Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo: MARRIED!!

After a whirlwind courtship even by her family’s standards, Counting On star Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo got married on Saturday. Jinger’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, confirmed the wedding news with a short video on the family’s official website November 5. See their announcement below! Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Wedding Announcement “We are so excited for Jinger and Jeremy …  they just got married and they are such a sweet couple,” proud father Jim Bob said afterward. “Jinger is one of the most dynamic, beautiful, Godly girls that I know, and Jeremy is such a passionate, loving, kind spiritual leader.” “Match made in heaven.” Smiling by her husband’s side as always, Michelle Duggar added in the brief video, “Congratulations, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo!” “We love you guys!”  Jinger’s older sister Jessa Duggar also shared a congratulatory message, posting the Instagram picture above of the smiling newlyweds. “Ahhhhhh! So happy for my sister and brother-in-law! The wedding was beautiful!” Jessa wrote, teasing a photo of the happy spouses. And plugging JingerAndJeremy (dot) com, it would appear. True love is great, but the Duggars are an enterprising bunch, aren’t they? In any event, the couple tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family members at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. The Counting On tandem got engaged in July of this year, just one month after they announced they were officially a courting couple. Jinger and Jeremy’s courtship  raised more than a few eyebrows from the very beginning, given the breakneck pace they were seemingly on. So intense was the talk of the couple going ham and breaking courtship rules that there was even a Jinger Duggar pregnant rumors. That, of course, was bogus. But given that they’re now husband and wife, we would not be shocked if they got around to that promptly. In announcing their engagement this summer, the pair said in a statement, “So excited to share this news that we are now engaged.” “From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship.” “It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days,” Jinger added. “We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together.” At 22, Jinger Duggar Vuolo is the sixth oldest of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 kids, behind Josh, Jana, John David, Jill and Jessa Duggar. Interestingly, twins Jana and John David, 26, are the only two of the six who have not been in a serious relationship (that we know of). Jill and Jessa got married in 2014 and 2015, respectively, and frequently commented on how Jinger’s courtship was fast, and different. The TLC mainstay plans to move from her hometown of Tontitown, Arkansas, to Laredo, Texas, after the wedding to work with Vuolo. An ordained pastor, the former soccer pro has devoted his life to his ministry, something that Jinger’s family undoubtedly approves of. Despite Jim Bob’s ridiculous demands and attempts to control the two, he can’t really complain; Vuolo seems like a stand-up dude. Duggar Kids Respond to Rumors They’re Quitting Reality TV

Earlier this week, several media outlets reported that the Duggar kids are planning to quit reality TV . The family generally doesn’t respond to tabloid rumors, even (or perhaps especially) when they turn out to be true. But in a surprise move, the clan took to their blog yesterday to respond to rumors about their future with TLC. If you follow the family closely you may be aware that advertisers have been fleeing the Duggars in droves ever since news of the first Josh Duggar sex scandal went public. That trend recently led to talk that TLC planned to cut ties with the Duggars, but planned to give the family an opportunity to make a graceful public exit and pretend that the end of the business relationship was their idea. Now, the Duggars say there’s no truth to those rumors, and they don’t foresee any end to their careers as reality stars. Typically, Duggar blog entries are written in the singular first person, with the authors identifying themselves as members of the family, In this case, however, the post read more like a press release from the family’s PR team: “As we approach the eight episode of Counting On , season two, the tabloids are circulating a rumor that the Duggar siblings are quitting reality TV,” the blog reads. “Is it true? Not in the slightest. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children have no plans to leave TLC.” The post went on to promote last night’s episode of Counting On , which featured the start of the trip on which Jeremy Vuolo popped the question to Jinger Duggar. In a sense it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the Duggars remain committed to the medium that made them famous… But in a way, it was somewhat of a bold move for the Duggars to announce that they definitively have no plans to leave the network that made them famous. Now, if their show gets canceled, the family can’t pretend that it was their decision. Of course, even if TLC decides to cut ties, we’re sure the Counting On clan will bounce back. And for all their scandals, the Duggars can still be counted on to deliver at least modest ratings.

Duggar Kids: QUITTING Reality TV?!

