Fellow ‘Jersey Shore’ star the Situation says actress’ speech (and ScarJo kiss) was ‘an awesome moment in entertainment history.’ By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Damian Vaca Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Nicole ‘Snookie’ Polizzi Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images “Jersey Shore” stars Snooki and the Situation had a blast participating in the 2010 MTV Movie Awards pre-show, but looking back on the night, they also named Sandra Bullock’s Generation Award acceptance (and sexy kiss with Scarlett Johansson) as one of the highlights of the show. “My favorite part was probably hosting the red carpet with Sway,” Snooki told MTV News at the Logo NewNowNext Awards, where she was up for Most Addictive Reality Star. “I met so many people, and I feel like I did a good job hosting. “I actually wanted to meet Adam Sandler and I did not see him I’m disappointed,” she continued. “But Sandra Bullock, her whole thing it was amazing. … She made me cry!” “The Sandra Bullock moment was definitely an awesome moment in entertainment history,” the Situation agreed, but he also really enjoyed just showing up at the show. “The arrival was definitely pretty cool. We arrived in a Phantom; the car was beautiful. We definitely arrived in style. It’s Situation nation and the ‘Jersey Shore’ [has] gone global. We’re just every moment.” Snooki loved having the chance to bring a little Jersey style to Hollywood. “[Our] Hummer limo was amazing,” she said. “And if you see from the red carpet, it looked like we were in a hot tub. Yesterday I mentioned that I’d like to see Lindsay Lohan show off her sweet freckly legs and even sweeter freckly boobs at the same time. I thought it was a lot to ask, but it looks like my wish has come true because here she is out yesterday in her short shorts and a lose fitting top giving us some impressive views. This kind of thing just makes sense, now if she can somehow flash her ass at the same time we’d be in business. In a related story, apparently her alcohol detecting ankle bracelet went off while she was at an after party for the MTV Movie Awards the other night. Uh oh! Awesome freckly prison bound cleavage. Love it.

Katy Perry To Host Teen Choice Awards

By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Photo: Getty Images It seems only fitting that a singer whose upcoming album is titled Teenage Dream should host this year’s Teen Choice Awards. Just in time for the August 24 release of her sophomore LP, Katy Perry is set to MC the show on August 9, according to ETonline.com . Nominees, as well as Perry’s co-host, will be announced this week, according to the show’s Twitter . The announcement comes just days after Perry stormed the stage at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, performing her hit single “California Gurls” with Snoop Dogg , amid a backdrop of surfboards and roller-skating dancers. Perry’s Movie Awards performance on Sunday also gave fans a taste of what they can expect from the “California Gurls” video , a preview of which has her dancing in her own personal “Candy Land.” The singer, sporting a blue wig these days, is also slated to perform at the Teen Choice Awards, airing on Fox. In the days before MTV’s Movie Awards, Perry had vowed to perform in the nude — a promise she did not keep. So, maybe this means she’ll have some time to build up the courage for her appearance at the August show? Regardless, the California girl seems to be gearing up for a busy summer, with a number of projects in the works, including her role as the voice of Smurfette in the CG/live action movie adaptation of “The Smurfs” (due for a 2011 release). “I’ve never seen an episode [of ‘The Smurfs’], because my parents wouldn’t let me,” Perry confessed to MTV News on the Movie Awards red carpet. “My mom thought that Smurfette was a little bit slutty, being the only female in the village. And now I showed her. I called her up and was like, ‘Guess what, Mom: I’m Smurfette!’ “It’s just like another one of those days, where it’s like, ‘Guess what, Mom: I kissed a girl! Robert Pattinson Says ‘Eclipse’ Is ‘Different,’ More ‘Serious’

By Josh Wigler Robert Pattinson backstage at the 2010 Movie Awards Photo: MTV News Many “Twilight” fans are expecting a darker film with more action, but plenty of romance between Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her various supernatural suitors when “Eclipse” hits theaters on June 30. But “Twilight” enthusiasts who haven’t braced themselves for a different experience should consider themselves warned: Leading man Robert Pattinson revealed to MTV News that the threequel absolutely takes a more serious tone. “I’ve seen a very early cut,” Pattinson said at the . “It’s good. It’s different. It’s really different, like, it’s kind of serious.” Pattinson clarified that in the case of “Eclipse,” the words “different” and “serious” are good things, especially when it comes to the action sequences. “All the kinds of fight scenes that are in ‘New Moon,’ they’re, like, real fights now [in ‘Eclipse’],” he said. “They’re not, like, fantasy things. It’s like a horror film!” The horror label should come as no surprise considering that “30 Days of Night” director David Slade is responsible for “Eclipse.” And not to mention the fact that Peter Facinelli previously revealed that fans will see the “true vampire-ness” of his Carlisle Cullen and the rest of his fanged family, including the “dark, dangerous side” of Alice (Ashley Greene), as well as “a darker side” of Jasper (Jackson Rathbone). Another big tipoff to the film’s pitch can be found in the “Eclipse” footage we’ve already seen, like the action-packed teaser that premiered during the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. Having earned a PG-13 rating for “intense sequences of action and violence,” there’s no question that “Eclipse” will differ from previous “Twilight Saga” installments. Lindsay Lohan Ankle Bracelet: Spotted in Malibu!

Lindsay Lohan has gone to great lengths to deny the press its coveted money shot – the troubled actress donning the court-mandated SCRAM ankle bracelet. The rest of her body, though? No such qualms. Over the weekend, Lohan was seen doing a beachy cavewoman photo shoot in Malibu wearing nothing but lingerie and boots and clutching a bow and arrow. That’s just plain silly. Maybe they’ll airbrush it: HEAR HER ROAR : But keep that anklet covered up! At least at some events, like the weekend’s MTV Movie Awards, full-length dresses and pantsuits work. This is effectively a lingerie shoot, however. Absurd. Fortunately, despite LiLo’s best efforts, the alcohol-monitoring bracelet made a cameo after all. Fresh off her impressive tittie show at the MTV Movie Awards the other night, Lindsay Lohan decided to mix it up a little for the after party and gives us a nice look at her long freckly legs in a pair of short shorts. It’s very thoughtful of her and all, but maybe one of these days she could possibly combine the two for us. It’s just a suggestion, but I don’t think a pair of short shorts and some awesome cleavage would hurt the girls career. I’m just saying.
