But she does own a $125,000 car. And she just banked thousands of dollars by referencing a service shop on Twitter via an advertising deal with that company. Armed with explosives and guns, the Boston Marathon bombing suspects battled law enforcement officers in a Boston suburb early Friday morning. The two men unleashed chaos and killed an MIT campus officer before police took one of the men into custody and the other fled, officials said. The suspect taken into custody later died. Officials identified the man on the run as the “white-hat” suspect, referring to the photos released by the FBI Thursday. Authorities warned he should be considered armed and dangerous. The standoff with the suspects in Watertown, Mass., erupted after the fatal shooting of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer. A transit police officer was also wounded in the Watertown firefight. Officials in Watertown were warning residents to “stay in their homes and not open their doors unless a police officer is there,” according to reports. “There is a terrorist on the loose,” said one officer at an impromptu press conference at about 4:30 a.m. Friday morning, after the intense battle. The suspect at large is believed to be the man who physically placed the bags containing the homemade bombs which killed 3 and injured 170 on Monday. He is described as “dressed in a grey hoodie, light skinned male, brown curly hair,” with international links and having been in the country legally a year. The suspects approached the MIT officer and shot him in head, sources said, then stole the MIT officer’s cruiser, robbed a nearby 7-11 and carjacked a Mercedes. They briefly kidnapped the driver of the SUV, and the suspects threw explosives out the window of the moving car in what was a harrowing and chaotic scene. The dead suspect had an improvised explosive device strapped to his chest and law enforcement sources warned that the suspect on the run may as well. The intense situation in Watertown followed an hours-long lockdown at MIT, where the campus police officer was shot and killed while investigating. A disturbance was reported on the Cambridge campus. It is not clear exactly what, but the suspects are believed to have killed the MIT officer and fled. Even as police swept the campus, there were reports of a violent car chase and then an extremely heavy police presence in Watertown, four miles away. The events began unfolding with reports of shots fired on the MIT campus at 10:48 p.m. ET, and the situation remained “active and extremely dangerous” for hours. It was later reported that a campus officer had been killed. Watertown resident Andrew Kitzenberg described the police shootout outside his house that followed when officials tracked down the Boston bombing suspects . “They engaged in gunfire for a few minutes,” he told NBC News. “They were also utilizing bombs, which sounded and looked like grenades, [during] the gunfight.” “They also had what looked like a pressure-cooker bomb.” Kitzenberg said two people took cover between a black Mercedes SUV and a sedan, and began shooting 70 or 80 yards toward six Watertown police vehicles. “It was a firefight,” the witness added. “There was a long exchange of gunfire.” One of the shooters then ran toward the cops, while the other got into the SUV. The person on foot later fell to the ground, either tackled or shot. The other drove the SUV through the line of police cars at the end of the street, he added. Kitzenberg said that while he had a “very clear view of the shooters,” he couldn’t see their faces but described them as “average size, average height.” Story developing … UPDATE : The two bombing suspects are brothers, aged 19 and 20, and legal permanent U.S. residents of Chechen origin, law enforcement sources say.
