Swizz Beatz, DMX Feds Say Swizz Beatz Owes Back Taxes Uncle Sam has accused Swizz Beatz of not paying nearly $280,000 in back taxes, and now the federal government has headed to court demanding he pay up in full, BOSSIP has learned. According to official records in New York, the IRS has filed a lien against the music producer turned art aficionado, accusing him of screwing them out of taxes for 2015. The document states that Swizz is refusing to pay up on $275,727.12 for unpaid taxes. The IRS isn’t playing around with their money and demanding he pay up the full amount or they will begin coming after his property and assets to pay off the debt. Earlier this year, the IRS slapped Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, with another federal tax lien, accusing him of owing a total of $88,662.94 for the year 2014. The lien is still active and has yet to be paid off. A few months earlier, Swizz dropped $732,000 to Uncle Sam for unpaid taxes for the year 2006, and the IRS released the lien against him for that year. Swizz dropped an additional $556,000 last year to pay off his 2007 tax debt. The music producer has a long history of tax problems and at one point he owed more than $2.6 million dollars to the IRS. Beatz blasted the reports about his tax issues explaining he was all caught up – despite evidence showing otherwise.
Taddrick Mingo Says Jermaine Dupri Never Paid Him A judge has shut down Jermaine Dupri’s attempt to have his ex-personal assistant’s lawsuit thrown out of court, and now his former employee can continue on in the legal battle accusing the music producer of never paying the man a dime for four years of work. The music producer’s ex-assistant, Taddrick Mingo, filed a federal lawsuit back in 2014, claiming his former boss of screwed him out of wages and overtime along with violating labor laws. Mingo began working for Dupri back in 2010 as his personal assistant, road manager and record engineer. He said he normally worked 65 plus hours a week and never received his wages despite the producer assuring him the money would come eventually. Mingo said he worked for more than four years and was never received a paycheck. He ended up resigning from the job due because he wasn’t paid. He then sued Dupri for back pay, loss of income and damages. Dupri fired back and counter-sued his ex-assistant denying the allegations he screwed his former friend out of wages. He explained Mingo reached out to him and asked for a job as an independent music producer. He told his friend that he could use his studio for free and also live in the complex due to the man not having a home. Dupri argued Mingo was an independent worker and not employed by him due to him working for various record labels and being able to make his own schedule. Then on August 18th … the judge presiding over the case came back with his decision and sided with the former assistant by shutting down Dupri’s attempt to dismiss the case. The judge says that Dupri exercised significant control over Mingo and the facts show the producer owned the music studio where Mingo worked out of and had the power to hire and fire employees. Despite Dupri’s claim the man wasn’t his personal assistant, the judge notes that regardless of the title given to him by the producer, he did in fact complete tasks associated with an assistant. The judge notes Dupri controlled Mingo’s work schedule and conditions of employment and the employee had to be available 24/7. Further, he says the evidence does show that he wasn’t paid a dime and was dependent on Dupri as a result. He ordered that Dupri’s motion to toss the case completely is denied due to the evidence thus far showing Mingo has a case to pursue against the producer. The lawsuit will continue on with the ex-assistant pursuing damages for the 4 years of allegedly unpaid work he performed for the producer.

