Best High School Movie You Haven’t Seen

A big festival hit but otherwise a brash indie too grim and severe to really break out in theaters, Antonio Campos’s Afterschool is one of the best movies ever made about high school — that is, it nails the experience to the wall with a gutter spike. I’m not talking about the fun but fantastical high school movies you’re thinking of, like Fast Times at Ridgemont High , but the movies that capture the lostness, the social combat, and the pubertal angst, movies like Gus Van Sant’s Elephant , Lindsay Anderson’s If… , Shunji Iwai’s All about Lily Chou-Chou , and Tim Hunter’s River’s Edge . (I’d throw in Park Ki-hyeong’s moody K-horror epic Ghost School Trilogy and Frederick Wiseman’s High School , but maybe that’s enough adolescent hallway dread already.)

Megan Fox’s Hotness Heads North

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this Megan Fox chick is pretty damn hot. You heard it here first folks. Obviously that crap was a huge understatement, she is an incredibly hot piece of ass meat lady and deserves. Here she is at the Toronto International Film Festival looking absolutely amazing, she’s making me wish I was in Toronto. How many times have you heard anyone say that? Stupid Canadians with their universal healthcare, delicious beer and now Megan Fox . more pictures of Megan Fox here

Warehouse 13’s Allison Scagliotti on Finale Teasers, Mad Men Influences and Playing SyFy’s Coolest Nerd

Claudia Donovan is Warehouse 13 ‘s techie-type character, the one who spends long hours cataloging stuff like Man Ray’s soul-sucking camera and P.T. Barnum’s top — and then fortuitously saves everyone’s life with a quick hack to her cell phone and a glancing pop-culture reference to boot. She’s just so likable! So don’t be surprised when her real-life counterpart, Allison Scagliotti, wins you over with some big spoilers for the Warehouse season finale and a name drop of her favorite Mad Men character.

Have Television Shows Surpassed Movies in the Pop Culture Landscape?

In today’s edition of the New York Times , film critic A.O. Scott surveys the wreckage of a summer of bad movies (my eyes still burn from Eat, Pray, Love ) and wonders if “any of the movies surfacing this fall [will] provoke the kind of conversation that television series routinely do, breaking beyond niches into something larger.” Well, hopefully! But in his lament of the lameness of the film industry, isn’t Scott giving the television industry a bit too much credit?

Early Emmy Ratings Slightly Better Than Last Year

According to very early estimates , last night’s Emmy Awards telecast was watched in 10.1 percent of all households. That number is up from last year’s 10 household rating, meaning one-tenth of a percent more of the possible households in America decided to watch the Emmys. Progress! [ THR /The Live Feed ]
