What you may not have realized, however, is that it took a whole team to make her a Movie Awards sensation. Anna Kendrick, Scarlett Johansson Lead Best-Dressed List At MTV Movie Awards

Vanessa Hudgens, ‘The City’ star Whitney Port and more stand out on the red carpet. By Amy Wilkinson Anna Kendrick Photo: Getty Images The MTV Movie Awards may not hand out Golden Popcorn statues for best dressed, but that doesn’t mean Hollywood’s most fashionable femme fatales shouldn’t be honored. Here are our top picks for the night’s most stunning stars to grace the Gibson Amphitheatre red carpet. White was one of the evening’s hottest trends. From Paris Hilton to “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino, many opted for ivory, but no one did it better than Vanessa Hudgens, who flaunted a gauzy Jenny Packham minidress with silver jewels below the bust. The “Beastly” star let her frock take center stage, accessorizing sparsely with metallic peep-toe pumps and a simple silver necklace. “Up in the Air” actress and Breakout Star winner Anna Kendrick went the opposite route — a completely colorful low-cut black, red and pink floral Zac Posen dress finished with sky-high banded black pumps and her locks in beachy waves. While Anna was all feminine flirt, “Iron Man 2” star Scarlett Johansson chose sleek sophistication in a forest green belted Dolce & Gabbana lace shift dress and black pumps. She also showed off one of her newest accessories: her newly dyed blond locks. Another blond looking absolutely fabulous was “The City” star Whitney Port, who simply glowed in a sunny form-fitting yellow-and-gray strapless dress and silver mesh peep-toe pumps. And while most stars went short and sweet, “The Hills” hottie Lo Bosworth shined in a sophisticated floor-length coral Diane von Furstenberg Grecian gown. She completed her look with shoulder-grazing dangling earrings, silver bangles and a softly curled half-updo. Les Grossman Works Overtime At MTV Movie Awards With Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lopez

Show’s “producer” shakes his booty with J-Lo, horrifies Michael Cera and much more! By Kara Warner Les Grossman and Jennifer Lopez perform at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ FilmMagic Resident “mega mogul” Les Grossman has been working overtime the last few weeks. First, he helped MTV promote the Movie Awards with three terrific and twisted promo spots . Then, Grossman, who was revealed to be “the producer of this year’s MTV Movie Awards ,” helped kick off the awards show with a special intro video . And third, he brought the house down with a showstopping musical number with two VIP guests. If anyone deserves a special Movie Awards shout-out, it’s Grossman. The intro vid kicked off with Grossman’s trademark booty-shaking, after which he announced to viewers his professional mantra: “Movies are a marriage of picture and sound. My job is to get them drunk and to f—, and the illegitimate baby they make is called entertainment.” Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are then revealed to be standing in the room, looking annoyed to be back listening to Grossman’s drawn-out speeches. The “Twilight” stars ask why they’re there, to which Grossman answers: “Two words.” And his assistant finishes: “Bad Ass Cops.” Cut to a spoof action movie trailer, in which Pattinson, toting a blazing gun and sporting a ridiculous blond handlebar moustache, says to the camera, “Somebody ask for a light?” To which Lautner, with a similar ‘stache, aviators and a faux leather jacket, adds, “It’s time to whip up some trouble!” and cracks a whip. Other highlights include Grossman’s purchase of “Matching Michael Cera bookends,” with the camera panning over to a dejected-looking Cera holding a stack of books. “I want to go home,” Cera pleads. And in a particularly profound teaching moment with Jaden Smith and his father, Will Smith, Grossman and his assistant get in a few “Fresh Prince” and “Parents Just Don’t Understand” jabs, but young Smith gets the last word when the two engage in a brief karate fight. Jaden “finishes it” and breaks Grossman’s arm. Finally, he ends the bit by equating the awards show to a piece of coal he’d shoved up his rear end and miraculously turned into a diamond … “Enjoy my two-hour sh–,” Smith says. Grossman’s best moment came when he graced the actual Gibson theater stage at the Movie Awards. The mastermind took to center stage, mike in hand, and called out for his buddy, rapper Ludacris, to sing his familiar song “Get Back.” Grossman then joined a group of female dancers for a little impromptu dancing, heavy on the booty-shaking and suggestive moves. Roughly a minute into the song, the tune switched to J.Lo’s “Get Right,” at which point Jennifer Lopez herself waltzed onto the stage to dance with Grossman. The twosome showed off some practiced choreography, complete with an impressive use of canes, and for the big finish, Grossman dropped down into a half split maneuver and popped back up. ‘Harry Potter’ Clip At MTV Movie Awards Hints At Dark, Intense ‘Deathly Hallows’

