Birdman On Drake’s Beef With Common: “We’re Supporting Him 100%” [VIDEO]

The rest is here:

In a move that’s totally unsurprising, Drake’s Cash Money boss Bryan “Baby” Williams (aka Birdman) is riding with his soldier, Young Money’s Drake, in Drizzy’s beef with Common . In an interview with radio personality Big Boy, Birdman addressed the rap beef Drake and veteran rapper Common have gotten into in the last few weeks. Though he isn’t a fan of battle rap, Baby said he’s rocking with his artist. “We’re supporting him 100% with our lives,” Baby says. “There’s no other way. Drake’s the little homie. That’s blood, that’s family. So ain’t no siding with that. It’s Drake or nothing.” Also, don’t expect the rest of Drake’s Young Money or Cash Money family, including Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, to jump in the war of words either. “We don’t do all that,” Baby says. “That’s not how we operate. We do our music for the people. We’ve never been a brand of diss records. That’s not us.” Check out the video below. Shakira Sweet Latina Cleavage

I can’t remember the last time I had Shakira on the site, I think she was wearing some awesome golden underwear at the time, but she was invited to some sort of soccer awards show and she brought along her sweet latina cleavage so I thought I should bring her back. I always thought she was a little chesticularly challenged, she’s downright busty in these shots. She must have invested in one of those magical push up bras. Money well spent.

Drake’s Take Care: Making The Album, Track By Track

Producer Noah ’40’ Shebib gives MTV News the inside story in an exclusive interview. By Steven Roberts Drake Photo: John Shearer/ Getty Images Despite all the critical and commercial acclaim Drake ‘s Take Care has rightly earned, the Toronto MC has remained relatively quiet when promoting the album. Relative in the sense that Thank Me Later ‘s release was accompanied by the hoopla of in-store signings and a documentary . That’s not the only way the two projects differ. Where TML featured a number of A-list hitmakers, from Kanye West to Swizz Beatz, the biggest name in Drake’s sophomore effort’s production credits is Just Blaze. The album certainly doesn’t suffer from that lack of notoriety, however. In fact, it sounds more focused with the lesser-known T-Minus , and Drake’s right-hand man Noah “40” Shebib stealing the show. Their efforts helped to make it more Drake’s album — however introspective, weird and altogether refreshing that might be. When MTV News caught up with 40, he attributed their creative fearlessness to the autonomy Lil Wayne and Cash Money allowed them. “We’re afforded all of the creative freedom in the world,” 40 explained. “They really trust us and have from day one. It’s a great feeling to know that me and Drake just get to make music. We don’t really have to clear it with A&Rs or anybody. We are our own A&R’s. We just make it happen, and we take it, say, ‘Hey, look, this is what we did. Let’s put it out.’ ” 40 gave MTV News the inside look at the making of many Take Care songs, including those that shows us another side of Weezy: “HYFR” (produced by T-Minus) “He trusts us enough to take chances; he’ll go there with his raps. Not just getting on the song, but he’ll participate [in the song’s theme]. On ‘HYFR,’ he’ll show that introspective side of himself along with Drake. That’s amazing, and those are some of Wayne’s illest moments, always have been for him. “The Real Her” (produced by 40 and Drake) “Even on ‘The Real Her,’ a lot of people will be like, ‘Nah, nah, I can’t get on that sh–,’ but Wayne will be like, ‘F— that. … I’m going to get on that sh–.’ … I like it.’ And that’s what it is to me. You have to make music with that attitude. We love the music we make.” “Take Care” (produced by Jamie xx and 40) “We’ve always been a fan of Jamie as well as the xx, and we had been to their studio and sat with them prior to this when we were in London last year. We had loved that Gil-Scott [Heron] record, and the remix Jamie had done, and I guess between Oliver and Drake and myself, but specifically Oliver and Drake felt that song never got its shine. ‘Man, what a great record. It never was as big as it should’ve or could’ve been.’ ” “Motto” (produced by T-Minus) “That song was right at the end of the process. That’s one of my favorites. T[-Minus] sent the record to Drake. I think Drake cut it in Vegas, maybe. He cut the vocals, sent it over to me, I gave it to Gadget, Gadget mixed it, sent it to mastering the next morning and got it mastered, on radio 24 hours later.” “Headlines” (produced by Boi-1da and 40) “There’s a couple of things about radio. That’s a catchy song. ‘They know, they know, they know.’ It’s corny, it’s catchy, it’s perfect. That will run on radio all day. You balance with those evils when you make music. I understand what’s going to work on radio as much, sometimes I want to make different types of music. But the thing is, you want to win. You want to have your cake and eat it too.” “Crew Love” (produced by 40, the Weeknd and Illangelo) ” ‘Crew Love’ is just a moment for Drake as far at the content of the record and what was going on around him in life and his people and his team. That was just an important record for him to make, and Weeknd was someone he wanted to include on that.” “The Ride” (produced by Doc McKinney and the Weeknd) “Was really just a vibe. It was a vibe that the Weeknd caught, and it was just so crazy that Drake wanted to rap on it — as simply put as that.” “Underground Kings” (produced by T-Minus and 40) “Sometimes, Drake will have a song title in his head or an idea of what the record is and what he wants it to be and then he’ll search for the beat, and I think he found that beat from T-Minus. It was just a matter of finding a place for the chorus. We got the mix right and the bass sort of eating up any speaker that gets in the way of it.” “Marvin’s Room” (produced by 40) “The honesty is mind blowing. He says things in that record that are like, ‘Whoa, really?’ But that’s shock value, and that’s a great thing to bring to the table. The further it goes, the bigger the smile on my face. I want him to say the craziest sh– you can imagine.” “Buried Alive” (produced 40 and Supa Dups) “I had given it to Drake at some point, because he had asked for it or wanted it. He just sent it to Kendrick [Lamar] at some point. I had no idea. A few days later, he was like, ‘I got this Kendrick verse!’ ‘On what?’ ‘On the beat you did!’ ‘What beat?’ When we listened to it, we loved it.” All week, we’ll bring you highlights from our candid interview with Drake producer Noah “40” Shebib . “BMF Wives” Reality Show Shut Down By Big Meech

