What kind of F*CKERY is this??? The officer who pumped four shots into 20-year-old Pace football player Danroy D.J. Henry last year was just named “Officer of the Year” by the racist New York police union he works with. Henry was killed October 17th when he and two friends sat outside a bar waiting on another friend. After a police officer tapped on the window, he attempted to move his car from the no parking zone when another officer jumped in front of the car WITH HIS GUN DRAWN. Henry was unable to stop the car in time and accidentally hit the cop and that’s when all hell broke loose and 33-year-old b*tch a*s pig Officer Aaron Hess fired multiple shots into the car — killing Danroy and injuring his friend Brandon Cox. The bullsh*t black people are put through in Amerikkka never ceases to amaze us. It was bad enough when this b*tch a*s sorry excuse for “Protect and Serve” was not indicted for committing murder . Not to mention the gall these pigs had charging Danroy’s teammates with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction for trying to HELP their dying friend. Fortunately they were acquitted . “I’m glad the world gets to see the arrogance we’ve been dealing with since Oct. 17, from the district attorney’s office all the way to the Police Benevolent Association,” said Angella Henry, Danroy Henry’s mother. “For us, it’s not a surprise.” The Police Benevolent Association, the local union, named Hess as an Officer of the Year at its annual awards ceremony on Friday, according to local media reports. Matthew Listwan, president of the union, did not return a call for comment this morning. According to lawyers for the Henry family, eyewitness accounts have differed from the police account of the shooting, raising questions about whether it was justified. The lawyers have also questioned whether an impartial investigation was conducted. The Department of Justice said its civil rights division would investigate the case given the nature of the shooting. That investigation is ongoing, a spokeswoman said this morning. This pig shouldn’t even be allowed to wear a badge, much less be named Officer of the Year. We hope the Department of Justice rips this muhfugga a new hole and the Pleasantville police department goes broke paying out settlements to the Henry family and Danroy’s teammates. Source
Some mornings I wake up and feel like I’m being pulled in lots of different directions. I am usually distracted by all sorts of things: miscellaneous emails, my cell phone ringing, 38 text messages, the dirty dishes in my sink and the unpaid gas and electric bill sitting in my face. And these are just things I remember being distracted by today! There may be days when you may be convinced that the world is conspiring to keep you from getting anything of substance done. Much of the time, the things that distract us are things that need to get done… but they aren’t necessarily what we should be focusing on right that second. What are some things that distract you from your goals and dreams? How do you keep your focus where it should be? Here are a few ways you can be sure you are on point. 1. Make a to-do list – Make sure you know what you should be doing, and try to plan out the order of priority for each thing to do. Even if it’s something as simple as taking out the garbage, it still needs to be taken care of. 2. Say a morning prayer or mantra – Take a moment to meditate and either pray or repeat your personal mantra to get the day started. It will get your gears grinding! “God of all times and places, you have brought us to the beginning of a new day. Surround us in the same with your all-embracing love, and grant that this day we turn not aside into sin, nor be overcome by adversity, but let our thoughts, words, and deeds, in some small way, make for the coming of your Kingdom on earth. Through Christ our Lord” – Morning Prayer 3. Don’t entertain fools and foolishness – If there are people who like to call you with catty gossip or vent to you about their latest weekend drama (we all have these friends, I know I do!) try to avoid them in the morning. Try not to listen to negative music, rants on the radio or anything sexual that may throw you off your focus by putting images in your mind that are not in tune with your daily goals. We’ve all been to the point where there’s a lot going on in our lives, but the key is to stay focused on what’s really important. Keep your eyes on the prize! What is this? The Dark Ages? France just passed a law that bans women from wearing veils on their faces — a move that has already resulted in protests by Muslims along with two arrests for the so-called offense: French police arrested two veiled women this morning just hours after the country’s new ban on wearing the burka in public came into force. The women were arrested along with several other people protesting in front of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris against the new law. Jourrnalists at the scene said the arrests came after police moved in to break up the protest which had not been authorised. On Saturday police arrested 59 people, including 19 veiled women, who turned up for a banned protest in Paris against the draconian new law, the first of its kind to be enforced in Europe. Earlier, French police said they will be enforcing the country’s new burka ban “extremely cautiously” because of fears of provoking violence. They fear Muslims extremists will use the law to provoke fights with officers, while rich visitors from countries like Saudi Arabia will also cause trouble . All garments which cover the face were officially banned from first thing this morning, with offenders facing fines of 150 euros (£133). The law will be very difficult to apply on certain estates,” said Patrice Ribeiro, of the Synergie police union. Referring to two Paris suburbs where riots regularly break out because of alleged discrimination against Muslims, Mr