It’s happening, folks. Like Jinger and Jessa before her, Jill Duggar is finally defying the arch-conservatve views and arbitrarily strict rules of her upbringing. And she’s giving us all a front row seat to the rebellion. Last week, Jill’s nose ring stunned fans, who are accustomed to seeing the mother of two stick with the prairie wife aesthetic favored by her mother. Considering Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were reportedly outraged when Jill’s sister Jinger started wearing pants , the decision to display a semi-permanent body modification on social media was a bold one. Sure, the Duggar girls might sport pierced ears, and the Duggar dress code might not specifically address the issue of facial piercings, but Jill knew how her parents would react to the sight of her looking like a Hot Topic employee who moonlights at Claire’s, circa 1997. Similarly, she knew how they’d react to her latest pic. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you, Jill Duggar’s tattoo: Yes, that’s Jill’s hand sharing the frame with her youngest son, Samuel. You may have noticed that Jill’s “tattoo” is stenciled in temporary Henna ink. So yes, the reaction from her traditionalist parents probably hasn’t been as severe as if she were sporting permanent body art, but if you know anything about Jim Bob and Michelle, you know they’re not big on even mild displays of individuality and worldliness. Not surprisingly, Jill’s fashion statement has garnered a negative reaction from some of her more conservative fans. “My teenage girls looked to you as a role model and now the piercing and henna. Worldly worldly,” wrote one of Jill’s followers. “Thankfully they don’t look to that way anymore. I think we were warned when you were broken-hearted about your hubby cutting off his long hair.” “Isn’t that a little wild for a so-called ‘simple, modest girl?'” remarked another. Tough crowd. Fortunately, many were appreciative of Jill’s ink, and praised her flare for self-expression. “I LOVE the henna! Six years of being a hippy dippy midwife and I still haven’t completed that bucket list item!” one fan commented “She is hated for her lifestyle regardless of what she does… what is wrong with people?” asked another. As with all acts of Duggar rebellion, this one is pretty innocuous to those of us living in the modern world. But what’s important is that Jill knew she might face backlash or even consequences, and she showed her new tatt off anyway. Sure, the ink is temporary. But the image will remain etched in the minds of ultra-conservative Duggar enthusiasts forever. Watch Counting On online for more on reality TV’s most controversial family. Krista Ball just wanted to bake something delicious for her family this holiday season. The Newfoundland, Canada native sent what she believed was a simple text message request to her mother recently, asking how to make her mother's beloved bread for her own immediate family. What followed, however, was anything but simple. Try to follow along below, as Ball attempts to remain calm and collected in the face of her mother's less-than-detailed description… 1. Homemade Bread is Delicious We’ll start with that simple statement. It’s easy to buy at the store, but sometimes it can be worth putting in the time at home. 2. So That Brings Us to Krista She reached out and asked her mom for a bread recipe. And it started out easy enough. Six loaves is a lot, but sure, right? 3. You Need a Big Bag But not TOO big. And not too small, either, just so we’re clear. 4. Where is “That Place?” Alberta. Now that this is settled, let’s move on, shall we? 5. The Pan Must Be Big Let me make that as clear and as repetitive as I can. We’re talking a BIG pan here, Krista. 6. This Doesn’t Seem Very Technical But great cooks sort of improvise, right? We’re still following along… so far. View Slideshow
Image via Splash Meek Mill’s Judge Is A Failed Actress Meek Mill’s judge has a LOT of ‘splainin’ to do. Your (dis)honor is being investigated by the FBI for possible extortion and collusion and sources close to the rapper feel that she sentenced him to 2-4 years out of personal animus. Today, the plot thickens. According to TMZ , Judge Genece Brinkley is a failed actress who played the mother in a dollar store TV flick called “Tell My Mother I Love Her” back in 1993. The film starred an actor named Dustin Felder who is reportedly close to Philly music exec Charlie Mack, the man the judge wanted Meek to leave Roc Nation for. Meek’s lawyers plan to make the case that the judge’s failed career is in part why she is taking out vengeance against a young brotha who is just trying to make his coins. Cardi B Explains Her Name As most folks know by now, Cardi B’s real name is Belcalis Almanzar . So going from that to Cardi B seems like a bit of a stretch. But as “Bardi” explained to Wendy Williams during a recent interview, it’s a play on words loosely based on her sister’s own name. Apparently, her sister’s REAL government name is Hennesy …so that provided a natural progression of nicknames for her. “My sister’s name is Hennessy, so everybody used to be like ‘Bacardi’ to me. Then I shortened it to Cardi B. The ‘B’ stands for whatever, depending on the day…beautiful or bully.” …right. We’re sure that coming up in the Bronx that there’s other B words that she probably applied there…but okay Cardi. “No one calls me Belcalis except for my family, my mother and my daddy.” Hmm, who knew? Farrah Abraham and her mother, Debra Danielsen, have had a very complicated relationship. But that didn’t mean that Farrah couldn’t make it to her own mother’s wedding. Yes, Debra got married this weekend. And Farrah gave a toast. And though MTV’s cameras weren’t there to cover it, we can still tell you what happened. Last week’s big drama was Farrah Abraham getting “fired” from Teen Mom . The initial story was that it’s because of Farrah Abraham’s live sex shows, like the one where she stripped down and masturbated for paying viewers . It resulted in