Snow White herself shows off fantastical forest, crumbling village and dwarves’ cottage during MTV News’ set visit. By John Mitchell, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Lily Collins in “Mirror Mirror” Photo: Snow White Productions When “Mirror Mirror” hits theaters March 30, moviegoers will be transported to an enchanted land of snowy forests, old-timey villages and lavish castles for a classic retelling of the Snow White fairy tale. But why wait that long when you can get a sneak peek behind the scenes right now? MTV News’ own Josh Horowitz was lucky enough to visit the “Mirror Mirror” set and received a guided tour from Snow White herself, Lily Collins. “This is where I live,” Collins declared while welcoming MTV News to the snowy forest set of the film. She was quick to caution that, unlike real snow, the white stuff piled throughout the woods wasn’t exactly appetizing. “It’s salt,” she warned. “This is the forest as you can see, obviously. The dwarves’ tree house is somewhere in these woods. The majority of the action takes place here,” Collins explained. “And I’m in big ball gowns running around in this wood. I’m fighting with Armie [Hammer].” From the forest, Collins took MTV News to another soundstage, where a dilapidated village was constructed. The place was in disrepair — and, of course, it was all Julia Roberts’ fault. “It has seen better days, yes,” Collins told MTV News. “The story is that the queen [Roberts] has spent all the money, and so the village is poor.” Next, the 22-year-old “Abduction” actress introduced Josh to the dwarves’ cottage, which features several small beds and a shorter-than-usual kitchen table. “This is the classic, iconic dwarves’ house, as you can tell by the little things around. So much goes on in this house,” the actress said. “Everything from the iconic waking up scene with the dwarves and I [to] Armie — imagine Armie, how tall he is, he is in here quite a bit.” The lovely actress even invited Josh to stay in the cottage. “Don’t you want to stay? Take a little bed up there?” she asked. Alas, none of the beds built for the seven dwarves would be a good fit and Collins knows it, having given them a go herself. “I tried fitting in one of those too; they’re really small,” she admitted. I root for her success and am eternally hopeful — and thus often disappointed — that she will get it together. When people slam her, mock her long, long list of troubles , I can always be called upon to email them a link to Robert Downey Jr.’s biography, which has many parallels to Lohan’s but differs because it also contains the phrase “.357-caliber Magnum handgun.” Downey’s list of troubles easily eclipses Lohan’s (at this point, anyway), but he managed to fully recover and go on to become one of the biggest stars on the planet, starring in enormous box-office hits like “Iron Man” and “Sherlock Holmes” and earning Oscar nominations for films like “Tropic Thunder.” She’s not entirely out of the woods just yet, but she’s been earning “glowing” reports on her probation progress and was recently announced as the host of “Saturday Night Live” on March 3. A series of good signs and the first truly positive news out of Camp Lohan in a long time. When word of Lohan’s hosting stint on “SNL” was announced, I was incredibly pleased. For many reasons, it seems like a smart move, and if she pulls it off, it could be the first step (of many necessary steps) toward a real career comeback. Here’s why:

For the second time in three months, Vanessa Long has called off her divorce from Bishop Eddie Long , the AJC reports. DeKalb County court filings posted online show that Vanessa Long’s divorce petition has been dismissed. The online postings in the case of “Long vs. Long” indicate the petition was dismissed “without prejudice.” Lawrence Cooper — one of Eddie Long’s lawyers — confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Vanessa Long had asked that the divorce petition be dismissed. He did not tell the AJC whether or not the Longs were reunited. This past December, Vanessa Long announced she was seeking to end her 21-year-marriage to Eddie Long following “a great deal of deliberation and prayer.” She announced soon after that after “prayerful reflection,” she had changed her mind about going through with the divorce. Lil Wayne took time out to diss Jay-Z (again) and Kanye West after celebrating Young Money’s success at Cash Money’s annual pre-Grammy party. After celebrating the success of his label YMCMB with performances, plaque presentations, announcements ( Christina Milian is now signed to the label) and even a moment of silence for Whitney Houston , Weezy couldn’t help but take a jab at Kanye West and Jay-Z aka Watch the Throne . “I ain’t really got nothing else to say, but uh…I met a bad red bone, I took the b*tch home, I asked her what she want to watch she said surely not the Throne,” spit Weezy, who immediately dropped the mic and walked off the stage as the crowd reacted. This is the second such shot Weezy has taken at Jay-Z. Strap, a member of the ATL rap trio, was caught with a firearm at Hartsfield-Jackson, an airport official confirms to MTV News. MTV News has confirmed that group member Strap was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday morning (February 15) for trying to clear security with a firearm. A Hartsfield-Jackson official indentified the arrested individual as Harold Duncan (Strap’s birth name) and confirmed that he was arrested at the airport and has since been transferred to Clayton County jail in Jonesboro, Georgia. The trio — Ali, Quez and Strap — have been a staple on the Atlanta rap scene for a number of years. They first gained notoriety after appearing on Roscoe Dash’s 2008 hit “All the Way Turnt Up,” and in 2010, the guys broke through off the strength of their strip-club anthem “Make It Rain.” The song peaked at #9 on the Billboard Rap charts and piqued interest for the group’s oft-delayed debut album on RCA Records. The group finished in the top five on MTV News’ 2010 “Hottest Breakthrough MC” fan poll. (The award eventually went to Wiz Khalifa .) Battling album delays, Travis Porter continue to release singles. Their 2011 track “Bring it Back” features Oakland rap legend Too $hort and appears on the group’s mixtape Music, Money, Magnums. TP’s latest single, “Ayy Ladies,” features Young Money’s Tyga. Earlier today, Travis Porter dropped a preview clip for the video on YouTube, and the behind-the-scenes video features Chris Brown and Meek Mill. ‘I meant ‘she said yes’ to being my valentine,’ Wayne says, clarifying Valentine’s Day tweet about girlfriend Dhea. The Young Money rapper has been linked to his girlfriend, Dhea, since last spring, and on Tuesday, a message on Weezy’s Twitter account set off rumors that he had finally put a ring on it. “She said yes!” Wayne wrote. Even though Wayne isn’t a very frequent tweeter, the feedback got to him quickly, because on Wednesday (February 15) morning, he followed up with a new message to clarify things. “Ohhhhhhh now I see why! I meant ‘she said yes’ to being my valentine!!!” he wrote. “Hahahahahahaha! Y’all krazy!” Ohhhhhhh now I see why!I meant “she said yes” to being my valentine!!! Hahahahahahaha! Over the past year, Dhea has accompanied Lil Wayne as he’s skipped across cities and continents during his I Am Still Music Tour. MTV News joined Wayne , Birdman, Ronald “Slim” Williams and the Cash Money team in New Orleans over the Thanksgiving holiday while they handed out turkeys, and Dhea was right by his side. In December they were snapped sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game, and when Wayne headed to South Africa to perform, another tweet hinted that she was there as well. “In S. Africa w/ my homies, makin $, sk8’n, performing my azz off, & I get 2 make luv 2 the most beautiful woman! Mylifemylifemylifemylife. YOLO,” Wayne wrote . Lil Wayne’s most serious relationship to date was with his ex-wife, Toya Carter, who is also the mother of his daughter, Reginae Carter.
