Farrah Abraham is just so awful. All the time. Just the worst. The absolute worst . And yeah, everybody says that all the time about her, but it's just because it's so intensely true. For many people, it could be the truest thing they've ever known. The sun rises in the east, sets in the west, and Farrah Abraham is a human pile of garbage and porn and disappointment. These are irrefutable facts. But while Farrah is horrible , she's still human, and the vast majority of humans are capable of being OK sometimes. They're at least capable of stirring some sympathy in other, less terrible souls, and believe it or not, that's what Farrah's doing in this new video she shared. In the video, she and Sophia discuss “Daddy Derek,” also known as Derek Underwood: the guy Farrah dated in high school. He knocked her up, they broke up, then he tragically died in a car accident on December 28th, 2008. Farrah was still pregnant at the time of his death, so Sophia never got to meet her father. And regardless of what you think about the most heinous Teen Mom of them all, that's incredibly sad. Farrah says that she and Sophia have special ways of honoring his memory during this time of year, and honestly, it's enough to bring a tear to your eye. Check out the sadness in the video below:

How great is Ariana Grande? The greatest, right? Sure, she’s had her problems — who could forget the great donut-licking scandal , or her general diva shenanigans? But when push comes to shove, when it really matters, Ariana can come through with some real loveliness. And that’s what she’s doing now. Yesterday, we talked about this sad story Ariana told about how she was objectified by some fan of her boyfriend, Mac Miller. She said that Mac’s fan, some “young boy,” saw them while they were out and he followed them to their car. “I thought all of this was cute and exciting,” she recalled, “until he said ‘Ariana is sexy as hell man, I see you, I see you hitting that!!!!'” Poor Ariana admitted that her ordeal might not be “a big deal” to some, but that she felt “sick and objectified.” “I’ve felt really quiet and hurt since that moment,” she said. “Things like that happen all the time and are the kind of moments that contribute to women’s sense of fear and inadequacy.” Queen Ariana declared that she’s not “a piece of meat that a man gets to utilize for his pleasure,” and that she’s sad that so many people have such an easy time objectifying women. “I felt like speaking out about this one experience tonight because I know very well that most women know the sensation of being spoken about in an uncomfortable way publicly by a man,” she said. “We need to talk about these moments openly because they are harmful and they live on inside us as shame.” “We need to share and be vocal when something makes us feel uncomfortable because if we don’t, it will just continue.” “We are not objects or prizes,” she concluded. “We are QUEENS.” Like we said, she’s the greatest. Unfortunately, not everyone can be as wise as Ariana on this subject. When she posted her story, she got flooded with comments about how she dresses provocatively, she can get kind of racy, so what happened is her fault. What a bunch of nonsense, right? But don’t worry, because our girl shut that mess down QUICK. She hopped back on Twitter to explain that “Women expressing sexuality is often mistaken for ‘hi come disrespect me!!!!’ .. & that’s just not the case.” “Women (and men) can express themselves however they’d like !!! even loving sex!! this is not an invitation to be disrespected.” When asked how Mac Miller reacted to the guy, she said “Although this isn’t about his reaction, he drove the f-ck away !! he is a sweet bear & I am falling asleep feeling safe & loved.” But then she really took us to church. “Seeing a lot of ‘but look how you portray yourself in videos and in your music! you’re so sexual!'” she wrote. “Please hold .. next tweet… I repeat …” “Expressing sexuality in art is not an invitation for disrespect !!! just like wearing a short skirt is not asking for assault.” “Women’s choice. ♡ our bodies, our clothing, our music, our personalities….. sexy, flirty, fun. it is not. an open. invitation.” “You are literally saying that if we look a certain way, we are yours to take. But we are not !!! It’s our right to express ourselves.” What did we ever do to deserve such a glorious, truth-telling lady?
