Despite continued confusion, early complaints of weak battery life and a new phone that looks exactly like the previous-generation model, flocks of hipster sheep lined up outside Apple Stores to buy the iPhone 4S simply to be part of the cool crowd. This is the picture Samsung paints in a clever new ad for the Galaxy S II, which is billed as the free thinker’s alternative to Apple’s herd-hooking iPhone…. On the books, Pacman got himself another W in Vegas last night against Juan Manuel Marquez. But everyone didn’t necessarily agree with the judges on this one. In fact, most in the sold-out crowd of 16,368, as well as quite a few on press row, thought he had lost. Pacquiao took a majority decision, but seldom in boxing history has a fight this big ended with this much doubt and controversy. The gutsy, effective opponent, Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico, who was given little chance and was sent off as anywhere from a 7-1 to 9-1 underdog, left the ring to raucous cheers, as he waved a huge sombrero. It was a good 15 minutes after the fight ended before the crowd stopped booing and hissing. To many, the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world was outboxed by Marquez, at 38 his senior by six years. Marquez not only stayed with Pacquiao in a heated pace for all 12 rounds, but he seemed to get the best of whatever flurries the two managed in their nonstop jiggling and dancing and feinting. Seldom before in boxing has there been a scene where a highly popular champion gets booed loudly and raucously during his post-match interview. Nobody could hear a word of what he said, and nobody seemed to care. They had seen what they had seen. Nacho Beristain, Marquez’s manager, called it “a robbery of the utmost.” It was a night in which the last thing you wanted to be was a judge. The three who will take tons of heat on this one were Robert Hoyle, Dave Moretti and Glenn Trowbridge. Hoyle had it 114-114, Moretti 115-113 and Trowbridge 116-112, both for Pacquiao. And so ended the controversial trilogy between the two. In 2004, Pacquiao knocked Marquez down three times in the first round and Marquez came firing back to get a draw. That’s the last semi-blemish on Pacquiao’s record. In that one, a much-forgotten element was that one of the judges scored the three-knockdown round 10-7 for Pacquiao, rather than the almost automatic 10-6. That one point would have erased much of the talk about this matchup. In the next fight, in 2008, Pacquiao won a split decision by one point. That was controversial too, but nothing near what this one may turn out to be. Did y’all watch the fight? Who did you took it? Source
So Keira Knightley shows some tit in a movie called A Dangerous Method that hasn’t been released here yet…..here’s the plot…. Set on the eve of World War I, A Dangerous Method is based on the turbulent relationships between fledgling psychiatrist Carl Jung, his mentor Sigmund Freud, and Sabina Spielrein, the troubled but beautiful young woman who comes between them. Sure, we’ve seen her tits before, but let’s hope this movie gets a littler more hardcore, not because I’m necessarily a Keira Knightley fan, but because I am a naked celebrity fan…and the movie is made by David Cronenberg, who is behind Crash, a movie I’ve jerked off to at least once, I mean fucking in cars as you crash them is exhilerating shit especially when it hit theaters in 1996, years before internet smut took over and those NC-17 movies and old national geographics were all we had……… TO See The Clip FOLLOW THIS LINK

Well, would you look at that. The war on drugs does exist and sometimes even work. U.S. authorities have arrested more than 70 people in a series of Arizona narcotics raids, dismantling a major smuggling network linked to a Mexican drug cartel that generated nearly $2 billion in illicit proceeds, officials said on Monday. The law enforcement effort, which included three sweeps conducted jointly by local, state and federal authorities, capped a 17-month investigation dubbed “Operation Pipeline Express.” The bust, ranked as one of the largest ever in Arizona, was announced at a news conference in Phoenix by officials of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department. A total of 76 suspects — a mix of U.S. and Mexican nationals — were arrested in raids carried out last week, earlier this month and in mid-September throughout southern and central Arizona, officials said. Those rounded up ranged from organizational “bosses” to stash house guards, scouts and drivers, they said. To date, the case has resulted