Lana Del Rey sang at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s rehearsal dinner , performing her hit “Young and Beautiful,” which is reportedly a favorite of Kim’s. No surprise that Kim loves a ditty about outer beauty, what is surprising is that despite rumors that Lana received a massive payday fro the event, the singer claims she actually performed for free! Lana Del Rey Talks Kimye Wedding TMZ cameras caught up with Lana at LAX recently where she politely explained that there’s no truth to reports that she received $2.8 million to singe for Kimye.  “I would never let a friend pay me to sing at a wedding,” says Lana in the clip above. So if you’re getting hitched in the near future, just become “friends” with Lana on Facebook and then send her a request to perform on your big day. Hurry, before she changes her mind! Despite her graciousness in agreeing to jet all over Europe for the Kimye wedding, Lana did not perform for Mr. and Mrs West’s first dance as a married couple.  That honor went to John Legend who performed his sentimental hit “All of Me” for the occasion. So yeah, not one, but two of the biggest recording artists in the world crooned for the Kimye wedding weekend for no other reason than they wanted to honor their friends. Cressida Bonas has reportedly broken up with Prince Harry. Is it all over for William’s brother and the gorgeous young woman many thought would be his wife? The same day as Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrate their third anniversary, reports of Harry’s romance in ruins have hit celebrity news outlets. But are they legitimate? That’s far from clear. What we do know is that earlier this year, it seemed like Cressida Bonas was a sure thing to marry Harry at best, or moving in that direction at worst. Harry was moving her gently into his royal circles and it appeared that an engagement announcement would be happening eventually, if not immediately. In recent weeks, however, things have cooled off. Why? Speculation increased that Harry’s friends were warning him about Cressida because of her immaturity and apparent reticence against the royal family. Now “sources” claim Harry and Cressida are over: “The pair apparently decided to go their separate ways after [Cressie] told Harry that she doesn’t want to marry into the royal family, according to tabloid reports.” “Harry wants to settle down and get married just like his brother, Prince William. New Jersey teen Derek “Derk” Ritschel’s promposal to friend Gina was Pitch Perfect ! Derek’s A Capella Promposal with The Whiptones Derk, a member of an  a capella  doo-wop group called The Whiptones, enlisted his friends’ help for the promposal. While Gina was hanging out with friends, the guys, dressed in 50s-style leather jackets surprised her with a song. Their rendition of the The Cadillacs’ “My Girlfriend” was personalized for the occasion which only made the sentiment sweeter, and now they have a marketing strategy to help other would-be askers so they don’t have to go it alone. For a small fee, you can rent The Whiptones as your very own singing promposal delivery service and they’ll help you ask her (or him, it’s 2014 after all) to the big dance. A new forecast makes it look like Kimye’s April Vogue issue will set an all-time sales record for the publication, as it will likely sell nearly 500,000 copies. Ain’t nothin’ gonna hold her down! Not 50 pounds of butter and not a career-crushing scandal! Paula Deen is back! (At least in her mind.) The celebrity chef is kicking off a 20-city live show tour this summer with stops so far planned for Savannah, Atlanta, Nashville, and San Antonio. The show will feature a live cooking demonstration, butter, musical chairs, butter, an audience-participation dating game, and more butter. “That’s the excitement of it all — my fans get to be part of the show,” Deen said. Deen’s comeback attempt is nearly a year after her career was nearly ended following allegations of racism in the restaurants she owned and her own admission of using a racial slur.  Deen apologized on both the Today show and in People Magazine, and in the same interview compared herself to football player Michael Sam who came out as gay in 2013. “I feel like ’embattled’ or ‘disgraced’ will always follow my name. It’s like that black football player who recently came out,” she said. “He said, ‘I just want to be known as a football player. I don’t want to be known as a gay football player.’ I know exactly what he’s saying.” Because nothing says “I get it” like comparing your privileged white self to a gay football player  who also happens to be black .