Considering how horrific the Josh Duggar sex scandals were, it’s pretty surprising that it was so easy for the Duggar kids to land their own 19 Kids and Counting spin-off. Sure they had to promise that Josh Duggar would never appear on their new series, but they were never forced to issue a public apology, and yet many of their fans proved surprisingly quick to forgive and forget. But the family was never able to re-capture the semi-mainstream appeal that it enjoyed with 19 Kids , and Counting On continues to struggle in the ratings. Even worse (at least for the network execs who will soon decide if the show deserved to be brought back for a third season) the Duggars are scaring off advertisers left and right. In fact, several major corporations have not only pulled their spots from Counting On, but announced that they will no longer advertise on TLC at all . In short, the future’s not looking bright for a show that probably never should’ve existed at all. Perhaps that’s why the Duggar kids are rumored to be seeking out a graceful way to make an exit from the series that was supposed to rebuild their reputations. At least that’s our best guess at why (according to Life & Style ) the kids would be interested in abandoning the only source of income most of them have ever known: Thus far, that cover is all we have to go on. The tabloid is (perhaps wisely) saving the good stuff for its print edition But short of TLC offering the Duggars the chance to make it looks as though they’re walking away of their own accord, why would the kids (several of whom now have kids to raise) choose to part ways with the network that made them famous? Well, there is one other explanation we can think of: It’s possible that yet another scandal has befallen the family, but given how poorly they’ve covered up their recent indiscretions, and how brazenly they’ve attempted to resurrect their careers, we doubt there’s any controversy that could send this family running from the airwaves. Sure they managed to conceal Josh’s sex crimes for over a decade, and it’s unlikely they would’ve been able to sweep it under the rug if they were under the type of public scrutiny they receive these days. Just don’t be surprised if TLC forgets about all of this and gives them another show in two months. They seem to have pretty short memories over there.

Ariel Winter Posts Photos of Butt, Encourages Fans to Do the Same

You may want to sit down before you read any further, because we have some news that’s sure to shock you to your core and make you question everything you thought you knew about existence: Ready? Deep breath: Ariel Winter has a butt . Yes, we know, if you’ve seen Ariel Winter’s Instagram , then you’re well aware that she has a butt, but believe it or not, there are folks out there who don’t follow the Modern Family actress online. They just leave her page sitting there like some sort of digital winning lottery ticket that they can’t be bothered to pick up. Even worse, the all too common breed of anonymous beast known as the Internet Troll frequently pops up on Ariel’s page to shame her for flaunting her awe-inspiring curves for the benefit of her millions of followers. Fortunately, Ms. Winter has no trouble brushing the dirt off her shoulders: “I don’t really think I’m telling myself, ‘You should post this, you shouldn’t post that,’ I feel like I’m just having fun,” Winter recently told Entertainment Tonight . “I like my fans to see what I’m doing.” She says the butt kerfuffle in particular had her baffled: “Everybody is so hyped up on the fact that I post photos where my butt’s out. It’s a butt. Everyone has a butt,” Winter says. “I don’t think it’s crazy. “It’s like, ‘Let me live! I’m enjoying my life, you’re enjoying your life, you should be posting your butt if you like it, too!'” And she has a simple solution for those who don’t like her epic belfies: “I’m not going to fight with someone on my Instagram that tells me they don’t like my outfit or I should put my butt away,” she explains. “I’m sorry you think I should put my butt away, but just unfollow me.” Damn straight, haters. If you don’t like what you see, smash that “unfollow” button. Ariel credits one of her curvy co-stars with giving her the strength to share what she wants to share regardless of what others may think: “I really had the greatest opportunity to have some wonderful role models, especially Sofia Vergara,” Winter shared. “Working with a curvy beautiful woman that everybody looked up to and loved the way she looked… that was my inspiration to move forward and accept myself because that’s what matters.” Importantly, in this same interview, Ariel confirms that she’s single , having recently split with boyfriend Claude Gaudette. “I’ve just kinda like been single for a little while now,” Winter said. “I’ve enjoyed it, and if something happens, it happens.” So there you have it. Counting On Preview: Jinger Duggar In Love! Jeremy Vuolo Proposes!

