Katy Perry shocked and delighted us all when she released “Swish Swish,” a fun little song with Nicki Minaj. The song itself is OK, but the real joy comes from the lyrics, which really and truly seem to be about Taylor Swift . The legendary Katy vs. Taylor feud has been going on for years now, all because Taylor thought Katy betrayed her by stealing some backup dancers. Taylor's made several passive aggressive statements about Katy, and she even released a song about her, the super catchy but super petty “Bad Blood.” And now, two years lately, it seems like Katy's responded with “Swish Swish.” You can listen to the song, take in the lyrics and make your own decision about what it's possibly about, but Katy made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, and she was directly asked about the rumor. “'Swish Swish,'” Jimmy began, “is that about anyone we know?” Katy took a moment to gather her thoughts, then responded with “I think it's a great anthem for people to use whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you.” Which, it seems, is a good, neutral answer that works better than something like “Yeah, this song is about Taylor Swift, that bitch.” Of course she can't come right out and directly diss Taylor like that, but notice that she definitely doesn't deny that ti's about her. Poor Alan Thicke must be rolling in his grave right now. Just months after his tragic, unexpected death , his family is getting into what’s surely going to be a nasty battle over his fortune. He worked so hard for decades, and for this? What a shame. To recap the situation, Alan’s oldest sons, Brennan and Robin, filed a petition earlier this week , claiming that Alan’s widow, Tanya Callau, is trying to get more money than what was left to her. Alan had a living trust that left his home, a ranch in California, to his sons, with the specification that Tanya could continue living there as long as she paid for maintenance on the property. He left 60% of his estate to be split between his three sons, with the remaining 40% going to Tanya. He also left the money from his life insurance policy, as well as his pension, to her. But according to the petition, that’s not enough for Tanya. The documents claim that Alan’s widow is now saying that there are problems with the trust, as well as with the prenup she signed eleven years ago. Because of that, and because she has rights to the ranch, and also because she put her own career aside to support Alan, she wants to reevaluate the trust. Brennan and Robin also claim that Tanya threatened to go to the tabloids if they didn’t agree to her demands. It’s pretty nasty, and it’s only getting nastier. Tanya has already gone to the media, telling TMZ that she’s not, as so many believe now, a gold digger, and that she and Alan were actually planning on having a baby before he died. But she’s not done yet … and her new statement is pretty darn scandalous. According to a statement Tanya’s lawyer made, she’s the good guy in this situation — and Alan’s sons are the ones with the bad intentions. “Since Alan died,” the statement reads, “his sons have been haranguing her to let them turn America’s dad’s homestead into a massive pot plantation.” “When she said no, they filed this bogus lawsuit and smeared her in the tabloids. They’re just trying to bully a woman whose only crime is loving their father with everything she had for 17 years.” Yeah, so go ahead and let that sink in for a moment. It’s just interesting because when we first heard this news, it wasn’t because Alan’s sons were going to the media, it was because they filed the petition in court. They still haven’t made any sort of public statement. But Tanya has been speaking to multiple outlets, and now she’s trying to say that the whole issue began because she didn’t want Brennan and Robin to use the family home to grow marijuana? The rapper was seeing his baby cousin off to her prom in Memphis. TMZ reports that Drakes dad’s grand-niece was elated to have her matching prom attire and white Rolls Royce ride paid for by cousin Drizzy. ‘Morning Joe’ Hosts Reveal Kellyanne Conway Dislikes Donald Trump MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” showrunners dropped some bombshells about Donald Trump’s right-hand lady Kellyanne Conway . Show host Mika Brzezinski , sitting alongside fiancé and co-host Joe Scarborough, revealed that Kellyanne let it be known that she wasn’t feeling Trump way back in the campaign days: “This is a woman, by the way, who came on our show during the campaign and would shill for Trump in extensive fashion. Cop Charged In Jordan Edwards Killing Officer Roy Oliver, the cowardly cop who opened fire on a car full of teenagers on “suspicion of underage drinking,” ultimately killing 15-year-old Jordan Edwards , has been charged with murder. A warrant was issued for Oliver’s arrest on Friday, noting that he “intended to cause serious bodily injury and commit an act clearly dangerous to human life that caused the death.” Oliver, who had a sordid past in his career as a cop and was subsequently fired by his department after news of the killing went national, surrendered to police and was formally arrested later in the day. If you’ll recall, Oliver originally showed up to the party Edwards and his friends were attending based on some reports of underage drinking going on at the home. For no real reason, he opened fire on the car full of children as they were leaving the scene, striking and killing Edwards in the passenger seat. The fact that he was actually charged with a crime is all well and good…but we really need to see a conviction this time around. Dallas County Police
