Jason Wahler Charged with DUI For 739th Time

Jason Wahler may not be a hard ass convict, but The Hills party boy is still making a run at DMX’s arrest record. The meathead was just charged with two counts of DUI after his second alcohol-related arrest in less than a month. According to the Orange County District Attorney, Jason Wahler, whose blood alcohol level was allegedly .15 percent, or nearly double the legal limit when he was busted on March 19 – faces six months behind bars if convicted. A week earlier, Wahler was arrested after a bar fight in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, only to be mysteriously bailed out and travel back across the border. He then got arrested in a country where bribes don’t work as easily. Jason Wahler and his circa 1995 frosted hair are seen in many mug shots. Here, he looks surprisingly coherent. Must have caught him on a rare sober night. In a statement, the ex-boyfriend of Lauren Conrad says he feels extremely ” ashamed ” after he was arrested again for driving under the influence. These are not the first such incidents for Wahler, who has been in rehab, and was arrested a staggering four times in as many states in one year. Wahler is disappointed by his own bad behavior and has apologized to fans of the MTV series, which is going off the air after its sixth season run.

Mexican traffickers cement grip in US

WASHINGTON — Mexican criminal organizations have more than doubled heroin production in a year and have cemented their grip as the predominant wholesale suppliers of illicit drugs in the United States, a government report concluded Thursday. The National Drug Threat Assessment found that Mexican groups were the only drug trafficking enterprises operating in every region of the United States. The study by a unit of the Justice Department says Mexican traffickers increased the flow of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana into the United States, while they increased production of those drugs in Mexico. The reach of Mexican drug operations comes with the availability of illicit drugs in the United States on the rise, the report said. In 2009, the prevalence was increasing in some areas of the United States for four of the five major drugs: heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and MDMA. Cocaine shortages persisted in many markets as they have since 2007 due to decreased cocaine production in Colombia, increased worldwide demand for cocaine in Europe and elsewhere, and enhanced counterdrug efforts by the Mexican government. Heroin production in Mexico rose from 17 pure metric tons in 2007 to 38 pure metric tons in 2008, with the increase translating to lower heroin prices and more heroin-related overdoses and more overdose deaths, according to government estimates in the report by the National Drug Intelligence Center. http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/03/25/1547256/report-mexican-traffickers-cement…. added by: copperdragon

Drake’s Spring Break 2010 Set Shows How Far He’s Come

A year ago, Lil Wayne brought Drake and the rest of his Young Money camp onto the mtvU Spring Break stage in Panama City Beach, Florida, for a performance of “Every Girl.” That shortly after So Far Gone dropped, but shortly before the mixtape took Drake to another stratosphere. Fast-forward to last week’s Spring Break 2010 shows in Acapulco, Mexico, and there couldn’t be a more perfect example of the line in his song “Over”: “I know way too many people here right now that I didn’t last year.” Drake performed that song — the first single off his upcoming Thank Me Later — for the first time on television in front of hundreds of excited, scantily clad partiers. This time, Drizzy was rapping by his lonesome, backed only by a live band. Drake recently told MTV News that he wanted “Over” (produced by Boi-1da and Al Khaaliq) to prepare everyone for what’s to come from him. “I wanted to emerge at first from this album and just let people know, ‘This is how I’m coming out in the public eye. I’m ready for anything,’ ” he said. “Then when you get the album, it’s like, ‘Oh, he’s still human. He’s still thinking the same way.’ I wanted people to understand I could have lost it. ‘Over’ could have been my entire album. Just ’cause that’s what this industry and game will do to you if you lose yourself.” At Spring Break, Drake looked like he was composed and enjoying himself — jumping around, smiling and taking time to hit a beach ball back toward the crowd. Drake’s fellow Young Money member Nicki Minaj also performs at the show. Jason Wahler Sprung From Mexican Jail Cell, Then Arrested Again For DUI Back in the U.S.

