What Were You Thinking??? Michael Vick Cancels On Oprah

In her quest to close out Season 25 with a bang, Oprah offered Mike Vick the opportunity to solidify his comeback in America’s hearts and minds. And this fool is reneging on his acceptance of the invitation. Of all the moves Michael Vick has made, this is one of the more curious ones. He has bailed on Oprah. The Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback — the NFL’s comeback player of the year — canceled the taping of an interview (subject matter: doing time for his part in an illegal dogfighting ring, his return to the NFL, his work with the Humane Society and his future) — with the queen of gab. “After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future.” There’s a report out of Philly that quotes sources saying the Eagles pressured Vick to cancel. Maybe he decided it was a bad idea to do the interview so close to the Westminster dog show. Maybe it’s connected to getting the Eagles’ franchise tag. In any event, given that her show is going off the air, a rebooking might not be likely. Joe Flint of the Los Angeles Times thinks Vick is making the right move in keeping a low profile. “Going on ‘Oprah Winfrey,’ though, to be given some sort of blessing by the queen of talk is too much too soon,” Flint writes. “Part of what Vick needs to learn and show is humility, and going on a popular TV show to say look at me now is not humble.” We don’t know about that one. Crying on Oprah is NEVER a bad look for a celebrity. Source

F*ck This Guy: Mark Buehrle And Wife “Hoped Michael Vick Got Hurt” This Season

What part of the game is THIS??? We know some people are never going to forgive Mike Vick, but you wanna wish evil on him…COTdamn! Mark Buehrle, a Chicago White Sox pitcher and animal rights activist, does not believe Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been fully punished for his felony conviction for bankrolling and partaking in a dogfighting ring in 2007. “He had a great year and a great comeback, but there were times where we watched the game, and I know it’s bad to say, but there were times where we hope he gets hurt,” Buehrle told MLB.com in a recent interview. “Everything you’ve done to these dogs, something bad needs to happen to these guys.” The story, which was published on Wednesday, centered around the animal rights work Buehrle does with wife Jamie. Sometime after being posted, the comments were edited out of the text and a note was attached: “This story was not subject to the approval of Major League Baseball or its clubs.” The writer, Scott Merkin, also posted the quotes on his Twitter account, but the tweets were later deleted. We hope something happens to you too, f*ck-boy… Source

New Jennifer Lopez Single: What Do You Think?

Jennifer Lopez really is attempting a comeback. As you may have heard, the former A-lister will judge American Idol this season, while also pushing a few new singles on the public. The first, titled “On the Floor,” has been released online. It’s upbeat, it features (extended) guest rapping by Pitbull and, we’re sorry to say, but this artist would have been better off living with Michael Vick a few years ago. Seriously, this is pretty bad stuff… Jennifer Lopez – On the Floor (Ft. Pitbull)

Ho Sit Down: Super Wankster Tucker Carlson Reneges On Michael Vick Execution Statement

Oh now this douchebag wants to take back his words : Tucker Carlson returned to “Hannity” on Monday and walked back his statement that footballer Michael Vick “should’ve been executed” for his abuse of dogs. He had made the statement on last Tuesday’s show after it emerged that President Obama had spoken with Vick. Sean Hannity joked that he’d read that Carlson was “destroying the show” during his break and asked him to explain his comments. “This is what happens when you get too emotional,” Carlson said. “I’m a dog lover, I love them and…I know a lot about what Michael Vick did…I overspoke. I’m uncomfortable with the death penalty in any circumstance. Of course I don’t think he should be executed, but I do think that what he did is truly appalling.” Source

Understanding The Frenzy Over Vick and White Folks’ Heightened Love of Dogs

So Tucker Carlson, Fox News commentator and professional agitator, recently ignited a small controversy over his comments that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick should have been executed three years ago when convicted on dog-fighting and animal cruelty charges. As a Philadelphian, and needless to say Eagles fan, no one is happier than I (and the millions other Eagles fans around the country) to have a player like Vick leading the helm.  But even through his redemptive professional comeback, Vick still can’t escape the calls from animal rights activist and dog owners alike that he should have been stripped of his freedom and barred from the game forever. FOX News Analyst: Michael Vick Should Be Executed

Filed under: Michael Vick , Tucker Carlson Tucker Carlson said on FOX News Channel last night … Michael Vick should have been executed for killing dogs. Carlton railed on President Obama for suggesting Vick deserved a second chance. A little extreme?

Tucker Carlson on Michael Vick: Execute Him!

Many football fans, including President Barack Obama, are happy about Michael Vick getting a second chance from the Philadelphia Eagles. Fox News’ Tucker Carlson is not one of those people. We know it’s a 24-hour news world, and Fox anchors are mandated to embrace the opposite view of anything Obama says, but listen to this: Tucker Carlson on Michael Vick: KILL HIM! “I’m a Christian, I’ve made mistakes myself, I believe fervently in second chances,” Carlson said. “But Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did in a cruel, heartless way. Personally, I think he should’ve been executed for that.” “He wasn’t, but the idea that the President of the United States is getting behind someone who murdered dogs? Kind of beyond the pale.” So … the Christian thing to do is execute Michael Vick? What if he can truly be rehabilitated and people can learn from his example? Michael Vick loves animals now. What more do you want? For its part, the White House reiterated that Obama condemns his crimes (running a dogfighting ring) but believes convicts should get a chance to contribute to society when they are released from prison (Vick served nearly two years). Tell us, was Michael Vick’s sentence fair?

Ho Sit Down: Wankster Tucker Carson Says Michael Vick Should Have Been Executed [Video]

WTF: Tucker Carlson filled in for Sean Hannity Tuesday night on Fox News and made a shocking claim: Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick should be executed. Carlson led a panel discussion pegged to President Obama’s recent phone call with the Eagles owner, in which he applauded the Eagles for giving Vick a second chance following his time in jail over his dogfighting scandal. But Carlson is not as forgiving as Obama or the Eagles. “I’m a Christian, I’ve made mistakes myself, I believe fervently in second chances,” Carlson said. “But Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did in a heartless and cruel way. And I think, personally, he should’ve been executed for that. He wasn’t, but the idea that the President of the United States would be getting behind someone who murdered dogs? Kind of beyond the pale.” This guy needs to be executed for talking shyte. F*ck him. SMH. Source

Mel Gibson Still Downplaying Anti-Semitic Rant

As if his unrequited, unsolicited support for Tiger Woods weren’t strange enough, Mel Gibson tried (in vain) to defend his 2006 meltdown again this week. Mel’s blatant anti-semitic rampage at the Malibu police station after his arrest for drunk driving became one of the top celebrity scandals of the decade. But, while promoting his new movie, Edge of Darkness , Gibson said that people should just let it go