Major portion of the final chapters will focus on Harry/ Voldemort relationship, footage suggests. By Kara Warner Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” Photo: Warner Bros. With every new glimpse of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” it becomes more and more apparent that the final two chapters of the Potter story will be the darkest and most intense yet. The latest clip, which debuted during the MTV Movie Awards Sunday, showed that a major portion of the first of the final two Potter films will be focused on the ominous relationship between Harry and He Who Must Not Be Named, Voldemort. It’s fitting, given that over the course of roughly a decade (seven books, soon-to-be eight films) Harry Potter has lived in the shadow of the dark wizard who killed his parents. The clip opened with the always foreboding-looking Voldemort (played by Ralph Fiennes) standing on an unknown peak, deep in evil thought. His voice is heard plotting Potter’s death, once again: “I have to be the one to kill [Harry Potter].” Cut to fast-paced imagery of Harry, Ron and Hermione at various places on their journey to track down the remaining Horcruxes and the Deathly Hallows; various action sequences that hint at the possible impending doom for our hero; an intense and emotional show-down between Harry and his best friend, Ron. Though we were hoping for a shot of the long-awaited Hermione and Ron kiss, we have to settle for the quick shot of Harry and Ginny’s romantic embrace before they part ways. While we know the studio is hesitant to reveal any spoilers for the movie, we still hoped to see a few more happy moments: Bill and Fleur’s wedding, Harry being named godfather of Lupin and Tonks’ baby, etc. What did you think of the new spot? T.I. Makes MTV Movie Awards His ‘First Awards Show’ Since Prison Stint

‘The last year when these awards were on, I was watching it from a much different position,’ he tells MTV News on the red carpet. By Todd Gilchrist, with reporting by Josh Horowitz T.I. arrives at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images At the MTV Movie Awards Sunday (June 6), T.I. appeared on the red carpet and talked about his pick for the evening’s biggest award: Best Movie . The rapper said he’s still undecided on who to vote for. “I’m split between ‘Avatar’ and ‘The Hangover,’ ” he revealed. “I love both of them for totally different reasons.” T.I. celebrated the fact that the Movie Awards was the first such ceremony he’s attended since being released from jail earlier this year. “This is actually the first awards show that I’ve had the pleasure of attending since my brief hiatus,” T.I. said. “So it’s nostalgic in a sense. The last year when these awards were on, I was watching it from a much different position.” T.I. revealed that in the wake of his recently released mixtape, F— a Mixtape , ” he would be releasing his next album, The King Uncaged, on August 17. But he also indicated that his post-prison comeback will happen across a number of media — including, appropriately enough, at the movies. “It gives me great pleasure to introduce this film ‘Takers’ to the world,” he explained. “It comes out August 20, and I’m also a producer on that film. It’s my first film as a producer and it’s an outstanding project with an ensemble cast. I worked with a phenomenal group of talented people and I’m happy to be here.” Relive the wildest, funniest and most jaw-dropping moments of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, watch revealing red-carpet interviews and get exclusive movie clips after the show at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Kristen Stewart, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry Light Up MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet

Stars sport summer whites, bold blues and plenty of shine. By Amy Wilkinson Kristen Stewart at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards red carpet Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage Hollywood’s hottest stars shined brightly — quite literally — on the 2010 MTV Movie Awards red carpet, as sparkle and bling dominated the evening’s sartorial choices along with white-hot and bold blue shades. “Jersey Shore” star and red-carpet correspondent Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi flaunted her curves in a white Dolce & Gabbana minidress with a diamond mosaic design, while co-star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola rocked a black-and-white bandage-style dress. “Beastly” star Vanessa Hudgens was also white-hot in a frilly, empire-waist, white Jenny Packham frock with silver-jeweled detailing, as Paris Hilton showed off her gams in a cream-colored feathered mini by Blumarine. And the girls weren’t the only ones working their summer whites, as “Jersey Shore” star Vinny Guadagnino walked the carpet in a white suit jacket paired with a white T-shirt and jeans. Blue was the other standout color of the night, though, sometimes it manifested itself in unexpected ways. “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry showed up in a bright blue wig, which seems to be her new go-to awards show ‘do, as she sported a similar wig at the Kids’ Choice Awards in March. Although Perry joked she’d be naked during Sunday’s (June 6) performance, she actually showed up nude, well, wearing nude in a long-sleeve sheer number with strategically placed rhinestones. “Eclipse” and “The Last Airbender” star Jackson Rathbone was also singing “the blues” in a teal satin jacket, while the lovely Eva Mendes looked stunning in a turquoise-and-silver Stella McCartney one-shoulder dress. Lindsay Lohan bared plenty of cleavage in a sparkling silver Pamella Roland jumpsuit, as did “Eclipse” star Elizabeth Reaser, clad in a slightly more demure black tuxedo-style jumpsuit. Couture was the word for songstress Christina Aguilera who donned a black Versace gown with plenty of interesting details, including chains and peacock-esque feathers cascading from the back. And did we mention Christina’s Rihanna-inspired updo? Kristen Stewart was also a designer darling in a D&G dress with a sparkling gold top and silver skirt bottom. “Up in the Air” nominee Anna Kendrick was arguably one of the most colorful dressers of the night in a flirty, floral-print red Zac Posen dress. “The City” star Whitney Port also opted for color: a cheery yellow-and-gray minidress that played well off her blond hair. For the men, the standard uniform seemed to be a suit jacket and jeans. Zac Efron sported a gray jacket with a baby-blue button-down (strategically unbuttoned at the top, of course). Taylor Lautner donned his signature leather jacket look, while Paul “DJ Pauly D” Del Vecchio rocked a black jacket and white tee. “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” star Michael Cera eschewed this dress code, opting for a multicolored polo shirt that made him look a bit like a fast-food employee. ‘Eclipse’ Exclusive Scene Turns Up The Jacob/Edward Tension

