Trump Secret Service Agent Says She Won’t Defend The President Man…even Trump’s bodyguards are on some “not my president” mentality . One of President Trump’s secret service agents publicly declared that if anything pops off to threaten the new Commander in Chief…she pretty much plans to step back and let it occur, since she was here for Hillary anyway . According to TMZ , she was so bold in her claims that she went so far as to post it on FB: The senior agent from the Denver field office went on a Facebook rant that has since been deleted … confessing she was rooting for Hillary and would take jail over a bullet for the new POTUS. The agent wrote, “But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.” Secret Service agents aren’t even legally permitted to speak on their personal political beliefs publicly…so that jail time she spoke of might just be coming more quickly than she imagined. It’s only been seven months since we first learned that Iggy Azalea and French Montana were dating , but it looks like the couple has already called it quits. It’s surprising in the sense that French and Iggy were talking marriage at one point, But it’s less surprising when you consider the rappers tumultuous romantic histories. Iggy dumped Nick Young just a few months before making her relationship with French social media official. It certainly wasn’t her fault that the engagement failed, as Nick boasted about cheating on her in a video posted online by his Los Angeles Lakers teammate, D’Angelo Russell. Breaking it off with Nick was unquestionably the right thing to do, but with the benefit of hindsight, it seems clear that Iggy’s next relationship wouldn’t have much of a chance. Rebounds are always rough, and French and Iggy’s situation was exacerbated by a number of factors: They moved too fast; they were both fresh from serious relationships, and the whole situation was playing out in the public eye. Iggy’s not a massive star at this point – in fact, she seems destined to serve as a punchline on some future I Love Whaterver the Hell We’re Gonna Call the First half of This Decade episode – but her breakup was the stuff of tabloid legend. In addition to the cheating boast, Young got his ex pregnant while he was still with Iggy. She took to social media to say that even that wasn’t the final straw, and she only broke off the engagement after she saw security camera footage of Nick bringing other women back to their apartment. So you would think that French Montana – who allegedly cheated on Khloe Kardashian – wouldn’t be Iggy’s first choice when it came time to re-enter the dating pool. There’s no word yet on what caused Montana and Azalea to call it quits, but not suriprisingly, the leading theory is that French was caught cheating. Spurring the speculation is the fact that Iggy moved on with the quickness, already allegedly hooking up with 19-year-old hip hop producer LJay Currie. The pair was spotted getting handsy with one another in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend. We’re fine with Iggy finding herself a new dude so quickly – we’re just hoping the fact that he’s a producer doesn’t mean she has more music on the way.
Back in November, Selena Gomez left rehab after receiving nearly two months of in-patient treatment. There’s disagreement about the reasons behind her stint in the Tennessee facility, but regardless of what prompted her to seek helps, the consensus in the therapeutic community is that the singer is still in an extremely vulnerable spot. Perhaps that’s why Selena’s fans, friends, and family are so concerned by the news that the young singer is dating The Weeknd . You don’t have to be up on the latest tabloid drama surrounding The Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye) to know that the wildly talented 26-year-old is frequently associated with clubbing and hard drug use. Tesfaye’s biggest hit, 2015’s “Can’t Feel My Face” is basically an extended cocaine metaphor, and while he’s reportedly scaled back the partying in recent years, he’s also coyly admitted that some of his vices remain. It’s not hard to see why many of her loved ones feel that Selena’s relationship with The Weeknd is poorly timed, at best. “Some of Selena’s close friends and family want to stage an intervention before it’s too late,” a source close to the 24-year-old pop star told Radar. “They fear that this is going to end well.” The source adds that Selena’s inner circle has made an effort to convince her to hold off on the relationship until she’s in a more stable place in her life. Thus far, it seems their pleas are falling on deaf ears: “Everyone has tried to step in at different points in Selena’s life but after so many ups and downs a lot of people close to her are just kind of at a loss as to what to do,” says the insider. “She tells everyone to mind their own business and that it is her life. She is going to do what she wants to do.” It doesn’t look like Gomez will be reconsidering her position any time soon. Sources say she already appears to have fallen harder for Tesfaye than she ever did for her most famous ex, Justin Bieber. Let’s just hope she can embrace the relationship without falling back into any of her old habits.
