Josie Duggar (Baby #19): Hospitalized Again!

As Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar plan to welcome their 20th child next year, their recent trip to Israel brought more medical duress for their 19th, Josie-Brooklyn. Next week’s season finale episode of the soon-to-be-renamed 19 Kids and Counting shows Josie rushed to the hospital during the family vacation, in dire straits. She was “congested” says Jim Bob, as Josie cried in the hospital. As the little girl struggles, the rest of the family must decide if they’re going to continue their trip around the country they traveled so far to visit as a group. At the same time, there was no debate over whether having a 20th baby was a smart decision. She admits it’s not for everyone , but Michelle never wavered. The stress of their “littlest little,” who was born prematurely and has endured myriad health woes in the last year and a half, being sick hasn’t stopped the Arkansas family from expanding, as we know, given their impending arrival. Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. A documentary he filmed for MSNBC then came under fire. Rick Perry Stumbles in Debate Rick Perry’s campaign for President pretty much ended Wednesday (above). Karen Karushaar says Herman Cain sexually harassed her in the 1990s. Sharon Bialek made the same claims earlier in the week, with details. Ashton Kutcher’s Tweeting days may have come to an unfiltered end. Zsa Zsa Gabor Rushed to Hospital, Again

Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the hospital today after blood began to spill out of the feeding tube in the 94-year-old Hollywood legend’s stomach. In a familiar pattern, her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, called 911 approximately earlier this afternoon as soon as he noticed the bleeding. It’s been less than a month since Zsa Zsa was hospitalized the last time for the same reason, but Prince says that once again, she’s going to be okay. Gabor has been hospitalized repeatedly since July 2010, when she broke a hip falling from bed. Most of her right leg was amputated in January after an infection. With her health worsening, von Anhalt has been forced to list the pair’s palatial mansion – valued at a remarkable $28M – in order to pay for her medical fees. “I just want to settle my wife’s debts and keep her comfortable,” Von Anhalt told the Los Angeles Times . Here’s wishing her comfort in all aspects of her life.

The ab-riffic actor talked with Jimmy Kimmel this week about the enthusiastic mothers that have asked him to sign their underwear (seriously!), while co-star Robert Pattinson appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night and told similar stories. “It’s not just so much the teenage girls,” Robert said of his fan base. “It’s older than people realize and the older ones are the far more passionate fans.” Watch excerpts from the interview now: Robert Pattinson on The Late Show

Michelle Duggar on Having 20 Kids: Not For Everyone!

Michelle Duggar, who is pregnant with her 20th child , has made the understatement of all time, saying having that many kids probably isn’t for everyone. Ya think? With 18 of her 19 kids still at home, one on the way and two grandchildren, how does Michelle get any rest? “I am taking a power nap every day,” she says. “And I’m eating a lot of protein and green vegetables and no caffeine, which is a new thing for me,” says the 45-year old star of 19 Kids and Counting . Michelle and husband Jim Bob Duggar, 46, were believed to have stopped their baby making ways after daughter Josie’s life-threatening preeclampsia. Not the case. “I read up a lot on preeclampsia [while pregnant with Josie],” says Michelle , “It is a crazy, random thing. I have been getting counseled from a high-risk pregnancy doctor in Little Rock and taking good care of myself.” The family’s frightening journey with Josie – born at only 25 weeks and weighing just over a pound in 2009 – was documented on 19 Kids and Counting . Kris Jenner Shows Support for Scott Disick

Following a series of scripted drunken outbursts, Scott Disick has entered therapy . In his attempt to overcome a battle with substance abuse, the douchebag baby daddy of little Mason Dash is now receiving support from an unlikely source: Kris Jenner. Said Scott’s most vocal critic (while, of course, doing publicity for season five of Keeping Up with the Kardashians ): “I think that Scott has really come a long way. My main concern is for my daughter Kourtney and my grandson Mason, and I think Scott had some issues he was really grappling with and has come around.” Jenner even told E! Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar: Planning Baby #20?

Arkansans Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have, obviously, always been open about their intentions to raise children – we’re talking about a lot of children. But the stars of TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting faced near tragedy with their 19th child’s premature birth, leading many observers to conclude that was it. Not so fast. The couple, whose baby Josie Duggar was hospitalized for six months with a perforated bowel and rare digestive problems, are considering a 20th child . “Our family is stronger than ever,” Jim Bob Duggar, 45, and Michelle Duggar, 43, tell People in its new cover story . “We made it through the storm.” That’s not to say it’s an easy call. Born months early after Michelle’s pregnancy-induced high blood pressure, Josie’s life has been in danger throughout. “When she first came home, I couldn’t sleep at all,” Michelle said. “That was the scariest part, the full responsibility of her care on my shoulders.” Similarly daunting are the medical risks Michelle could face with another pregnancy – particularly a return of preeclampsia (high blood pressure), which can lead to a stroke or prove fatal. But the pair vow to stick to their beliefs. “People think we are overpopulating the world,” says Jim Bob, a real estate agent and former Arkansas State Legislature member, in response to critics of his large but debt-free family. “We are following our convictions.” Should Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have a 20th baby?

Josie Duggar Comes Home to the Family

After a harrowing six months in the NICU, Josie Brooklyn Duggar is home. The 19th child if Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar returned to their busy house last week after being born prematurely and fighting for her life ever since. “It is good to be home,” says a laughing Michelle, who set up shop in Little Rock, Ark. “It is surreal to be here. It was such a long time we were away.” Though the baby was released from Arkansas Children’s Hospital in the state’s capital June 3, her homecoming was delayed because of her siblings. Specifically, the 12 of the Duggar children that contracted the chicken pox and had to be separated from her. That’s some contagious stuff right there. Josie Duggar thus spent three more weeks with her mother in a rental house near the hospital until the other children recovered back home with dad. The Duggars are one big, happy and complete family again . Finally, on June 25, mother and child made the over 200-mile road trip from Little Rock to Tontitown, Ark., where the family lives (somehow debt free). They were met by streamers, hand-made “Welcome Home” banners and 17 of Josie’s siblings (oldest son Josh lives on his own with his wife and baby). The last time Michelle was at the Duggar family’s home, they were decorating for the holidays and looking forward to Josie’s expected birth in the spring. But Michelle’s preeclampsia caused an emergency C-section and a dangerous entry into the world for Josie, who was born December 10 at just one pound. The family, whose lives are chronicled on the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting , is now settling into a routine with Josie, now a “chunky” 9 lbs., 1 oz. “She has a double chin now,” she says. “It is so precious.” Welcome home, Josie!