If you’ve been anywhere near an Internet-capable device in the past six months, then you’ve surely heard the jokes about what a used-tampon-and broken-glass salad 2016 has been. In fact, we’ve officially reached the point at which jokes about how awful 2016 is have made the list of awful things about 2016. Of course, that’s not to say the criticism is unwarranted. Far from it. By any measure, this has been a horrendous trip around the sun, and we’re all worse off for having endured it. Obviously, one of the most apparent ways in which 2016 sucked out loud is the staggering number of celebrity deaths it bore witness to. Thousands took to social media to jokingly ask Santa for a moratorium on beloved entertainers dropping dead, but sure enough, 2016 just waved an admonishing Dikembe Mutumbo finger in our collective faces. On Christmas Day, George Michael died at 53 . Two days later, Carrie Fisher passed away at the age of 60. In case there was any doubt that this year was based on a treatment written by George R.R. Martin, Fisher’s mother, Debie Reynolds, died the next freakin’ day. All of this, of course, comes at the end of the year in which David Bowie, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Merle Haggard, Alan Rickman, Harper Lee, and dozens of other artists, athletes and entertainers all shuffled off the mortal coil. Thankfully – and remarkably – some of our most senior icons survived 2016. Queen Elizabeth II is still with us. Keith Richards still has a few years left on his contract with the devil. And Betty White is still kicking ass as she approaches her 95th birthday. Now, having witnessed the brutality of 2016 firsthand, one man is fighting to make sure that Betty stays golden for the remainder of this bloodbath of a year. Earlier this week, South Carolina resident Demetrios Hrysikos launched a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising $2,000 to help him “protect” Betty from the ravages of 2016. Within 24 hours, he raised $2,900. Three days later, he’s raised $7,900. “If she’s OK with it, I will fly to where ever Betty White is and keep her safe till Jan 1 , 2017,” Hrysikos writes. Demetrios has allowed for the fact that Ms. White may not want “a strange Greek standing guard outside her door,” and has promised to donate all of the proceeds to the Spartansburg Little Theatre in the event that Betty declines his services. “2016 has taken so many great artists, and SLT helps support and nurture new budding talent in our town,” Hrysikos explains. “I’d like to think that Betty, Carrie [Fisher], and [David] Bowie would be happy with any proceeds going to that cause, which I assure you it will!” Naturally, there have been some skeptics, with some going so far as to call the campaign a “scam.” View Slideshow: 2016 Celebrity Deaths: 21 Tributes to 21 Stars Eh. We understand the concern, but as long as the money winds up where Hrysikos has said it will, we have no problem with what he’s doing. Hell, anyone who’s able to find a silver lining in the noxious mushroom cloud that is 2016 has our full support.
Like so many celebrities before him, Alec Baldwin has written a Tweet about Carrie Fisher’s death . Unlike so many celebrities before him, however, Baldwin used this sad occasion to take a swipe at Donald Trump. Baldwin and the President-Elect, of course, have been engaged in a pretty serious (that is, ridiculous) social media battle ever since the actor started to play the racist bully on Saturday Night Live. Which is all good and fine and entertaining and everything. But Baldwin may have taken his disdain for the impending Commander-in-Chief a bit too far when he incorporated his hatred for Trump into a Tweet about Fisher. Wait… what?!? How did he manage to pull that off? “Death comes in threes,” Baldwin Tweeted, jokingly adding: “Carrie Fisher George Michael The integrity of the Oval Office.” Ummm…. zing, we guess? LOL… to some? Not to others, however, who felt as though Baldwin showed major disrespect to Fisher by using her passing as a chance to once again lay into Trump. “SUCH bad taste,” wrote one Internet user, while another said: “Another idiot that had to politicize someones death instead of just saying R.I.P. Carrie! I guess that’s too much to ask!” Other criticisms included the following: – “2 human beings lost their lives. Why make it political. Tacky and tasteless!” – “Pretty tacky that you linked their deaths to politics. BTW, the integrity of the Oval Office was lost 8 years ago.” Baldwin worked with Fisher on an episode of 30 Rock. No one doubts that he meant little harm with his Tweet. But he still should have known better. Or he should have at least come up with better material. A joke about Donald Trump being an unfit President is not exactly new, or particularly hilarious. If you’re going to dip your foot in controversial waters, you’ve gotta make sure you’re being funny. Last month, Lisa Edelstein came under fire for a similar joke. She quipped that Alan Thicke died to avoid Trump’s presidency, writing of the actor’s death: “RIP Alan Thicke. Seems like everyone is checking out before the Trumpacolypse.” Elsewhere across Hollywood, more proper condolences have been pouring in regard to Fisher. “Yesterday was a horrible day. Carrie was a special, wonderful girl. It’s too soon,” wrote her ex-husband, Paul Simon. Added former co-star Harrison Ford: “Carrie was one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life, bravely…My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her.” View Slideshow: Carrie Fisher: Mourned, Honored by Hollywood And George Lucas: “Carrie and I have been friends most of our adult lives. She was extremely smart; a talented actress, writer and comedienne with a very colorful personality that everyone loved. “In Star Wars she was our great and powerful princess—feisty, wise and full of hope in a role that was more difficult than most people might think. My heart and prayers are with Billie, Debbie and all Carrie’s family, friends and fans.” And, finally, Fisher’s famous mother, Debbie Reynolds: “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. “I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop.” The Hollywood Gossip continues to send our thoughts and prayers to Fisher’s family, friends and loved ones.
