Top 10 Phony Funbags

While we here at Mr. Skin prefer the female anatomy all natural and au naturel, the prevalence of plastic surgery means we see plenty of phony funbags. We wholly accept these gloriously augmented appendages as another scintillating sampling on the skin smorgasbord. But as fake funbags go, Alyssa Milano , Diane Kruger , and Shannon Elizabeth have some of the best of the breast!

Bob Beckel on Fox News: Who Gets Raped Anymore?!?

A Fox News segment on gun control and concealed weapon laws led panelist Bob Beckel to somehow question the prevalence of rape on college campuses last night. Beckel, a liberal co-host of “The Five,” was discussing the proposal to ban concealed weapons on Colorado campuses and debating with his colleagues what a woman might do in the face of an attacker when he asked: “When was the last time you heard about a rape on campus?” His fellow panelists reacted in consternation, of course, as the Department of Justice estimated in 2010 that one in four women “will be victims of rape or attempted rape before they graduate within a four-year college period.” Watch the very awkward exchange now: Fox Co-Host Rape Remark

Women In The World: Modern-Day Slavery & Human Trafficking

View original post here:

Many of today’s women and children are being enslaved through the rampant sex industry around the world. Promised a better life and more opportunities, women are sold by their families only to find that they were tricked and are actually being sold into prostitution. There are different forms of human trafficking, all of which involve women being lured away from their families toward a life in which they are constantly indebted to someone. Here are some statistics about the prevalence of human trafficking from a group called Global Issues Affecting Women : -The US Department of State estimates 600,000-800,000 trans-national trafficking victims each year . -The U.S. State Department estimates that 80 per cent of trafficking victims are women or girls (about 640,000 each year). -Human trafficking is the second largest criminal industry in the world after drug dealing, and it is the fastest growing. Similar to how drug dealing works, the exploiter profits from his sale. However, in this case, the item being sold is a human against her will. Often, women are forced into prostitution or forced to work extremely demanding jobs such as factory workers. Then, the owner of the woman gets to keep the majority of her profits, successfully keeping the woman inferior and needy. The reason that human traffickers are able to successfully scare their victims into silence and servitude is because they transport them to a foreign location where they have no connections or opportunities to save them. Women are stripped of their belongings and important travel documents in order to keep them from attempting to flee. Owners can easily deprive the woman of food and water to emphasize the power that they have over their victims. Here, the woman is the property of her owner and must abide to what he says or suffer the consequences of abuse, sexual assault, or even death. Often, women are blackmailed into listening to their owners because the victims are threatened that their owner will have her families killed at home if they do not follow the rules. One of the biggest risks with sex slavery is the prevalence of premature death of the woman. This can be the result of suicide, homicide, drug problems, or HIV/AIDS. Because women are forced to live unhealthy lifestyles at the mercy of their owner, they often fall victim to diseases and fatal situations. Human trafficking is an important issue not only because of the inhumane acts that it entails and the psychological damage that ensues, but also because of the illegal movement of immigrants across the globe. Just as slavery existed in American history, women are being sold, bought, and transported against their wills. At this very moment, women and children are being help captive, forced to give up their bodies and work without hopes of being able to escape and live a free life again. The Wrong View: Talk Show Under Fire for HIV-Related Comments

This is a first: The View is facing controversy, and it’s NOT over something Elisabeth Hasselbeck said. In fact, that conservative commentator – whose most recent example of opinionated nonsense involved a shot at Erin Andrews – has nothing to do with why GLADD is taking aim at this ABC talk show. Instead, the organization has its sights set on Sherri Shepherd and D.L. Hughley, the June 22 guest host. On that date, the pair talked about the influx of HIV among African-Americans and blamed it on gay black men that were in the closet, aka “on the down low.” “When you look at the prevalence of HIV in the African American community, it’s primarily young women who are getting it from men who are on the down low,” Hughley said. Added Shepherd, offering no data to back up her assertion: “It’s so big in the black community with women because they’re having sex with men who have been having sex with men.” In response, GLADD has taken out a full-page ad in Variety that reads: “The Centers for Disease Control has publicly disproven this myth. And since June 22, thousands of people have written to ABC, asking that The View provide correct information to viewers. Unfortunately, those requests have been greeted with silence from both ABC and The View .” Panelists on the show are known for expressing their opinions and have the right to speak their minds, of course. But when making grand claims such as the one above, it would nice if they relied on facts to support their statements.

Porn Is 3D TV’s Best Hope

Years ago, the prevalence of porn on VHS tapes helped secure that format's victory over betamax. Now adult content again may play a decisive role in the evolution of video entertainment, as the promise of immersive sexual entertainment lures new customers to 3D television sets. With porn representing 30% of the overall video market in Japan, a 3D title featuring prominent porn stars—like the one becoming available next week—could be the push for many consumers to get the new sets, Bloomberg reports. “I want to try it out,” said one Japanese adult-cable subscriber. “I need something dramatic to justify replacing my TV. This could be the motivation.” Analysts agree: “It’s lack of content that’s hindering expansion,” of 3D TV, says a Barclay's economist. http://www.newser.com/story/91061/porn-is-3-d-tvs-best-hope.html added by: unimatrix0

Mexican traffickers cement grip in US

WASHINGTON — Mexican criminal organizations have more than doubled heroin production in a year and have cemented their grip as the predominant wholesale suppliers of illicit drugs in the United States, a government report concluded Thursday. The National Drug Threat Assessment found that Mexican groups were the only drug trafficking enterprises operating in every region of the United States. The study by a unit of the Justice Department says Mexican traffickers increased the flow of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana into the United States, while they increased production of those drugs in Mexico. The reach of Mexican drug operations comes with the availability of illicit drugs in the United States on the rise, the report said. In 2009, the prevalence was increasing in some areas of the United States for four of the five major drugs: heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and MDMA. Cocaine shortages persisted in many markets as they have since 2007 due to decreased cocaine production in Colombia, increased worldwide demand for cocaine in Europe and elsewhere, and enhanced counterdrug efforts by the Mexican government. Heroin production in Mexico rose from 17 pure metric tons in 2007 to 38 pure metric tons in 2008, with the increase translating to lower heroin prices and more heroin-related overdoses and more overdose deaths, according to government estimates in the report by the National Drug Intelligence Center. http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/03/25/1547256/report-mexican-traffickers-cement…. added by: copperdragon