DMX had better watch his back. Former Laguna Beach and Hills star Jason Wahler was arrested last week for allegedly driving under the influence, having just been sprung from jail in Mexico! Newport Beach, Calif., police say Wahler was nabbed for driving a 2008 Chevy Tahoe while intoxicated. Hilariously, he described himself to police as “an actor.” He was released under his own recognizance. You may recall Wahler was arrested in Cabo San Lucas , Mexico and held there earlier this month after a bar fight. As for how he got back to the U.S., that remains shrouded in mystery. The U.S. Consulate is, for whatever reason, kept the reason for his release on the DL. Until he gets arrested, we always forget about him too . Jason Wahler was cuffed a week ago Thursday and thrown in the slammer after getting in a fight, yet no record of Jason was found during calls to various jails. The Consulate says he was released seven hours after being locked up after the ex of Lauren Conrad signed a document keeping the terms of his release secret. Who knew you could even do that, it’s news to us, and You have to wonder what he did to secure his release. You gotta love Mexico. According to Wahler’s father, no charges were filed against his son in Mexico. As for the Newport Beach DUI, he’s not likely to be let off with any secret bribe.

Round 2 NCAA Bracket Update 2010: NCAA March Madness Results and Scores Today – The 2010 NCAA Tournament is just heating up. Saturday, The 2010 NCAA bracket update has a bunch of upsets. First, congratulations to the Moraga, California St. Mary’s Gaels, the underdog 10th seed upset the number 2 seed Villanova Wildcats 75 to 68, and with Cal playing Duke Sunday, gives the San Francisco Bay Area NCAA Tournament bragging rights – for at least a day. What another exciting day for NCAA Tournament action where we have 8 teams that are now headed for the Sweet 16 in hopes of bringing a National Championship to their respective colleges. The last 2 games to be played tonight featured Wildcats as winners.  The Kansas State Wildcats beat BYU.  Just minutes after the Kansas State win, The Kentucky Wildcats easily beat Wake Forest to advance to the Sweet 16. Then two other major upsets. The University of Washington Huskies, who are the co-Pac-10 Champions with the University of California, continue their surprising run, beating the New Mexico Lobos 82 to 64. All eyes were on this crucial match. Many were betting for the West Virginia. But as luck would have it at the end of the match Morgan State jetted out to a 10-0 lead over West Virginia. The result was not a big surprise. But it forced many teams to sit and take notice of the development. Instantly this was something for the 2-seed Mountaineers. As long as you think gay sex is beautiful. See I was a young boy in an orphanage in Mexico and I saw some pretty homo shit go down. Nothing serious happened to me but I knew at a young age religion was fucked, only because shit was corrupted by perverts, ex-cons, drug addicts, homeless and homosexuals who decided to become priests when they couldn’t find their way in normal society….. Shit was population control, it is dated, uninteresting and unrealistic….It didn’t evolve with society and the lessons in it may be nice and wholesome and the fear that living a bad life may send you to hell is alright when you want people to self-govern…but when you see a priest or “ambassador of god”, who spent his life shoving the lessons down people’s throats, committed to the cause, while having gay sex with a 19 year old, you gotta wonder how legit the whole thing is….and I’m going with not very legit… That’s not to say to not believe in whatever you believe in, don’t get bitter and think there is no God, don’t stop your little sex cult you’re creating in your neighborhood, cuz I don’t care what you believe I jut care when your religious idios are hypocrites…but I suggest you don’t go visit your priest afterhours and let him trick you into sucking on his old weathered dick for Jesus or some shit… No this is not a gay site, but apparently when shit is sent from God it makes the sex not gay, but instead Holy….and I just find it a funny story…

By Shaheem Reid Juelz Santana Photo: John Ricard/FilmMagic The O.D.: A Mixtape Daily Exclusive Lloyd Banks and Juelz Santana have perhaps the biggest record in New York City right now with “Beamer, Benz or Bentley.” Santana recently told us about the next shout-out to the Big Apple — he’s lined up some of NYC’s finest for a track from his upcoming The Reagan Era mixtape. “We got another record for the mixtape,” Juelz explained of how he and Banks plan to follow up their current smash. “That record’s actually got me, Fabolous, Jadakiss and Banks on it. … We took the Estelle sample from ‘American Boy’ that goes ‘Take me to New York’ and kept repeating that. I sent it to everybody that I felt [could kill it], which was me, Fab, Banks and Jada. But me and Banks gonna have to do another one together with just me and him. That record is crazy. That Reagan Era is gonna be a problem — that’s why I been taking my time strategically building up. I think now is a better time. Every day I’m drawing more attention to myself.” While Juelz has the video for his record with Lil Wayne “Home Run” — also off of The Reagan Era — coming soon, he’s still excited about “Beamer, Benz or Bentley.” “I knew what that song was gonna be when we did the record,” Juelz said about his duet with Banks. “The beat is so unique, then you got two artists that’s never done a record before. And it’s a record that people would like to hear. It’s a ‘hood record and we was both spitting on there — you rarely get that anymore, especially with two artists like me and Banks. A lot of time people teaming up and they just making records because the names sound good. But the records don’t sound good because they either rushed or n—as just getting up just to get up. You know how they say when two artists get together and make a song how it is supposed to be? It completes everything we do. It’s radio, but it’s still hard. ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley,’ that’s still ‘hood rich. It captures the essence that people would have liked for it to have with me and Banks on the same record.” Santana says The Reagan Era will be out before the end of the month. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, More