Pink officially has a reason to sing a very happy tune: The singer is a mother. For the second time! The artist announced on Twitter late Wednesday that she and husband Carey Hart have welcomed their second child, a son named Jameson Moon Hart. He came into the world on Monday, December 26. “I love my baby daddy,” the singer captioned a photograph of Hart holding their newborn. And here is that photograph… that totally adorable photograph! Pink and Hart are already parents to a five-year old girl named Willow Sage. Way back in 2010, while expecting their first child, Pink told Access Hollywood that she and her husband of a decade did, indeed, love the name Jameson for a boy. “My dad’s name is James, and my brother’s name is Jason,” Pink said at the time. “[Carey and I] are both Irish, Carey’s middle name is Jason, and Jameson – we like whiskey. That’s a no brainer.” It’s true: Jameson is very, very good. Pink also shared a second picture of her son, simply writing “Jameson Moon Hart 12.26.16” as a caption to the precious image. Here it is: Just last month, Pink took to Instagram to confirm her pregnancy, writing “Surprise!” alongside a photo of Willow nuzzling against her mom’s fairly large baby bump. A month later, Pink gave us a glance at her even bigger baby bump ( while topless! ), making fans especially excited for the baby to come. “the snuggle is real
Debbie Reynolds, the iconic actress who starred in some of Hollywood’s best-loved films, has passed away at the age of 84. Reynolds’ daughter, Carrie Fisher, passed away just yesterday after suffering a massive heart attack aboard a commercial flight. According to TMZ, Reynolds was at her son’s home, making arrangements for Fisher’s funeral, when she suffered the stroke that claimed her life just hours earlier. Over the course of her nearly 70-year career, Reynolds racked up more than 80 film and television credits, including such enduring classics as Singin’ In the Rain and How the West Was Won . She scored a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nomination for her work in The Unsinkable Molly Brown in 1965, and an Emmy nod for her recurring role on Will & Grace in 2000. In 2015, she received the Academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Reynolds’ personal life was often the subject of intense media scrutiny, such as when her first husband, Eddie Fisher, left her Elizabeth Taylor. Reynolds’ often turbulent relationship with her daughter was also a frequent source of interest to fans and the tabloid press. Both parties spoke candidly about their difficulties, with Fisher using the relationship as the basis for her autobiographical novel, Postcards From the Edge , later adapted into a film starring Meryl Streep. Reynolds was also a highly-regarded singer and stage performer, and one of the world’s foremost collectors of film memorabilia. At one point, she owned Marilyn Monroe’s “subway dress” from The Seven Year Itch , a Charlie Chaplin bowler hat and a copy of the ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz , all of which she fought to have displayed in prominent museums. But for all of her many accomplishments, in later years, Reynolds was best known as the mother of one of Hollywood’s most beloved scren icons. “There have been a few times when I thought I was going to lose Carrie,” Reynolds told Oprah Winfrey during a 2011 interview. “I’ve had to walk through a lot of my tears. But she’s worth it.” Reynolds’ passing marks a fitting, but almost unbelievably tragic end to one of Hollywood’s most compelling mother-daughter relationships. Leah Messer’s drama-filled days are well and truly behind her and the Teen Mom 2 star is looking to the future as she continues to change her life. For the better. If you told us a year ago that Leah would be turning her life around, we would have definitely laughed it off because of all the crazy things she was doing. Leah recently took to Instagram to reveal that her children had tired her out during their visit and admitted that she’s a “hot mess mom.” The part in which she calls herself a “hot mess mom” probably refers to how tired she was after the visit. Well, we hope that’s what she meant by it. Leah revealed on Instagram: “This was after all the kiddos left. This momma was exhausted, but so happy they all had a great time at their slumber/birthday party!” Sounds like things are going well, which is certainly a refreshing change of pace for the West Virginia native after the events of the past year. Ever since Teen Mom 2 Season 7 aired, fans have questioned Leah’s parenting after a string of events that played out on the show. One of them involved Leah allegedly not feeding her children breakfast before school, while others involved conflict with her ex-husbands. It sounds completely terrible, but Leah seemed to think all of this hate was down to the editing done by MTV producers. Does she have a point? The reality TV cameras probably film her for many hours a day, so producers will want to make a story out of that footage. It appears as though Leah’s story for that season was to show off that she was a terrible mother and portray only one side of her. She’s not alone in this argument. View Slideshow: Leah Messer Bad Parenting Excuse Hall of Fame If you recall, Jenelle Evans has also blasted the editing in the Teen Mom franchise over the course of the past several years. With Leah turning her life around, she recently confirmed that there would be little to no drama for her on the upcoming season of the hit series. Messer will be returning to school at some point in 2017. On top of that, she is launching a new business with two friends. That business will be in the lipstick industry. Leah took to Instagram to show off just how resilient the lipstick is. What do you think about all of this? Sound off below! A video posted by Leah dawn (@leahdawn92mtv) on Dec 19, 2016 at 8:38am PST