Bella’s torn between two loves in the parking lot clip that premiered on the MTV Movie Awards. By Larry Carroll Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart in “Eclipse” Photo: Summit It’s been said (rather crassly) that the plotline of “Eclipse” boils down to a young woman’s choice between bestiality and necrophilia. On June 30, “Twilight” fans all over the world will finally be able to feast their eyes on Bella’s struggle to reconcile her feelings for monstrous Jacob and undead Edward. Those watching tonight’s MTV Movie Awards, however, just received an exclusive sneak peek at her indecision — and now, the clip is here to appease your own ravenous, to-die-for appetite. “Charlie said you left town,” Jacob (Taylor Lautner) says, confronting Bella (Kristen Stewart) with Edward (Robert Pattinson) at her side in the Forks High parking lot. “Yeah,” responds Bella, who has her hoodie pulled up over her head. “To visit my mom. Why?” “He’s checking to see if you’re still human,” sneers a defensive Edward. Although lots of big news is bound to be made at the Movie Awards, few moments have garnered as much anticipation as this clip, one of the few full scenes to be released from David Slade’s “Eclipse.” The scene helps set up a plotline involving evil vampire Victoria and gives fans a glimpse of the shifting dynamic between the three leads. “Look, I’m here to warn you,” steams Jacob, clearly taking over the alpha-dog mentality and looking very little like the Jacob of the original “Twilight” film, whom Edward could easily have knocked on his heels. “If your kind come on our land again …” “You should leave,” Edward shoots back. “Now.” “She has a right to know,” responds Jacob, looking noticeably — um — wetter than you might expect. “She is the one the redhead wants.” “I was trying to protect you,” Edward says to Bella. “By lying to me!” she retorts, moments before hopping onto Jacob’s motorcycle and riding off. Fans will undoubtedly spend the next few days breaking the scene down as if they were a Cullen picking apart a deer’s bones. And one aspect that should promote conversation is KStew’s ability to hold the scene and steer it, despite being the physically smallest person in the frame. A lot has been written about Taylor’s increasingly formidable screen presence — but this brief clip reminds us once again why Kristen is the true heart and soul of these films. For good measure, our friends at Summit Entertainment have peppered the end of the scene with a quick montage of action-heavy shots from “Eclipse.” Although the majority have been seen previously in trailers, they never get old: Victoria under attack, newborns emerging from the water, Jackson Rathbone’s Jasper on the attack, Victoria in the tree and a few more clips worth freeze-framing. All in all, it’s enough to make fans look away from the Movie Awards just long enough to ask one simple question: Is it too early to vote for next year’s show? Snooki, ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Rock MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet

Katy Perry proposes ‘threesome’ to co-hosts Snooki and MTV News’ Sway during pre-show. By Josh Wigler Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images The red carpet at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards was an even livelier affair than usual this year, thanks to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of the “Jersey Shore,” who co-hosted the evening alongside Sway. With all of her signature outrageousness, Snooki relished in the opportunity to interview several celebrities, including “High School Musical” and “Beastly” star Vanessa Hudgens. “You two are so cute together, just got to say it,” Snooki told Hudgens of her relationship with Zac Efron , nominated for his performance in “17 Again.” “You’re so gorgeous you look amazing tonight.” Snooki wasn’t the only one giving out compliments, as Hudgens returned the favor telling the reality TV star that she was acting like “a veteran pro” on the red carpet. The night’s conversation escalated when “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry informed Snooki and Sway that they should all “have a threesome” — a proposition Sway said he “wasn’t scared” to follow through on. But the sexiest action on the red carpet occurred off-camera, as MTV’s reporters on the ground witnessed a big kiss between Snooki and her “Jersey Shore” co-star Jenni “JWoww” Farley. “She got me into it,” JWoww laughed of the kiss. Snooki, however, wasn’t all hugs and kisses. As she was about to announce the winner of the Best Fight award, Snooki turned to the crowd and shouted: “What up bitches! Yo, I have an award to give out for Best Fight, just sayin’!” The fans at home couldn’t stop talking about Snooki, taking to Twitter with comments such as “Snooki is even tinier than I thought. I wonder if she’s ever not allowed on roller coasters?” and “I’m surprised Snooki doesn’t have her poof.” But even if most eyes were on Snooki, her fellow “Jersey Shore” co-stars were enjoying the night as well. “This is amazing,” Pauly D said of the experience. “We’re so happy to be here. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect this.” Of course, Snooki remained firmly in the spotlight. Finally reunited with her “Jersey Shore” castmembers, Snooki paid a compliment to JWoww: “Your boobs look phenomenal tonight.
