Miley Cyrus has millions of fans around the globe. We just didn’t think a middle-aged disc jockey known for his extreme views and penchant for lesbians was among them. He initially made a joke about Miley basically stripping off all her clothes on stage, but then admitted that he’s a fan of both this 18-year old artist and Lady Gaga . Stern said he’s even Googled Cyrus recently. And, yes, he knows how dirty that sounds… Howard Stern Interview

Miley Cyrus to Anchor Supernatural Thriller?

Posted on January 12, 2011 by Benny Hollywood| Leave a comment

The movie offers continue to come in for Miley Cyrus. First, her mother reportedly optioned the rights for a music video to be made into a feature-length film. Now, the screenwriter behind Disturbia and Paranormal Activity 2 has said in a new interview that he hopes to work with Cyrus on “Wake,” a big screen version of Lisa McMann’s book series. “It’s sort of a vehicle for Miley Cyrus,” Landon says. “She is looking to sort of get out of her cutesy Hannah Montana image… She wanted to do something a little edgier and a little darker, so we’re making this movie hopefully… It’s about a teenage girl who has a rare form of narcalepsy. When she’s within a certain distance of someone sleeping, she passes out and goes into their dreams.” Landon says there’s “definitely a spooky element to it.” Cyrus has made it clear she hopes to be taken seriously as a movie actress. She just finished filming LOL with Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.

Now it seems the project is well under way. E! News reports that Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, has been meeting with Suzanne Todd — a producer on films such as “Alice in Wonderland,” the “Austin Powers” films and “Memento” — to turn the music video into a full-length feature. Sources tell the website Miley is looking to reprise her role to pick up where her ghostly character left off. There’s no word yet if Kevin Zegers will return to the project. Rock Mafia’s Antonina Armato tweeted about the project, for which her team would reportedly help write the script. “Just had a Meeting with Tish Cyrus and Suzanne Todd for ‘Big Bang’ To be made into a Movie!!! #fingerscrossed,” she tweeted Monday. A rep for the group did not respond to MTV News’ request for more information by press time. Armato said the film will be “epic.” Regarding the “Big Bang” music video, James gave props to Miley and Zegers for their turn as star-crossed lovers. “The whole idea was to do something different,” he explained. “[The director] had such a cool vision for it … the vision was to let it fly, let the chemistry speak for itself. When we were watching them shoot it, we were like, ‘Wow, this is going to be really cool.’ “Kevin and [Miley] both brought their real acting game to it. … The chemistry is not by accident. Are Miley Cyrus And Nick Jonas Recording A Duet Album?

Posted on January 7, 2011 by Benny Hollywood| Leave a comment

Cyrus producer Shakur Green reportedly tweets that the exes are working on a joint LP. By Jocelyn Vena Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas Photo: Rob Hoffman/JBE/Getty Images In 2009, Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus released the breakup ballad “Before the Storm.” The track, which was recorded after the two had split and right before they briefly reconciled, was featured on the Jonas Brothers album Lines, Vines and Trying Times. Now, it seems that the duo might be trying to make that magic happen again. Music producer Shakur Green, who worked with Cyrus on her Time of Our Lives EP, tweeted that he’s heading into the studio to work with the teen stars. “Returning to the studio w/ Miley Cyrus & Nick Jonas on 1/14,” he wrote in tweets posted on the AnythingDisney blog , which gained access to the producer’s protected Twitter account. “Can’t release any additional information about the project other then it’s going to be one of the top albums of 2011,” he added. “We’re only recording 7-10 records. She has other producers she working with besides myself!” Although he kept the details somewhat scarce, he did reveal one major piece to the puzzle: “I will share this info: It’s going to be a double disk duet album!” A rep for the stars hadn’t responded to MTV News’ request for comment by press time. Cyrus did join the boys onstage for one show in June 2009 to play “Before the Storm.” At the time, when MTV News caught up with Nick, he expressed how much he really loved the song. ” ‘Before the Storm’ is probably one of my favorite songs on the record,” Nick said. “I think it’s probably one of my favorite songs because it has a great story to it. It’s a duet with Miley, which is great.” What do you think about Miley and Nick possibly teaming up for a whole album? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Miley Cyrus Jonas Brothers

The Biebs and Selena sucking face!

Posted on January 3, 2011 by | Leave a comment

Justin Bieber Selena Gomez kissing photos Well if you didn’t believe that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were teeny boppin’ smoochers, the proof is in these pictures recently posted by ONTD . Over the New Year’s weekend, the two kids were said to be spotted kissing aboard a private yacht in the Caribbean. And we are hearing that things got pretty damn steamy between the mop-topped crooner and the Wizards of Waverly Place actress. Oh and in case you weren’t up late enough to see Biebs serenade Selena on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve special, we have that here to twist the knife a bit deeper. We’ve got the deets below. As they celebrated the new year together, Just Jared is reporting that the couple could not keep their hands off one another. Apparently Selena is more than just “amazing” in Bieber’s book. As I look at these photos, I feel kind of like a pedophile. I wonder if Selena feels the same?
