Why Scientist Don’t Believe In A Fiery Hell After Death. (What Is Fire) ?

BREAKING NEWS: Hell is not real. You are not going to burn after you die. If we go anywhere after death, we go there without our atoms, and when the religious crooks and liars try hard to keep the fear in you, it's like a test. Is your mind strong enough to see through it ? If someone tells you that you are going to burn in hell, then you demonstrate that you understand exactly what fire is, I guarantee that they will then tell you that the fire in hell is not like real fire. ‘Machete’: Everything You Need To Know

Get all of the bloody facts about Robert Rodriguez’s action-packed Mexploitation flick! By Kara Warner Jessica Alba in “Machete” Photo: Twentieth Century Fox At long last! “Machete” is here and ready to blow your mind with every minute of its bloody, action-packed, sexy, slice-and-dicey good times. In brief, the story revolves around Machete (Danny Trejo), an ex-Federale who gets caught up in an assassination plot for which he is framed and must seek vengeance. We’ve been following this zany, violent, Mexploitation romp since its humble beginnings as a mock trailer attached to 2007’s “Grindhouse.” To celebrate its long-awaited arrival in theaters on Friday (September 3), here is everything you need to know about “Machete.” In 2007, Robert Rodriguez unleashed the fake trailer in front of “Grindhouse.” It was met with raucous applause and fan demands for a full-length feature. The Internet rumor mill kicked into high gear, with rumblings of a direct-to-DVD release . At SXSW , Rodriguez announced his plans to go ahead with the full-blown feature. In the months that followed, the “Machete” cast was revealed. A script review later popped up online , as did pleas from the future star himself, Danny Trejo , who asked the Weinsteins to put up the cash so that filming could begin. Ask and ye shall receive! Production began in fall ’09, details of which Rodriguez teased at that year’s Comic-Con . From that point on, whenever MTV News found ourselves in the presence of one of the film’s stellar castmembers, we peppered them for details about the film, which yielded Trejo’s comments about his first day on set and a brief exchange with Jessica Alba during which she weighed in on action-movie hero Steven Seagal. It’s worth mentioning that Alba also talked about how she’d be playing identical twins in the film, which somehow was lost in translation and changed at some point during filming, because Alba plays just one role — that of a sexy immigration officer. In early July, we got our hands and eyes on the first “Machete” trailer which, as we expected, was every bit as gritty and ballsy as Rodriguez’s original. Shortly thereafter, the cast descended upon the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con with a flurry of activities that included a fun-filled panel and a parking-lot party where Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez served up tacos from a truck. Director Rodriguez and Trejo also stopped by our Comic-Con livestream where they praised co-star Lindsay Lohan’s performance in “Machete.” Much closer to the film’s release, MTV News attended its press day and spoke once again with Rodriguez, Trejo, Alba and (Michelle) Rodriguez. Some of the best discussions to come out of that day centered on the always hot topic of onscreen nudity . First, Rodriguez revealed his tricks of the trade, and then lovely leading ladies Alba and Rodriguez discussed the art of post-production nipple addition. Finally, we hit up a special screening of the film in downtown L.A., at which the cast and crew arrived in shiny, tricked-out lowriders. There, we learned who each star would want by their side in a “Machete”-style revolution and got well-wishes for their recently released from rehab colleague, Lindsay Lohan . From the saucy Jessica Alba in “Little Fockers” to James Franco’s grueling journey in “127 Hours,” the MTV Movies team is delving into the hottest flicks of fall 2010. Check back daily for exclusive clips, photos and interviews with the films’ biggest stars. Jessica Alba Calls Her ‘Little Fockers’ Character ‘Totally Crazy’