Finally, 2017 offers some good news for folks of a liberal/progressive slant, as it looks like there won’t be a need to trot out the # OscarsSoWhite hashtag again this year. The nominees of the 89th Academy Awards were announced this morning, and many were pleased to find that four of the nine Best Picture candidates feature people of color in the lead role. Of course, the leading contender for the night’s biggest prize remains La La Land, which tied the record for most nominations for a single film with an astonishing 14. This year’s notable snubs include Amy Adams – who many thought was a lock for her role in Arrival – Martin Scorsese, Taraji P. Henson, and Deadpool – a hopeful underdog in several categories. Kim Kardashian is not ready to let Barack Obama go. On Friday, around the time that Donald Trump was being sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, the reality star was sharing a handful of throwback photos on her official app/website. The pictures featured Kim, husband Kanye West, daughter North and a certain now-former Commander-in-Chief, smiling and interacting with members of this famous family. “”Thank you for leading our country. You will be missed,” Kim wrote as a caption above all the images. Kardashian met Obama a few times over the years. She and Kanye attended fundraisers in honor of the President, despite some controversial remarks he made about Kimye back in August of 2013. Speaking to Amazon employees in Chattanooga, Obama said Kardashian and West had essentially poisoned the American Dream by giving fans unfair expectations to live up to. At the time, Obama argued that, just a few years prior, “kids weren’t monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success.” He explained in more detail: “There has been a shift in culture. We weren’t exposed to the things we didn’t have in the same way that kids these days are… “There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous.” In other words: Kim and Kanye sent a bad message over the years by talking about their gold toilets and flaunting their wealth so often on social media. The irony now, of course, is that Kardashian got robbed in October. The armed assailants who broke into her Paris apartment were inspired to do so by pictures of a $4 million ring she had bragged about on Instagram and Twitter. In her series of social media photos since this incident, Kim has actually been accused of acting poor , as she tries to learn from past mistakes, now aware that there’s a danger to showing off some luxury items in front of millions of people. So Obama was kind of right back in the day. Kim, meanwhile, was not the only member of her family to honor Obama on his final day in office. Khloe Kardashian also used her Instagram account to share a sweet photo of Barack and Michelle Obama, including with it a sweet message. “I’m asking you to believe. Not in my ability to bring about change — but in yours,” Khloe wrote, quoting the ex-President and adding” “Terribly sad to see you go but honored I was able to watch firsthand. Most of Hollywood is very unhappy that Donald Trump is now President of the United States. It’s true. See what a significant number of celebrities had to say about Trump being sworn in to office on Friday NOW . But Julie Bowen is under particular fire from the social media community for the way in which she went about making her anti-Trump feelings known. The Modern Family actress live-blogged the inauguration, focusing a great deal of her commentary on Barron Trump, the 10-year old son of Donald and Melania. She didn’t insult the child or anything. Not really. But many followers still thought Bowen was out of bounds in even bringing Barron into the picture. “I think Barron is on his Gameboy. Can’t say I can blame him,” Bowen wrote as a caption to the following image. She sort of invited confused criticism with this quip. Wrote one critic quickly after the photo went live: “Gameboy…..is he at the 1988 inauguration?” And this was one of the more tame responses Bowen received for her posts. “Barron, a voting majority shares your horror. #barronforpresident,” Bowen captioned the next picture, implying that Barron was disgusted his father is now Commander-in-Chief. “He is a 10-year old boy. Lay off him,” shot back a commenter, while another added: “What is your problem? Are you an adult? You should feel ashamed bashing a child! Would you like it if someone was talking shit about your boys? Grow up!!” From there, Bowen continued to hint that Barron is ashamed of his dad. “When your dad is boppin’ his head to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. #dadshame #barronforpresident,” she wrote. Cue the backlash! “Eww don’t make fun of a child! You’re no better than him for doing this,” penned a follower. Another expounded on the critiques offered above, penning a pretty long reply to Bowen that reads: “It takes a big woman to make a fun of a child. If you don’t support Trump, why post anything at all, especially, his innocent child. I guess that makes you feel good about yourself. I wonder how you would feel if someone starting putting your kids out there and make fun of them??? “I’m done with you, UNFOLLOW and not watching anymore. You shame me coming from Maryland.” Lastly, Bowen shared the snapshot below and wrote: “Hey @CNN! Don’t box the Barron!” We’ll just rundown a handful of the more pointed comments left on Bowen’s page in response to this line of joking and insulting: And done with self-centered celebrities that think it’s okay to have the “wit” to make fun of a 10 year old. I will officially stop watching your show. No matter who you voted for it is what it is and time to quit bitching and come together as a country for the greater good. But to call out a ten year old boy on social media is a new low. I cant believe @itsjuliebowen posted this! disgraceful!!!! You just lost a fan. Donald Trump isn’t exactly presidential. In fact, the list of things that make him a poor choice for president