Ribeiro said: “I can’t see police going to book dozens of veiled women doing their shopping in Venissieux or in Trappes. “It will be the same when a police officer is about to arrest a veiled Saudi who is about to go into Louis Vuitton on the Champs Elysees. In all cases, the forces of order will have to be measured and cautious in their behaviour.” Synergie has already instructed its members to view the ban as a “low priority”, and Mr Ribeiro said there would “inevitably be incidents”. Police have already been warned not to arrest women “in or around” mosques, and “citizen’s de-veilings” are also banned. The strict instructions, from Interior Minister Claude Guent, are contained in a nine page circular issued to officers. As well as a mosque, Muslims will also be able to put on a veil in the privacy of their own homes, a hotel room, or even a car, as long as they are not driving. The ban means France is officially the second country in Europe, after Belgium, to introduce a full ban on a garment which immigration minister Eric Besson has called a “walking coffin”. While French women face the fines and ‘civic duty’ guidance if they break the law, men who force their wives or daughters to wear burkas will face up to a year in prison, and fines of up to 25,000 pounds. Posters have already gone up in town halls across France reading: “The Republic lives with its face uncovered.” Belgium introduced a full ban last year, although it has not been enforced with any vigour. A ban also looks likely in Holland, Spain and Switzerland. We heard Muslims had it bad in France but this is the most racist isht we’ve ever heard of. How are you gonna pass a law against somebody else’s religious law? SMH. Source

Bella’s wedding dress has been revealed! EW scored pics from Stephenie Meyer’s new book, The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide , which goes on sale April 12. Below, you can see an artist’s conceptualization as Bella as a vampire and Bella as a bride … Can you imagine K-Stew rocking that piece? The book’s illustrator, Young Kim, has done a great job bringing Meyer’s characters to life thus far. We imagine the forthcoming, two-part film will be no different.
The stunning elimination of Pia Toscano on American Idol Thursday night will no doubt go down as one of the show’s most controversial in 10 seasons. Despite her lackluster stage presence, her talent outclassed much of the field, with many predicting she would make it all the way to the May 25 finale. No one understood why Pia was in the bottom three to begin with. As the results were revealed, the judges and her fellow hopefuls were dumbstruck. When the show ended, no one in the studio audience moved. In past eliminations, it’s been an easy transition off the stage, but this was no ordinary elimination. Crushed, Pia buried her head in Jacob Lusk’s chest. Haley Reinhardt wiped away tears and prompted the crowd to cheer for Pia. Stefano Langone looked destroyed and guilty that he kept a spot over Pia. Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler surrounded her to show their support, as if she’d just lost a loved one. It was that kind of shocker. But the votes don’t lie, and this wasn’t the first such shocker on Idol . Still, it’s gotta be top five, right? Here are four that ranked up there with it: Chris Daughtry. The presumptive winner of season five was ousted before Taylor Hicks (winner), Katharine McPhee AND Elliott Yamin. Wow. Melinda Dolittle. The veteran backup singer was on a collision course for a finale with Jordin Sparks (winner), but Blake Lewis beat her out. Michael Johns and Carly Smithson. They finished eighth and sixth in Season 7 (David Cook and David Archuleta finished 1-2) Far too low. Jennifer Hudson. The future Oscar winner finished 7th in Season 3. Fantasia (winner) has had a nice career, but finalists 2-? Unknowns. What do you think? Was Pia Toscano the most shocking elimination of all? Something to ponder as you watch her swan song last night, “I’ll Stand By You.” Some of the first words: “Why you look so sad …” Pia Toscano – I’ll Stand By You (American Idol) [Photo: Fox]

File this under News You Didn’t Expect When You Got Up This Morning But Still Aren’t Shocked By At ALL: Allen Iverson went OFF on the cops last week! After a car belonging to him was pulled over for a traffic violation last week, the former NBA star told the officer, “Take the vehicle, I have 10 more.” Iverson was a passenger in the grey Lamborghini spied by an Atlanta officer changing lanes without signaling about 6 p.m. March 30, CNN reports . The driver, Antwuan Clisby, couldn’t produce any documentation for the vehicle, then told the officer Iverson needed to leave the car to eat dinner. The officer said no one was leaving until the investigation was done. Iverson became “irate” at that notion, proclaiming, “I’m the (expletive) passenger.” The officer radioed for backup, and a second unit arrived. Clisby and Iverson exited the car, and A.I. kept cursing at the officer, who informed him of his expired tags and that the car would be towed. “Take it, I have 10 more,” Iverson said. “Police don’t have anything else (expletive) to do except (expletive) with me … Do you know who I am?” The officer wrote in his report that he was just getting started: “For the next 20 minutes, Mr. Iverson went on and on about who he was.” “I stated, ‘It really doesn’t matter who you are. You tried to conceal your vehicle with a fake drive-out tag due to you not paying for your tags.'” Iverson then said, “I make more money than you will in 10 years.” Clisby then asked, “Would you want to pay $10,000 for a tag?” To his credit, Iverson later “came back and apologized for disrespecting the police,” the report said. “He stated he was just upset about his car.” Clisby was cited for not signaling and for the expired tag. Bet the fee to get the ride out of the city tow lot was under $10K though. Just saying.
