If you don’t know who the hell this Micaela Schaefer is, don’t worry about it, I don’t think anybody does, but she might just be the sexiest DJ to ever pretend to spin the turntables. Obviously I don’t know if she’s actually a DJ, she’s probably just some half naked hot chick who finally figured out how to use an iPod , but she’s a half naked hottie walking around a club and that’s good enough for me. Selena Gomez is joining the young vampire craze. And the actress is taking over for pal Miley Cyrus in order to do it. A rep for Adam Sandler has confirmed to E! News that Gomez will replace Miley in Hotel Transylvania , an animated feature in which Sandler will voice the operator of a high-end resort that caters to vampires, and who freaks out when a boy finds the locale and falls for the Count’s teen-aged daughter. She’ll be played by Selena. Other characters in Hotel Transylvania will be voiced by Andy Samberg, Cee Lo Green and Kevin James. The film is scheduled for a September release. MTV’s legendary hidden-camera show will re-launch with rotating cast of guest hosts on March 29 at 10 p.m. ET. By Gil Kaufman “Punk’d Photo: MTV One of MTV’s most beloved series, “Punk’d,” is gearing up for a fresh round of hidden-camera celebrity gotchas when it re-launches next month with a whole new look and feel. The prank show from mastermind/ executive producer Ashton Kutcher, which originally aired from 2003 to 2007, will hit the air at 10 p.m. ET on March 29 as part of a new hour-long block of original programming that will also include a “Jersey Shore” spin-off show entitled, “The Pauly D Project.” Check out the 15 most memorable moments from the original “Punk’d” show here. While Kutcher enjoyed taking down his pals and unsuspecting celebrities last time, the 2.0 version of “Punk’d” will feature a rotating cast of celebrity hosts each week. Among those lined up to fill the “Two and a Half Men” star’s shoes are: Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Hayden Panettiere, Bam Margera and “Punk’d” alum Dax Shepard, among others. You know, the thought of Miley Cyrus out walking the streets in a little lingerie type top and some denim short shorts sounds good on paper, but I’m not sure I’m digging it. Mom jean short shorts just don’t seem to do it for me. Actually, now that I’ve examined these shots a little more thoroughly, I don’t give a crap about the high waste, what was I thinking? This is like a 80′s hair band rock video chick. She should be washing a car or putting on some hot pink lipstick in super slow motion. Hot.
Miley Cyrus has gone very public with her defense of gay marriage. In July of last year, the singer got a tattoo (below) on her finger that she posted on Twitter, along with the caption “All LOVE is Equal.” She got a lot of flak for the move, criticism she’s now responding to via an editorial in Glamor . “A lot of people mocked me,” Miley writes. “They said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.'” Cyrus is speaking out now on the topic, she says, due to the “unnecessary threats” leveled at both her and her supporters. She adds: “I believe every American should be allowed the same rights and civil liberties. Without legalized same-sex marriage, most of the time you cannot share the same health benefits, you are not considered next of kin and you are not granted the same securities as a heterosexual couple. How is this different than having someone sit in the back of the bus because of their skin color?” It’s just not right , Miley concludes of the argument that homosexual couples are somehow held to a different standard than heterosexual couples. “We all should be tolerant of one another and embrace our differences,” she writes. No doubt Cyrus will fall under fire once again for making her beliefs on this controversial subject well known, which is exactly why we admire her so much for doing so.