is far longer than the list of things that that make him a good choice, which is a list that consists of approximately zero items. He has no political experience, he has a terrible temper, he’s immature and ignorant, he’s shady as shady can get , etc., etc., etc. And now we can add one more little fact to his unbelievably long list of wrongdoings: He really freaked Kristen Stewart out! This happened back in 2012, when Trump was just that super rich guy from The Apprentice, when anyone and everyone would have laughed and laughed if you told them that, in just a few years, he’d be president. (OK, anyone would still laugh and laugh, it would just be accompanied with uncontrollable sobbing now.) Also in 2012, Kristen was dating Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Unfortunately, that was the same year she cheated on poor R-Patz with director Rupert Sanders. It was a bad time for everybody: Sanders was married with children, Kristen had her long-term fan-friendly relationship , we had hopes and dreams and so much naivety. But really, no one was more hurt than Donald Trump. In the time following the news of the affair, things were sort of touch-and-go between Rob and Kristen. And that deeply troubled Trump. “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart,” he tweeted. “She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again–just watch. He can do much better!” Hilariously, he insisted that “She will cheat again — 100 certain — am I ever wrong?” He also wrote “Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart. In a couple of years, he will thank me. Be smart, Robert.” It’s unclear if Robert has thanked Donald yet, but you know what is clear? These weird tweets have bothered Kristen for a long, long time. In a new interview with Variety, Kristen recalls that “He was mad at me a couple years ago, really obsessed with me a couple years ago, which is f-cking crazy.” “I can’t even understand it,” she said. “I literally cannot even understand it.” “It’s such a far-out concept that I don’t want to believe that actually is happening. It’s insane.” As she points out, “At that point, he was just, like, a reality star. I had no reference. It wasn’t like really a thing.” “But in retrospect, somebody reminded me of that and I was like ‘Oh my gosh, you’re right!'” Kristen also predicted that “He’s probably, like, going to tweet about this.” Not only did she talk about Trump’s weird obsession with her personal relationships, she also spoke out about the insane fact that he’s now president . “I’ve never been the most politically charged person,” she admitted, “but I think at this point, it’s not political. “It’s f-cking so humanitarian.” For the ladies who may look up to her, she advised “I would just say be a part of what you believe in, whichever way that is.” “I’m not going to tell anyone how to feel, but I’m pretty sure that we all feel the same way.” You can say that again, girl. If you thought that the Teen Mom drama only revolved around the girls who gave birth on reality television when they were teenagers, you couldn’t be more wrong. Seriously, are you new? Teen Mom drama can involve the moms, the moms’ family, the moms’ friends, the moms’ significant others. It can even. and often does, involve MTV, the company that made them rich-ish and famous in the first place. Any and all shenanigans can go down for these people, and the eventful love life of Jeremy Calvert is proof of that. Jeremy is sometimes featured on Teen Mom 2, since he was briefly married to Leah Messer and had a child with her. These days, he’s not involved with Leah at all beyond co-parenting, and he’s barely on the show anymore, but still, people seem to be interested in what he’s been getting up to. Probably because he’s been up to no good. Jeremy has been dating this girl named Brooke Wehr since 2015. The relationship has had its ups and downs, and we’ve seen some of them on Teen Mom 2. We’ve seen Jeremy ditch his own kid to take care of Brooke’s , we’ve seen Leah embarrass herself, seemingly out of jealousy of Brooke . And last week, we saw Brooke and Jeremy break up on Instagram. It was an exceptionally millennial breakup, communicated through memes. Brooke posted one that read “I’m letting go. You let go a long time ago, and I realize that it is time for me to do the same.” Another read “It hurts when the person that made you feel special yesterday, makes you feel so unwanted today.” Jeremy’s heartfelt meme read “Sometimes holding on does more damage than letting go.” In his caption, he wrote “This speaks so much volume to me.” It’s not clear what caused such a modern split, but there’s been some speculation that MTV’s dastardly editing played a role in it. Particularly, one scene of Leah talking about Jeremy’s engagement to Brooke in which she claimed that he thought the engagement was not a big deal. Brooke shared a screenshot of one of the breakup stories, one that blamed Teen Mom for everything, and wrote “This is not the reason we ever broke up.” “I keep seeing these articles and that scene is not the reason that we ever broke up lol,” she insisted. “Just to clarify.” One of her followers commented to say that she wasn’t even aware of their breakup, and Brooke replied “for like a day lol.” Then Jeremy shared a photo of himself with Brooke, and in his caption he wrote “Yes we have fights and yes we have are arugements and short break ups but we still continue to try and make it work everyday.” “Life and relationship arent easy on a day-to-day basis and never less with a camera in ur face, your a great step mom to my child and the only female she has been around and that makes me happy and i want it to stay that way for her sake.” “Your a amazing mom to your little one also. No matter what I love you even during the fights and arguements,” he continued. “Sometimes u bother me like no other and other times i want u to bother me for the rest of my life… i love you @bwehr10.” Yeah, yeah, that grammar and spelling.