‘I play a pharmaceutical sales rep who is very, um, outgoing,’ Alba tells MTV News of the Ben Stiller/ Robert De Niro comedy. By Kara Warner Jessica Alba in “Little Fockers” Photo: Paramont In addition to kicking butt in Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete,” Jessica Alba is also appearing among the star-studded cast of “Little Fockers,” the third installment in the franchise that features Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro playing out their often awkward son-in-law vs. overprotective father-in-law relationship. “I play a pharmaceutical sales rep who is very, um, outgoing and has no sense of personal space,” Alba recently told MTV News. She hinted that her character might inadvertently try to get a little too close to Stiller’s lovable Gaylord Focker. “She says exactly what’s on her mind and she has no filter at all,” the actress explained. “She was really fun because I’m pretty much the opposite of that.” Alba admitted that keeping a straight face on set was a big challenge, since most of her scenes were with funnyman Ben Stiller. Still, she had a blast, she said, particularly with her character’s freewheeling ways. “It was just fun and pretty liberating to play someone who was just so open and so free and totally crazy.” “Little Fockers” is set a few months after the events of the last installment, “Meet the Fockers,” as Stiller and Teri Polo’s parents-to-be busily prepare for baby. Producer Jay Roach told MTV News earlier this year that Stiller’s attempt to remain calm is thwarted by a familiar face (and former nemesis). “It’s Owen Wilson coming back with a new passion for Ben’s wife, Teri Polo,” Roach said. “And of course it’s hidden and it’s all under the surface, but it causes a lot of new wrinkles in the relationship between all of them,” the producer explained. In addition to Alba and Wilson, “Fockers” will also feature Dustin Hoffman in the role of Stiller’s father opposite Barbra Streisand, an addition to the cast that was only recently made due to the film reportedly coming in under budget. “Little Fockers” is due in theaters December 22. From the saucy Jessica Alba in “Little Fockers” to James Franco’s grueling journey in “127 Hours,” the MTV Movies team is delving into the hottest flicks of fall 2010. CNBC’s Najarian: Drilling Moratorium ‘Shows a Tone-Deafness From This Administration’

With a 9.6 percent unemployment rate overall in the United States and unemployment rates showing an uptick in states on the Gulf of Mexico that allow offshore oil drilling, one has to wonder what the Obama administration is thinking its Draconian wide-sweeping moratorium halting deepwater drilling in the Gulf after the BP oil spill. While environmentalists are using today’s explosion on a oil production platform in the Gulf to support a drilling moratorium, critics like CNBC’s “Fast Money” panelist Jon Najarian have questioned the wisdom of the Obama administration’s decision to put up to 75,000 in limbo. “As far as what was going on in the Gulf, it shows a tone-deafness from this administration ,” Najarian said on the Sept. 2 broadcast of “Fast Money.” “I mean, I’ll pound the table for that because I’m not running for office. But I mean, this guy is tone deaf that 75,000 jobs in the Gulf of Mexico that have been idled for no good reason . It’s costing all of us and it costs all the places where they would normally spend money as well.” On Sept. 2, a federal judge denied the federal government’s request to dismiss a lawsuit challenging that moratorium. The 75,000 jobs number is a figure backed up by the Dr. Lee Hunt, president of the International Association of Drilling Contractors. In a May 13 letter to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar , Hunt warned then the ban would eventually impact that many job in the Gulf Coast states. “Due to the Department’s order, rigs completing wells in the next weeks will be unable to take on new work,” Hunt wrote. “Over the next six weeks, up to 50 drilling rigs will complete wells and be unable to accept new work. These rigs will be idled, and those employees working directly on the rig face the prospect of unemployment, even if only temporarily. Additionally, employees of supporting service companies will also face unemployment. These workers represent a significant portion of the 75,000 hard-working individuals employed in the offshore Gulf of Mexico. The ripple effects of this abeyance of all new drilling will adversely impact coastal communities across Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama.”

Matthews to Dem Candidate: I Hope Your Party Gets Organized and Wins This Thing!