Farrah canceling her much anticipated anal sex livestream that was to take place a week ago. As it turns out, all of this may have really just been over the fact that nobody likes Farrah Abraham . In a bizarre, barely intelligible rant, Farrah Abraham blasted MTV’s parent company, Viacom (which owns like 1/3 of entertainment media), saying things like: “Sad such a phenomenal show will no longer have its biggest talent on the show because of women hating, sex shaming, hate crimes, selfish, Weinstein company power trip behaviors against a professional hard working, honest mother.” Saying Weinstein company power trip behaviors in the wake of the Weinstein scandal is an unconscionable ploy for attention unless Farrah is actually accusing someone of sexual misconduct. And we don’t know what “crimes” Farrah is alleging that MTV or Viacom or the Big Scary Teen Mom Illuminati committed. It would be interesting to listen to her try to explain what, in her mind, a “hate crime” is. Because it sounds like she just thinks that it’s when you’re mean or unfair to someone. Of course, Farrah later came forward and claimed that MTV didn’t actually fire her … but did commit “hate crimes.” It looks like, at the very least, MTV gave Farrah an ultimatum about putting stuff inside her body on camera — that she couldn’t do it and be on Teen Mom . It’s not clear if Farrah misunderstood them or is trying to build up a demand that she not get fired … or what. Whatever is going on in all of that mess, MTV’s cameras didn’t show up to film Farrah’s mom’s wedding. But that’s okay, because we know how it all went down. The Ashley was there, and they interviewed the lucky bride, Debra Danielsen . “We’ve been on this quest to find each other,” Debra said of Dr. David Merz. “It’s like, you knew this person was out there, you just had to find them … that’s how I feel.” A lot of people believe in soul mates. A lot of people don’t. Also speaking to The Ashley , Farrah spoke about her decision to attend her mother’s wedding. “I think it means the world for me to be here.” That is such an astoundingly self-centred way to talk about your decision to attend your mom’s wedding, right? That is classic Farrah Abraham. “It really mattered to me and it’s important to me.” Well, you know what they say about wedding days — what matters is how Farrah Abraham feels. Debra and David tied the knot at the Scott Aquarium at the Omaha Zoo. The wedding had an “under the sea” motif, and Debra wore a mermaid dress with a long train. There were bagpipes, which aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but if Debra and David wanted them … and they weren’t disturbing the aquarium creatures, then sure. Debra’s friend was the maid of honor, while Farrah was the “honorary maid of honor,” which isn’t a real thing and sounds incredibly goofy. Farrah was wearing a black pantsuit, and The Ashley reports that she was the only woman in attendance who wore black. Farrah gave a toast, as we mentioned, and she posted the transcript of it to social media. “It’s been an up and down year for me. I’m very protective of my mom and I love her so much and I’m happy to see, David, that you love my mom just as much.” That’s … genuinely sweet. And, except for that bit about Farrah’s year, it was barely even about her! Farrah continued her toast, speaking to David: “You’re strong, and that’s what she needs. Someone by her side who is very strong and loving. I’m happy to have you as part of my family and to be part of your family.” Even adults gain new family members when their parents get remarried, folks. “It’s been an amazing opportunity to come together. I love you both.” Again, when you compare that to Farrah Abraham’s angry and often nonsensical rant about being “fired,” this is a lot more grounded. Maybe she practiced. We don’t know. Nobody from Teen Mom was there. Farrah’s daughter, Sophia, wasn’t there. That’s not surprising. Even less surprising was that Debra’s ex-husband, Michael Abraham, wasn’t there. if Farrah ends up resolving things with MTV, maybe they’ll regret that they didn’t get to film her mom’s wedding. If they don’t resolve things, though, maybe producers will be grateful that they got a clean break from Farrah. We still don’t know everything about what’s going on with Farrah and MTV. But gosh, we’d sure like to. View Slideshow: Farrah Abraham: Was She Really Fired From Teen Mom OG? An Investigation

Jimmy Fallon and his loved ones are in mourning. The comedian sadly lost his mother, Gloria, on Saturday, one day after NBC canceled a taping of The Tonight Show due to a Fallon family emergency. Said a spokesperson for the talk show host and his relatives: “Jimmy Fallon’s mother, Gloria, died peacefully on Saturday. “Jimmy was at his mother’s bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. “Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time.” Gloria was 68 years old. It’s unclear whether she had been ill for a long period of time, but at least Fallon was able to be with his mother at the time of her passing. On Friday, Variety reported that NBC had cancelled the Tonight Show’s scheduled taping due to “a private Fallon family matter.” In its place, the network ran an episode that had originally aired in September. According to IMDB, Gloria made two appearances on her son’s show over the years. Fallon keeps his private life mostly private, but he did open up about his mother at times over the years. Just this past June, he revealed to Howard Stern that Gloria used to be a nun. A month before that, he shared a memory about Gloria as part of a “#MomQuotes” segment for the talk show. “My mom and I were talking on the phone for the third time that day and she actually said, ‘We don’t talk enough,’ ” he tweeted at the time. We send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to Fallon and his family. It’s unclear if Fallon will resume taping The Tonight Show next week, but he should obviously take as long as he needs to mourn. May Gloria Fallon rest in peace.