It's all happening for Jinger Duggar. The 26-year-old (Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's sixth oldest child of 19), has been courting former pro soccer player Jeremy Vuolo, 28.   The couple, who got engaged on July 25th , had been introduced by Jinger's brother-in-law, Ben Seewald in May 2015. In a new preview for Counting On  (below) the Duggars at first seem skeptical of Vuolo. Jessa Seewald, 23, initially thougth Vuolo was messing with her younger sister's heart. “I thought, 'This guy — surely he has another girl already,'” she confessed. “But we'd found out that he didn't!” Vuolo appears to be a very sincere, very kind guy.  Over coffee with Jim Bob, Vuolo asked for permission to court Jinger.   “I just wanted to speak with you about having the opportunity to court your daughter,” Vuolo said nervously.   Jim Bob gave the athlete a blank stare, which either indicated he didn't approve, or proved there's not a lot happening in that procreation-lovin' brain of his. TLC knows that viewers are most interested in the courtship (“I am completely in love,” Jinger gushed during an interview), but there's also a small focus on Jill and Derick Dillard, who are grappling with bringing another child into the world due to their work in Central America. “We are hoping to have a child in the near future,” Jill said. “There are a lot of dangerous realities that do come with living in a place like Central America,” Derrick admitted. “You know, kidnapping, rape, murder. Those are realities here everyone has to face on a daily basis.  It's a lot different from back home in Arkansas.” What Derick failed to mention was the threat of Zika virus, an epidemic that is spreading wildly throughout the Americas.  The virus is known to cause a severe defect in newborns, and experts have not yet found a vaccine. Anyhoo, courtships and engagements!  That's what the Duggars do!   A new season of Counting On premieres August 23rd at 8 p.m. on TLC.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar: Already Separated?!

For several weeks now, rumors that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are getting divorced have been circulating online. Life & Style was among the first to report that the parents of the 19 Kids and Counting clan had officially called it quits, but sources offered the tabloid a variety of explanations. The most memorable was that Michelle had caught Jim Bob cheating. That one seemed rather unlikely, if only because Jim Bob would have to be some sort of Arkansan James Bond to get away with an affair in the Duggar’s small-town. Sure, Josh Duggar got away with a lot worse, but he had his parents’ help in concealing his crimes. Jim Bob allegedly acted alone in his affair. As you may have heard, Michelle reportedly took the whole situation much harder than Jim Bob did. In fact, some insiders have claimed that Josh is “dead” to Michelle and the matriarch has had little to no contact with her disgraced son in the weeks since he returned from rehab for his addictions to sex and pornography. Jim Bob reportedly believes Michelle’s being too hard on Josh (as though that’s possible), and sources say the couple fought about the matter non-stop for several months. “They rarely argue, but this one was a doozy,” said one insider. “[Jim Bob] argued about putting family first and how Michelle needed to move on and put things in the past, and she stood her ground and said she was putting family first by being cautious.” Now, L&S is claiming that the couple is secretly separated (within the confines of the Duggar Compound, of course) and doing all they can to hide the decision from their media … and even from their kids. Duggar Family Endorses Frozen Yogurt Shop, Gets SLAMMED on Social Media

How hated is the Duggar family these days? So hated that they can’t even get ice cream without becoming the subjects of unwanted attention on social media. Okay, so it’s actually frozen yogurt that lured the Jim Bob, Michelle and Jinger out of the Duggar compound over the weekend, but the reaction to the above photo was still downright frigid. As you can see, the Duggars were joined by Jinger’s new boyfriend, Jeremy Vuolo , when they stopped by Sweet Loring Frozen Yogurt in Laredo, Texas. No word on what brought the Dugz to the streets of Laredo, but they seem to be more or less constantly on tour these days. Anyway, the owner of the shop posted the pic on Facebook and Twitter, along with a “huge shoutout” to the Duggar clan. That’s when all hell broke loose. Jeremy got his first taste of life as a member of the Duggar clan when social media commenters asked for extra nuts on their two scoops of Duggar hate.