It’s no secret that Chris Matthews once flirted with the idea of  running for Senate in Pennsylvania , but since he didn’t throw his hat into that race, the Hardball host, on Thursday night, did everything he could to help Joe Sestak beat Republican Pat Toomey, as he urged: “I hope your party gets organized up there, because the Democratic Party of Ed Rendell and you and all those other guys ought to get together with Brady and win this thing!” And even before Matthews invited viewers to “Meet Joe Sestak” in an interview segment, the MSNBCer began cheerleading for him in a preview as he teased: “Up next, Joe Sestak from my home state of Pennsylvania, he’s fighting hard, the good fight against Pat Toomey, the Club for Growther of the far right.” The following exchanges were aired on the September 2 edition of Hardball: CHRIS MATTHEWS: Congressman Joe Sestak pulled off a big upset back in May when he beat Arlen Specter, he had been senator forever in Pennsylvania, in that primary. Sestak may need another upset come November. He faces a tough political climate up there. Pat Toomey, the Club for Growther of the far right is averaging a six-point gain on him right now in the latest pollsters average poll. Congressman Sestak joins right now us now. You know Pennsylvania, as you know, I’m talking to an expert, it’s a purple state. It’s somewhere in the middle. It’s a John Wayne state. It’s not a far right or far left state. How come Toomey is doing well when he’s on the far right side? What is going on? Isn’t he a [Rick] Santorum type? … MATTHEWS: Let me ask you about the support from the establishment up there. You beat the heck out of these people. You took the money people in big Philly. You took the machine, such as it was, on that day, it could be more interested, I think, on general election day and you beat the heck out of them. You pulled the biggest upset. Are those guys still mad at you for beating, the underdog, for beating their guy Specter? JOE SESTAK: I’m told they’re all gonna be there. A lot of them are gone for pre-Labor Day. And they’re gonna be there right after Labor Day. Look, I’m not going to depend upon that. You know we raised close to $2 million in four weeks, right after the election. We’re out there working every day. But more than that, I am going to help leverage those centers of excellence. I also have over 25 offices open, 25,000 phone calls a day since 1 January. We’re gonna build a warfare coalition just like those 30 ships I had when I was a Navy admiral, doing the retaliatory strikes off Afghanistan, working together. But I also want you to know this Chris. I’m also focused on moderate Republicans and independents. I think when they find how extreme Congressman Toomey is, I mean if you liked Rick Santorum, you’re gonna love Pat Toomey. MATTHEWS: How is he extreme? Give me some examples! I know I asked about the steel industry a while ago and he said basically he’s a free marketer, “Let it rot! Don’t do anything. The government has no responsibility to save industries that are in trouble.” What’s your view and what’s wrong with his? SESTAK: Well let me tell you, in his book he calls it “creative destruction.” It’s okay that we have China subsidizing their exports because it’ll have creative destruction in America where people will be unemployed, but they’ll find a job somewhere else. You know zero, zero taxes for corporations where you don’t have to pay for it. Look when he was in Hong Kong, working for a Hong Kong billionaire, he actually worked on those currency swaps that helped China keep down over the years those, the, the value of, of the, the wan. And so we have, as someone who believes “benefit big business, benefit Wall Street and wealth might trickle down.” Look he actually believed, when he was on the Small Business committee, he slashed in half the small business budget. He voted against studies for women to find out why are they’re only getting two percent of all federal contracts supposed to go to small businesses? He just voted against that. Time after time, whether its education. Here’s Philadelphia, you talk about a challenge in Philadelphia? Only about 28 percent of African-American males are graduating from high school there. And Chris it’s only 33 percent of whites. And so I’m on the Education committee. This is about the common good. And he helped slash the education budget by $3 billion and voted against Pell Grants. He, what he did when he was president and this is the worst, I think. When he was president of Club for Growth — and I like Pat, I’ve had a beer with him — but when he was president of Club for Growth which John McCain called “a grab bag for the ultra rich,”when he was president he actually had as his principle mission purging the Republican Party of moderates and went after Senator Lincoln Chafee and others. MATTHEWS: I know. SESTAK: In my mind we don’t need an ideology, we need someone who is willing to work. MATTHEWS: Is he a right winger? Is he a right winger? Is he a right winger? SESTAK: He, he’s farther from the right wing. Yes he’s much, he’s extreme. Look… MATTHEWS: Okay let me ask you, let’s talk, let’s talk turkey, Admiral, Congressman. I mean you deserve both titles. You’ve earned them. Let me ask you this. Are you gonna get Bill Clinton in there? It seems to me that if you look at Southwestern Pennsylvania, if you look at anywhere in that state, among the African-American community, which has been hammered with unemployment. They, if they had the jobs that the Irish guys had, in the neighborhoods I grew up in today, they’d be unbelievably middle class. They’d be in such a great shape. Those jobs are gone, those steel jobs. Let me ask you. Are you gonna bring Bill Clinton in there? Because, it seems to me, he would be even better than the President, to help you in Pennsylvania? SESTAK: Yes. Yeah he’s already come in for Scranton. Great rally. Unfortunately I was down in Washington for the good business of voting for that EFNEP bill that Congressman Toomey opposed and would have had 12,000 Pennsylvanians… MATTHEWS: Well you gonna bring him back? SESTAK: …if we hadn’t passed it. Absolutely. Actually I was talking with them the other day and they just wanted to know what days. They tell me I’m their top priority and I’m gonna keep working on that. So, I hope to see him out there a lot. MATTHEWS: Well I hope your party, I hope your party gets organized up there, because the Democratic Party of Ed Rendell and you and all those other guys ought to get together with Brady and win this thing! Anyway, thank you Congressman Joe Sestak, running for Pennsylvania senator.