Irish and Ireland-loving bands will whoop it up to celebrate the holiday. By MTV News staff Dropkick Murphys’ Al Barr Photo: Jakubaszek/ Getty Images St. Patrick’s Day fanatics are facing another tough decision this year, with the annual celebration of Irish culture falling in the middle of the week for the second year in a row. One of the nation’s premier shamrocking bands, Boston punks the Dropkick Murphys , happen to have a new live album, Live on Lansdowne, which was recorded last year during their seven-show, six-night St. Paddy’s run.They’re back at the House of Blues in Boston on Wednesday night (March 17) for the second night of a sold-out stand with Sick of It All and gypsy punks Larry and His Flask. As usual, Boston is a nexus of Irish rock gigs, with Toronto’s appropriately named Celtic rock band Enter the Haggis teaming up with Hoots and Hellmouth at the city’s Showcase Live! one of the city’s favorite sons, former Murphys singer Mick McColgan, and his Street Dogs hit the Cobra Lounge in Chicago on Wednesday as well. California’s answer to the Murphys, Flogging Molly — who also have a new live album out, Live at the Greek Theatre — are in the midst of their annual Green 17 Tour, which will find them in Tempe, Arizona, for the big night playing at the Luckyman’s St. Patrick’s Day Bash at Tempe Beach Park. Another long-running Irish punk act, Black 47, who warmed up for the big day with a show at Boston’s Showcase Live! on Tuesday night, will touch down at B.B. King’s in New York to play their 21st St. Patrick’s Day gig, also a celebration of a new CD, Bankers & Gangsters. One of the most popular traditional Irish bands on the planet, the long-running Chieftains, have a gig at New York’s Town Hall in support of their new album, San Patricio, which blends the music of the Emerald Isle and Mexico with guest spots from Linda Ronstadt, Liam Neeson and Los Tigres del Norte. And while legendary pub rockers the Pogues don’t have any gigs planned this year, sadly, Chicago’s the Tossers will do their best to honor the spirit of Shane MacGowan and company with a throwdown at one of their hometown’s premier rock clubs, the Metro. And finally, celtic rockers the Young Dubliners will play the ShamRock in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego in the evening and then hit the House of Blues in Los Angeles for a 10:30 gig later that night. The ShamRock will also feature sets from Irish pub rockers the Fooks, No Doubt cover band No Duh and a headline spot from SD’s favorite Irish punk band the Down Family.

Jason Wahler Arrested in Cabo

Remember Jason Wahler? The reality star best known for dating Lauren Conrad on Laguna Beach and The Hills , and for being a douche and getting arrested a lot? Well, he’s still around, and back to his old tricks! Fortunately, we don’t mean dating LC. Dude got arrested and thrown in the back of a pickup truck down in Mexico after he allegedly got into a fight at a nightclub. Sources say it all went down at a club called the Pink Kitty in Cabo San Lucas, where the meathead to the max got into a big scuffle with someone inside the bar. Security escorted Jason Wahler outside after the alleged fight too place, at which point local cops manhandled him and tossed him into the back of a pickup truck. FAMILIAR FACE : Most Jason Wahler pics are mug shots . Interestingly, despite this report, police deny that anyone named Jason Wahler was in their jail this week, and his rep or lawyer have declined comment so far. Which basically means he’s being held without cause … or with cause, who knows. But it seems like this guy and a jail cell are simply destined to be together.