I have always dreamed of the day I could be able to have a Bieber experience. On November 10th, 2012 my dream came true. Let me start from the beginning of the day, my friends and I woke up at 5 a.m. and got to the venue at 7 a.m. We stood there, waiting around for a while while we waited for the buses to come. We started singing Justin’s songs at the top of our lungs to try to get Justin to come out. Then after a few minutes, we saw Alfredo get out of the bus and walk inside a small door into the venue. We were ALL FREAKING OUT. A few minutes later, Scrappy came out and we’re all yelling, “SCRAPPY SCRAPPY SCRAPPY!!!” and he finally made his way over to us and took pictures with a few of us. We kept waiting and some more girls joined us. My 2 friends and I were still singing his songs at the top our lungs and yelling, “WE WANT JUSTIN” over and over again. Then, we met a guy named Josh who records Justin music, and he and some other guys came with 3 boxes from Dunkin Donuts and gave them to us. We found out later that Justin had actually bought us those donuts, he is a sweetheart. Then, 5 minutes later, Alfredo came out again, security closed the gate but he waved from behind it. Dan came out and took some pictures, we were screaming so loud. By then about 20 girls had come and then we saw Adam Braun get off the tour bus with his girlfriend. Kenny came off the tour bus but didn’t come close to us, but he was in his pajamas. Everyone kept saying Justin wouldn’t come out because he was shooting a commercial inside the venue. After that, we went inside the venue to see a line starting to become formed, we asked and they said it was the meet and greet line. My friend and I went in line, but had no idea what to do or say. Everyone else had their proof of purchase, I had nothing. How could I even expect to meet him? There was a door wide open, and the guard was standing in front of it checking wristbands. She then moved a little bit forward and turned her back to us. I saw a little opening of where I could easily run through without her knowing, I was terrified but suddenly I couldn’t think and I was doing it. I ran past her, I saw stairs and another guard in front of the stairs. The guard didn’t even look at our wrists and just told us to go upstairs. We ran upstairs and then saw this LONG line going all the way down 2 hallways. I was shaking, I asked a girl, “Is this the meet and greet line?” and she was like “Yes.” We stood in line and Nick Demoura was behind us, I just looked at him and I’m like, “I love you Nick.” and everyone around me was like “AWWWW” and he smiled big and said “Thank you!” Then we got closer to the front and my friend Holly was like, “We’re gonna get caught.” We could see the curtain and all I could think was, “JUSTIN IS IN THAT CURTAIN. HE IS IN THERE. A FEW FEET AWAY FROM ME. WE ARE SO CLOSE.” Finally I got in! There he was, the most flawless human being. All I remember is seeing him and just running towards him and throwing my arms around him for a hug. I looked up at him and he’s like, “Whoa” and he’s just staring with this shocked expression on his face because I had caught him off guard. I just couldn’t control myself, I had to hug him. He just looked so perfect, like he didn’t even look real. he looked like a doll, he was just so flawless. His eyes, his lips, his hair, just everything. I was just in shock, and then I remember I eventually let go and stood next to him and he put his arm around me and my friend. They took the picture of us and then they were pushing us out. Right before I left, I turned around and was like, “I LOVE YOU JUSTIN” and then we ran down the stairs screaming at the top of our lungs and crying. I was about to faint, I was just so happy. After 3 years of supporting this incredible, amazing boy who saved my life since “One Time,” finally I had the chance to hug him, and to tell him I love him. I will be thankful for the rest of my life for that moment with him. I owe it all to God, it was such a blessing that I didn’t get caught. Even though it was just 30 seconds, it was the best 30 seconds of my life. All the tears, the times when I felt like it would never happen, all the hard work, the waiting, it was all so worth it. Later we went into the venue again for the concert. He was putting all his emotions into every song, and you could tell he was truly happy performing for all of us, even with everything he is going through. Just being in the same room as him watching him perform meant everything to me. He has gotten so far and accomplished so much, and is just a true performer. As we were leaving the venue we saw one of his tour buses leaving and Dan, Scrappy and Kenny had stuck their heads out of the window. Scrappy yelled, “When I say Justin, you say Bieber.” A bunch of girls and I ran beside the bus yelling, “BYE WE LOVE YOU” until we couldn’t see the bus anymore. I will never forget November 10th, 2012. When I found out that Hollywood Tuna’s #10 hottest babe of 2012 was thrown out of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for not dressing appropriately I couldn’t believe it. Josh Brent may be getting sidelined for real! Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent is facing serious jail time for the DUI accident that killed his homie Jerry Brown earlier this month. Via TMZ reports : Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent has been indicted on one count of intoxicated manslaughter … after allegedly killing his teammate in a drunken car accident earlier this month. Brent was indicted by a Texas Grand Jury today following the December 8th crash that killed his friend and teammate Jerry Brown. Brent was behind the wheel at the time of the accident. Police in the Dallas suburb where the accident took place claim Brent was speeding when his Mercedes struck a curb and flipped over. Officers believe Brent was under the influence of alcohol. Brent is currently out on $100,000 bail and, if convicted, faces up to 20 years in prison. If you ask us people have been VERY VERY nice to Brent since this accident. People weren’t this nice to Brandy when she had her accident and she wasn’t even drinking. Has he been getting a pass because he’s an athlete? Specifically, a Cowboys football player?