Chris Matthews Rips Obama’s Teleprompter: ‘I Think It’s His Menace’

Chris Matthews on Wednesday laid into Barack Obama’s teleprompter calling it “his menace.” Near the end of a “Hardball” segment about the President’s prime time address to the nation Tuesday, the host said, “If he doesn’t get rid of that damn teleprompter…He’s just reading words now.” Matthews continued, “It’s separating him from us.” And continued, “You go to a meeting with him I’m told, businessmen are invited to meet him at the White House, he hauls out the damn teleprompter, and he reads it to them.” “The teleprompter is a problem for this guy. I think it’s his menace” (video follows with partial transcript and commentary): CHRIS MATTHEWS: You know, sometimes I really support the President in a lot of his views, in fact all of them almost. But I have to tell you, Michael, if he doesn’t get rid of that damn teleprompter, it’s like an eye test. He’s just reading words now. It’s separating him from us. Your thoughts. You go to a meeting with him I’m told, businessmen are invited to meet him at the White House, he hauls out the damn teleprompter, and he reads it to them. Well, why even bring people into the room, just have the teleprompter. I sense it’s getting between him and us and I thought that speech last night was a terrible, well a great example rather, of him using the teleprompter instead of his heart and his mind. He was reading words to us that any president could have written, had written for him and delivered. The teleprompter is a problem for this guy. I think it’s his menace. Imagine that. Obama’s been dragging TOTUS to speeches – regardless of how short – for over nineteen months, and Matthews is just starting to notice? Makes you wonder if the “Hardball” host would be expressing such concerns about TOTUS if POTUS’s poll numbers weren’t plummeting.

The Situation Hasn’t Met ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Partner

‘We might try to implement the fist-pumping for the first episode,’ Karina Smirnoff tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino Photo: Andrew H. Walker/ Getty Images While most of the other couples are already prepping for the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars,” there are two dancers who have yet to even meet. Karina Smirnoff and “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino haven’t even spoken to each other yet, but Smirnoff is sure they will have a lot to catch up on when he does eventually make it to rehearsals sometime later this month. “I’m excited and nervous and I have all these weird emotions, but I’m mostly excited,” Smirnoff told MTV News on Wednesday (September 1). “I think were literally the only couple who will only have about five days to get ready for the premiere on national television. Everyone else is going to have three and half weeks. We’re gonna have maybe five days, so that part I’m very nervous about. I know I have to be very clever in the choreography, because five days is just not enough. Even if you’re a professional dancer, it would be really, really tough to get ready. So we might try to implement the fist-pumping for the first episode.” Smirnoff joked that she thinks that the Situation’s only dancing experience is in Seaside Heights nightclubs, so she knows it’s going to take some creative solutions on her end to make him look like a professional dancer. “Once I meet him for the first time, whenever he’s here, that would be literally the first time I see him [and] I speak to him [and] I have any kind of contact with him, so leading up to that, I will try to create, like, variations, little pieces of choreography,” she explained. “It’s trial and error.” And if fans think Sorrentino will just be showing up shirtless week after week, Smirnoff is hoping they can show a new side of the TV star. “I was thinking, again, it’s all about seeing where his mind is. If that was up to me, we all know Mike as Mike ‘The Situation’ from ‘Jersey Shore,’ so I think it’d be nice to still have Mike as Mike that we know, but also show some more insight into him wearing a tuxedo, wearing something we’ve never seen. I hope we’re able to give different sides of Mike. “He looks like he’s in great physical shape, and that’s a plus and a minus,” she said. “I don’t know if Michael is ready, but he’s going to be stretched out to his limits, physically speaking.” Will you be rooting for the Situation on “Dancing With the Stars”?
