Louis Tomlinson has gone ahead and pulled a Justin Bieber. Allegedly. We don’t mean that the One Direction crooner has posed shirtless on Instagram or whined about how his fans don’t let him wax poetic about life on stage. Instead, we mean that Tomlinson actually got arrested on Friday night for an alleged attack against a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. The incident took place at the airport baggage area. According to TMZ insiders, the 25-year old star was with his occasional girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, when he got into a confrontation with the unnamed paparazzo. These sources claim that Tomlinson responded to the photographer’s aggression by pulling the alleged victim to the floor by his legs. The man fell backwards and hit his back and head on the floor. Tomlinson, who has just touched down after a flight from Las Vegas, was subsequently placed under misdemeanor citizen’s arrest. A female witness, meanwhile, started recording Calder as she attempted to leave the vicinity. The two women allegedly then got into a physical altercation themselves. In response to the allegations, Tomlinson’s lawyer, Martin Singer, told the media: “The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis. “It’s not the first time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity.” “While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defense.” The singer was taken into police custody just after midnight and released after an hour after posting a $20,000 bond, official records prove. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month. Tomlinson and Calder dated for four years before they broke up in 2015. They fueled reconciliation rumors last month after they interacted a few times on Instagram. Neither has not commented on the status of their relationship nor on what transpired at LAX. It is not believed that Calder was arrested for her actions. We’ll update this story with more news as it breaks. The important thing to remember, however, is that no hair on Tomlinson’s very handsome head was permanently damaged in any way as a result of the confrontation.