When players return to the game, it makes for a huge change in the dynamics of the house. Victor Aroyo fought his way back into the game just a few weeks ago. He was understandably a bit annoyed at being blindsided once again from the game. If anyone deserves to be there, it’s Victor. He’s a competition and social beast. That’s why James ultimately made the decision to oust him from the game. James’ decision to evict him would have been a good one if there was no way he was returning to the game. We picked up with the houseguests at the HOH/Juror competition. There’s no denying the wall competitions are the toughest on the show. Da’vonne and Zakiyah clearly made a pact before the competition that they would drop together and that they did. the practically threw their chance at the $500,000 prize away. Da’vonne returning to the game would signal a huge shift. She would be targeting the likes of Nicole and Corey for eviction. It’s just a shame she and Zakiyah decided to ride out the rest of their Big Brother experience in the jury house. Poor Bridgette was the final girl standing, but it was clear her knee was still busted from her injury a few weeks ago. That left it all down to Victor and Paulie to fight it out. Eventually, Paulie had to drop down and it meant Victor was the returning juror. No one has ever returned to the game twice in one season, so the dude is now on his third attempt at the money. The other houseguests should just give up at this stage. We were treated to a flashback from before Thursday’s live eviction. Paul called Michelle the c-word and it was meant with a harsh response from their fellow houseguests. Meech decided to be the bigger person and just walk out of the situation, while James went to battle with Paul. Paul was quick to point out that Natalie and James make all of the same decisions. Natalie chimed in, saying that she didn’t want Bridgette evicted and it happened on James’ HOH. James then dropped the bomb that he’s not made a decision about evicting Corey. Nicole was furious and told Corey she was worried about whether she would be alone in the game after the eviction. Corey reassured her and as we know, James kept his word. If you recall, he almost sent Corey home at the live vote, so his mind wasn’t really made up until he went in to vote. This gave Nicole the want to succeed, so she went all out in the HOH competition and even indulged in some manipulating. It came down to Nicole and James and she managed to get James to throw it to her. She promised both him and Natalie safety for the week. She made it seem like all she wanted was the letter from home, but it was clear she knew she needed to win to keep both her and Corey safe from eviction. James dropped down, giving Nicole her first HOH win of the season. It also makes me wonder whether Nicole has been throwing competitions all season long in order to appear as less of a target. If that’s the case, she might find herself winning the whole thing. She’s not sat on the block once this season and has had a hand in most of the evictions. Maybe Derrick gave her some pointers before she entered the game. We’ll probably never know. Nicole was quick to tell Corey she might not keep her word to James. She knows James never stuck to his earlier in the season, so she has a great case to put him up. Nicole then claimed the best person to evict is Michelle and Corey agreed. Heck, even Victor and Paul showed up to agree she was the best target. That’s when the four of them made an alliance that would take them to the end of the season. It seems like Nicole and Corey are happy to play for third and fourth place. They just don’t want people who don’t deserve it to get further. That’s a good mentality to take. Yes, Natalie was not impressed that James gave Nicole the win because she doesn’t trust her. James made it clear that Nicole would stick to her word. It seems like she might, to an extent. Paul agreed to go up on the block, with Michelle as the target. Nicole’s ideal scenario would be for Victor to win and take Paul down. That would pave the way for either James or Natalie to go up and one of them would be evicted. It all sounds pretty intriguing. It’s odd that Nicole is now going back to the person we loved on Big Brother 16. It’s so close to the end of the game, so it would be great to see her get far if she continues to play. America’s care package was a bit of a wet blanket this week. Corey won $5000 to bribe on of his houseguests to do something. It would be valid right up to the conclusion of the next HOH competition. It would be great if he got someone to throw the HOH, but there’s a slim chance anyone would agree to do that. Nicole nominated Michelle and Paul for eviction. Michelle admitted afterwards that she would have done the same if she was Nicole. She’s been targeting her for weeks. What do you think about the latest developments in the house? Sad news out of Hollywood today, as TMZ is reporting that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have broken up . In other news: Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were apparently still dating. The reports that the couple is dunzo come on the heels of rumors that Lopez is pregnant at the age of 47 . We think it’s safe to say you can add this to the pile of evidence that those rumors are bogus. There’s no word on why Lopez and Smart called it quits, but insiders say it was Lopez who pulled the plug on the relationship. The couple first started dating way back in October of 2011… But it’s anyone’s guess as to how many times they split up and got back together. Part of the reason for that is that Jen and Casper intentionally sent mixed messages about the status of their relationship. Insiders say Lopez and Smart faked a breakup in 2014 because they were sick of the public scrutiny of their relationship. From the start, the pairing was a subject of public fascination … and a fair amount of puzzlement. At 29, Smart is 18 years Lopez’s junior and was a struggling professional backup dancer when they met. Not what you expect from a woman who previously dated men as successful as Diddy and Ben Affleck, but as several fans pointed out over the years, male celebrities date and marry young, attractive nobodies all the time. So we’re not throwing shade over the age difference, but we’re still pretty happy to see these two go their separate ways. Not only have they been fighting ever since their reality show, Rob & Chyna started filming, but now they’re sleeping in separate bedrooms .