The rest is here:

We reported a few days ago that a pilot for a new reality show called  “BMF Wives” was being filmed. The show was to focus on the women dealing with men affiliated with the Black Mafia Family, but BMF head Big Meech is putting an end to that. Meech and BMF — which at its height operated a multi-million dollar national drug ring based out of Atlanta — reportedly said: “We’re not trying to have our brand associated with a reality show.” Meech’s mother hit up Twitter and voiced her son’s opinions: Big Meech and his brother Terry (aka Southwest T) are currently serving 30 year prison sentences, but Meech had a lot to say about the so-called “BMF Wives.” See what else he had to say at HipHopWired . Mob Wives: Chicago Coming This Spring To VH1

See the original post here:

Since VH1′s “Mob Wives” reality show has been pulling in millions of viewers, the network has begun filming a spinoff, “ Mob Wives: Chicago .” The original takes place in Staten Island, and the Chicago edition will be produced by the same team. “Our viewers connected so strongly with our New York cast that we were skeptical about trying to repeat that success, said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production. “But once we met these ladies from Chicago and heard their truly unbelievable stories, we knew that viewers would become just as captivated as we did. These women’s life experiences may be far different from our own, but their current struggles to stand on their own two feet are relatable to everyone.” “The furs, the money, the parties, the respect – it’s all part of the intrigue of the world I grew up in,” said series Creator and Executive Producer Jennifer Graziano of JustJenn Productions. “But at any time, the other shoe can drop and these women find themselves going on prison visits. I have long thought that this was a story that needed to be told, and am so thankful that we can continue this journey with the original “Mob Wives” – as well as expanding the franchise to Chicago. I have always heard the legends about Al Capone and Chicago, but it wasn’t until I actually went to the city that I became enamored with the rich mob history there. These women’s lives are right off the pages of a storybook!” Find out more about “Mob Wives: Chicago” here . RELATED POSTS: T.I. Ho Sit Down: Scarlett Johansson’s Mom Says She’s Broke And It’s All Her Daughter’s Fault

Once a stage parent, always a moocher. Scarlett Johnasson ‘s former mom-ager is still trying to live the good life her daughter’s fame has afforded her. But there’s on little catch: she’s no longer on ScarJo’s payroll. So now she’s mad because she can’t afford the house she wants. Scarlett Johansson’s mom and former manager, Melanie Sloan, signed a contract to purchase a $1.4 million two-bedroom in Midtown in October. But less than two months later, the California dweller sued the owner of the 1,228-square-foot pad in The Strand at 500 W. 43rd St. — a doorman building with a swimming pool — demanding the return of her $130,000 deposit. She claimed she is cash-poor and can’t obtain a mortgage, according to court papers. The real-estate battle offers a rare peek into the finances of a stage mother, whose famous daughter was a cash cow until she canned her mom two years ago and hired a professional manager. Even though Sloan attempted to manage clients besides her daughter, the move left ScarJo’s mom with no major source of income, according to her lawyers. Last October, Sloan, 60, presented the apartment sellers, violinist Christina Castelli and pianist Grant Moffett, with a strong financial profile, even claiming 2011 was one of her “best years yet in the entertainment industry,” according to the sellers’ lawyers. The move would bring her closer to ScarJo, who lives in Manhattan. The stage mom managed her daughter’s career since Scarlett made her big-screen debut at age 9 in Rob Reiner’s “North.” She took a 10 percent cut of all earnings, according to a contract reviewed by The Post. ScarJo’s parents separated when she was 13. But in November 2009, Scarlett sacked mom in favor of Hollywood power agent Rick Yorn, whose roster includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz. “Once I got married, I felt that I needed to cut the cord,” the 26-year-old star told Vanity Fair last month. (She divorced actor Ryan Reynolds in July.) Sloan told the seller she still had money coming in from projects she had signed for ScarJo, including campaigns with Moët Champagne, Dolce & Gabbana and the “Iron Man” movies. But now she claims the money spigot has been turned off. A few weeks after signing the contract, Sloan suddenly cried poverty. Wait: you managed Scarlett Johansson for more than ten years and took 10% of every check she got, plus whatever else you got off the strength of being her mother… but now you’re broke? GOP Debate: Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich Spar on Foreign Policy

It’s hard not to see how Dr. Paul got the better of this one. At last night’s GOP presidential debate in New Hampshire, Newt Gingrich was asked to respond to Ron Paul referring to has a Chicken Hawk in the past. After a long-winded, largely irrelevant response by Gingrich, Paul said that description of Newt was correct, launching into his own opinions on veterans affairs. When it comes to the power to wage war, and foreign affairs in general, Paul is unflinching in his views, even if they’re diametrically opposed to his counterparts’. Moreover, Paul reiterated that he, despite being married with children, served in the Vietnam War when drafted. Watch the heated exchange below: GOP Debate – Ron Paul vs. Newt Gingrich