in the seizure of over 60,000 pounds of marijuana, more than 200 pounds of cocaine and about 160 pounds of heroin, along with $750,000 in cash and more than 100 weapons. Intelligence gathered as part of probe found the drug-smuggling ring operated as a major U.S. hub for Mexico’s notorious Sinaloa cartel during at least the past five years, authorities said. During that time, the network is estimated to have smuggled more than 3.3 million pounds of marijuana, 20,000 pounds of cocaine and 10,000 pounds of heroin into the United States, generating illicit proceeds of nearly $2 billion. Authorities said the network richly profited by gaining a virtual monopoly over smuggling routes along an 80-mile stretch of Arizona’s southwestern desert. Operating from cells based in the Arizona cities of Chandler, Stanfield and Maricopa, the smugglers ferried narcotics by foot and vehicle from the border to a network of “stash” houses in the Phoenix area, where the drugs were then sold to distributors from other states. “We have dealt a significant blow to a Mexican criminal enterprise that has been responsible for poisoning our communities,” Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne said. “I find it completely unacceptable that Arizona neighborhoods are treated as a trading floor for narcotics.” Or at least that’s what they’d like us to think… Source
First live episode whittles pool down to 12 finalists. By Adam Graham Melanie Amaro performs on ‘X Factor’ Photo: FOX Five contestants were shown the door on Tuesday’s “X Factor,” the first live episode of the singing competition. Among those sent away during the two-and-a-half-hour episode was Dexter Haygood, the formerly homeless contestant who once lived on L.A.’s Skid Row. Haygood — described early on as the “funky phenomenon” by his mentor Nicole Scherzinger — said he was “kinda confused” by the dismissal, which followed his bizarro-world mash-up of Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” and Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl,” though he then said he didn’t know why he was confused. “Right now I’m in the boggle zone, which is the 21st century twilight zone,” Haygood explained. Also sent packing during the episode were 20-year-old Tiah Tolliver, a favorite of Simon Cowell’s who was never liked by the other judges; 22-year-old Simone Battle, who plugged her upcoming music video even as she was being given the boot; crooner Phillip Lomax, the 22-year-old who was saddled with singing the outside-of-his-comfort-zone “I’m a Believer” on the episode by his mentor L.A. Reid; and brother duo the Brewer Boys, who apologized to their mentor Paula Abdul (older brother Justin referred to her as “Ms. Paula”) for letting her down in their performance. That left 12 finalists who will go on in the competition:
Aerosmith singer’s accident causes postponement of band’s South American show. By Gil Kaufman Steven Tyler Photo: Getty Images Whenever Steven Tyler falls down, chances are Aerosmith is going to get some time off. The latest tumble by the 63-year-old rock and roll icon and “American Idol” judge took place on Tuesday in Paraguay, when Tyler reportedly slipped and fell in his hotel bathroom, ending him to a local emergency room. According to a Reuters report, Tyler spent four hours at La Costa medical center in Paraguay’s capital and received emergency dental work and stitches to repair cuts to his face and the loss of two teeth. The incident forced Aerosmith to cancel Tuesday night’s show in Asuncion, Paraguay, which was part of their current Latin American tour. The outing kicked off on Saturday in Lima, Peru, and is slated to hit La Plata, Argentina, on Friday and swing through Brazil, Panama, Columbia, Ecuador and Mexico before heading to Japan in late November. “Mr. Tyler had a small accident that prevents him from staging the concert tonight,” said Marcelo Antunez, a spokesperson for the show’s promoter. “He is fine, he’s in his hotel but he’s not able to do the concert.” The concert has been rescheduled for Wednesday (October 26) night. Another spokesperson for the promoter, Nicolas Garzia, tweeted that Tyler had been dehydrated and was suffering gastrointestinal problems before the tumble. The last time Tyler fell was in August 2009, when he slipped off a stage in South Dakota and was airlifted to a hospital, which forced the postponement of the group’s North American tour. The inter-group tension that followed almost resulted in the Rock Hall of Famers breaking up as the band briefly weighed searching for a new singer . Related Artists Aerosmith