Carrie Fisher, a veteran actress best known and revered for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise, has passed away. She was 60 years old. Fisher was flying from London to Los Angeles on a United flight when she suffered a major heart attack on board an airplane late last week. The incident took place 15 minutes before the flight landed in LAX. Once the plane landed, paramedics worked on the star for 15 minutes with CPR before they were able to find the star’s pulse. She was then transferred to UCLA Medical Center and was in critical condition before succumbing to the heart attack earlier Tuesday. Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement to the media on behalf of Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd: “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning.” “She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.” Fisher, of course, sky-rocketed to fame in 1977 as one of the main characters in George Lucas’ iconic space opera Star Wars . She recently reprised the role of Princess Leia in 2015’s The Force Awakens and next year’s Star Wars: Episode VIII . It’s unclear what will happen to Leia’s storyline in Episode IX, tentatively scheduled for release in December 2019. Along with this legendary film character, Fisher appeared on a number of films and TV shows over the years. She had been the voice of Angela on Family Guy since 2005; stopped by The Big Bang Theory as herself in 2014; and also portrayed Mia in Catastrophe. Fisher was even nominated for a pair of Primetime Emmy Awards: Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on 30 Rock in 2008; and Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special for Wishful Drinking in 2011. Fisher also recently made headlines when she came out and admitted to an affair with Harrison Ford way back during the filming of A New Hope . She spoke of this romantic entanglement as part of her press tour for The Princess Diarist, a memoir that was released on November 22 of this year. Three decades earlier, Fisher wrote her first memoir, along with the screenplay for the movie based on the book. She was married to Bryan Lourd and Paul Simon; Billie is her only child. The daughter of showbiz veteran Debbie Reynolds and entertainer Eddie Fisher, she was brought up in the world of film, theater and TV. Fisher made her film debut in the Warren Beatty-lead Shampoo while she was a teenager and was just 19 when she was cast in Star Wars . In addition to the second and third Star Wars films, Fisher starred in 1980’s The Blues Brothers and The Man with One Red Shoe. She appeared in Woody Allen’s Hannah and Her Sisters in 1986 and, later, the award-winning classic When Harry Met Sally . Fisher wed musician Paul Simon in 1983. Theirs was an explosive marriage, according to Homeward Bound: The Life of Paul Simon author Peter Ames Carlin. The union was cut short by swinging stages of depression, the actress’ drug use and an array of personal insecurities. Nevertheless, the tumultuous relationship continued, on-and-off for several years, after the pair got divorced in 1984. The star’s substance abuse problem was well-known, starting at only age 13 when she first started smoking marijuana, Fisher said. She later dabbled in drugs like cocaine and LSD. Fisher’s addiction was largely profiled in her 1987 best-selling, semi-autobiographical novel, Postcards from the Edge. Always open about her life, in good times and bad, Fisher’s book was later turned into a movie starring Meryl Streep. Fisher is the latest in a long line of major names to have passed away in 2016, as tragically detailed in the gallery below. We send our condolences to her friends, family members and other loved ones as they mourn the passing of one of the true greats. In July 2015, singer Fantasia Barrino tied the knot to Kendall Taylor in North Carolina. After having her love life play out in a tumultuous way in public, to say that Barrino was happy to have found her Mr. Right would be an understatement. As she put it, she was “on cloud 9” on that special day. She had this to say about finding her perfect match last year: “How Happy I am.. This Man.. God made him just for Me and me Just For Him,” she wrote. “This Man.. Covers and prays for me and my children EVERY morning.. This Man.. Loves My Father in Heaven and his name is God.. This Man allows me to just be a woman.. No more Hurt because King Kendall will never let that happen.. I’m off to just kiss, Hug and play in some water with This Man..” [ madamenoire ] Christmas At Disney Isn’t Just For Kids When I was invited to Orlando to “unwrap the magic” of Walt Disney World at Christmas time I didn’t know what to expect. I’d only been to Disney World once when I was 12 years old and my biggest memory of the vacation was miraculously surviving the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. I didn’t want to test my luck again. But as soon as I stepped foot in the Magic Kingdom it was like I was a kid again. Everywhere I looked there were Christmas lights, trees, ornaments, and families of people who were indeed having the happiest time of their lives. Within minutes I was in line buying a pair of Minnie Mouse ears, which I proudly wore all weekend. He is heard yelling “thanks” and many thought it was followed by “Kyrie.” After that people assumed that he was taking a dig at his former teammate Kevin Durant who now plays for the Warriors. Of course, this makes no sense, so when Westbrook was asked by a reporter if he wanted to explain or clear up what he meant, he responded accordingly.
