Miley Cyrus celebrated her first Valentine’s Day as a married woman and she gave us something way better than chocolate or flowers. More wedding photos!! The singer took to Instagram to express her love for new husband Liam Hemsworth. And there’s a lot of love. In honor of their first Valentine’s Day together, the singer shared several never-before-seen photos to her social media accounts on Thursday from her and Hemsworth’s wedding. Which was an intimate and secret ceremony that was held at Cyrus’ home in Tennessee on December 23, 2018. “My Valentine every single day,” she captioned the first image, which shows Liam with his eyes closed and her with her mouth wide open. Typical. In another, Cyrus thanked her 6 foot 3 husband for “always bending down” to hug her. She then promised to always meet him “in the middle” on her “tippiest toes.” “I love you Valentine!” She wrote. And while we love getting a glimpse at their adorable faces, we want more!! And she provided. Sharing an enchanting photo of their simple wedding cake, which Hemsworth can be seen smiling behind. The next three photos were solo shots of Miley in her striking off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood wedding gown. Two of the photos also showed off her delicate wedding bouquet which consisted of white and pale-colored flowers. But before the singer released the photos from her special day, she shared something else that offered, well a little less taste. The 26-year-old shared an extremely cheeky snapshot to Twitter and her Instagram story from her Bangerz tour , which showed her legs raised in the air as she wore a high-cut bodysuit. To which she captioned “When it’s valentine’s day and bae says hi.” Don’t worry, she tagged Liam’s Instagram so he knew he was the intended recipient of the strange Valentine and writing, “Love you.” Over the weekend the Australian actor was briefly hospitalized for kidney stones and had to miss his Isn’t it Romantic premiere. Miley attended the film’s event for her beau, even posing for photos on the red carpet alone and with Rebel Wilson. A source told People on Tuesday that although Liam was hospitalized, “he was at home resting and will be fine.” In another Instagram post, Miley left a flirty message for Hemsworth while posing in front of a photo featuring him playing a saxophone. Which is something he does at the end of the rom-com satire. “Getting sick blows. But so do I. Get well soon babe. I love you,” she wrote. “Play that sax you sexy f -.” which followed with heart and kissing emojis. Liam issued a statement on his Instagram account after the premiere, as well, where he apologized for missing the event . He also gave a shout-out to his wife. “Sorry I couldn’t make it to the @isntitromantic premier tonight guys. Been dealing with some pretty annoying health stuff the last couple days,” explained the actor. “Lucky I have the best girl in the world to represent for me! Thanks for the support babe!” Hemsworth added. “I hope everyone enjoys the movie! It’s a perfect Valentine’s day flick so if ya ain’t got nothin better to do then go see it!” Hopefully, he was feeling better in time for his own special Valentine’s Day with his perfect WIFEY. Franchise and Landon take some time to explain what you may have missed out on, offer some expert insight and then when they’re all done, they’ll give them a rating of a 1-10. On January 11, 2019, The Weeknd linked with French DJ Gesaffelstein to release their collaborative single, “Lost In The Fire”. The track serves as the second single from Gesaffelstein’s second studio album which is titled “Hyperion”. Gasaffelstein previously worked with The Weeknd on the tracks “I Was Never There” and “Hurt You” which dropped last year, so having these two link again doesn’t come as a surprise. The Weeknd had also been sharing photos on social media of him and Gesaffelstein working in the studio so it was obvious that something was in the works. The song, though it’s only been out for a few weeks, has already had a bit of controversy. For starters, many believed that the track was about his ex-girlfriend at the time, Bella Hadid, and took a slight jab at his fellow Canadian artist and former colleague, Drake. The rumors were sparked by the first verse where The Weeknd says, ” “And I just want a baby with the right one/’Cause I could never be the one to hide one.” Many thought that The Weeknd was shedding light on Drake hiding the fact that he was a father from the world. This week we are also going deep into the movie world and discussing the film everyone is talking about, A Star Is Born, starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The movie dropped back in October but since then it has racked up a ton of award show wins and nominations. It’s obvious that the film was a hit amongst critics. Last year, disgraced former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle lost his appeal . But for all of his efforts to regain his freedom, his 15-year-sentence doesn’t sound too rough. According to a man who spent months in bars alongside him, Jared is living his best life. That’s kind of disappointing, right? Despite his many efforts to win his freedom, Jared Fogle remains behind bars, where he belongs. But just a couple of weeks ago, 41-year-old Marc Brooks was released from the same facility. Brooks had spent eight months serving his sentence alongside the disgraced former sandwich spokesman. And he tells The Daily Mail that Jared’s time behind bars isn’t exactly The Shawshank Redemption . “‘Yo, he’s living the life in there,” Brooks characterizes. He continues: “he’s eating good, working out, cooking…not a care in the world.” “It’s like Club Fed,” Brooks assesses. “They’ve got a movie theater, a fully-equipped gym with weights, ellipticals, StairMasters, cable weights.” “Outside,” he continues. “They have a baseball field, tennis court, soccer field, horse shoe pits, a bocce ball court and corn hole.” Of Fogle, Brooks says: “He got his culinary arts certificate while all these other sex offenders were getting their GEDs and stuff. I took the photos.” We’re not sure who would want to knowingly eat food prepared by an infamous pedophile, but that’s neither here nor there. “Subway Guy is in the low security section,” Brooks shares. “He’s in a dry cell, that means the door is never locked.” So, Brooks explains, “he can wander around and use the phone, use the computers, use the movie theater, whatever he wants.” That makes a kind of sense. Fogle probably isn’t a danger to the guards unless it’s a poorly conceived take-your-child-to-work-day. “When I first got there I was like ‘man, you guys have got it made in here!’ I couldn’t even believe it was a prison,” Brooks says. Notably, people are much more likely to emerge from prison reformed when they are treated like actual people while behind bars. “It’s more like a daycare than a prison,” Brooks marvels. “There’s a hobby section there for painting, leather work…there’s people making little toy cars, carpentry,” he says. “There’s dudes in there who do crochet and knitting,” he adds. Brooks also reports the existence of pool tables, ping pong, and dart boards. “He gets a lot of down time, there’s a recreation station with cards, Monopoly, Risk,” Brooks says of Fogle. “So,” he says. “He can sit outside in the sun and chill with his little sex offender buddies.” “He’s getting money that he can spend in the commissary store,” Brooks notes. Not so long ago, Jared Fogle was worth $15 million. “They have fancy snacks in there,” he characterizes. “Stuff like candy, chips, meats, tuna, mackerel, real nice foods.” Despite that, Fogle is apparently looking healthier than ever. “He looks real healthy and fit,” Brooks says of the disgraced former spokesman. “I’d say he’s about 180-200 pounds,” Brooks estimates. “He’s 6’2′ so that’s about perfect.” Sure, though of course ideal weight has to do with many health factors, not just height. But it’s Jared Fogle, so we’re not terribly invested. “When I first got there I would make fun of him,” Brooks says, noting that Fogle was an easy target for ridicule. “We’d shout things like, ‘hey Subway are you going to try and get a job at Quiznos or Jimmy John’s next?'” Brooks says. Apparently, Brooks was serving time after an arrest by the Bad Joke Police. “After that I just kept my mouth shut,” he says. “I didn’t want to go anywhere near him or his nasty sex offender buddies.” “There’s one sex offender on the range making little stuffed animals,” Brooks accuses. “What’s he going to do with them when he gets out? It’s horrible.” There’s a difference between someone honing a craft for work or therapy and someone perfecting skills that they could use as a predator. “I was totally grossed out by all the pedophiles in there,” Brooks admits. “Sometimes you’d want to punch them, because of the disgusting stuff they would say, but I never did that,” he shares. He explains: “I didn’t want to mess up and get extra time, I wanted to get home to my momma and my sister.” That sounds very reasonable. 2018 was a huge year for animated films with flicks like Incredibles 2 and Ralph Breaks The Internet. Come to think about it, it was a big year for sequels as well. 2019 seems to be picking up where last year left off, but with a bang. The Lego Movie 2 hit theaters this week, and just like it’s predecessor which was released in 2014, The Second Part was chock full of stars. Chris Pratt , Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett are back to reprise their roles as Emmet, Lucy and Batman. But this time around, the gang has to defend their beloved Bricksburg from Duplo invaders who have turned the town into a post-apocalyptic wasteland named Apocalypseburg. After General Sweet Mayhem, the leader of the Duplo army (played by Stephanie Beatriz) kidnaps Batman, Lucy, Benny, Metalbeard, Unikitty and takes them to the Systar system, Batman is taken to Queen Wa’Nabi where he find out that she helps satisfy his emotional validation. The others are placed in environments design to tempt them, and they each fall for these temptations, except Master Builder Lucy. Once again, it’s up to Emmet Brickowski to save his friends and get his town back to normal. And speaking of Queen Watevera Wa’Nabi — who better to voice the shape-shifting alien Queen of the Systar System than Queen Tiffany Haddish . On this episode of Extra Butter, we sat with the cast the adventure comedy as they dished on all things Lego Movie 2. They even spilled a little relationship advice on baed on Lucy and Emmet’s interesting relationship. Should push people to their potential, or just love them as they are? Elizabeth told us, “I do think you want people to grow and evolve a little bit and shake them out of a routine that they can’t even perceive. I think we all get stuck in those things. It often takes an outsider or another view on it to sort of shake you out of what you’re doing. But at the same time, I don’t think Lucy wanted [Emmet] to change, I think Lucy wanted Emmet to explore another side of himself. And he does that work in then film, then comes to his own conclusion about what is authentic to him. And I think that’s what we’re all striving for.” The cool cast sure knows a thing or two about being authentic — especially Tiffany Haddish. B lack women are displaying excellence in all fields, especially in the realm of sports. A group of women from Antigua recently hit a major milestone by becoming the first all-Black women’s rowing team to cross the Atlantic Ocean, Black Enterprise reported. The competition is a premier event in ocean rowing. The team—which included Kevinia Francis , Christal Clashing , Elvira Bell , and Samara Emmanuel —embarked on their journey on December 12 in the Canary Islands and returned to Antigua at the end of January. Their journey was nothing short of grueling but the women pushed through and persevered. The entire trip was a total of 3,000 miles and they dealt with sea sickness and complications with their boat. Each woman brought their vast athletic experience to the competition. Francis was known for playing a handful of sports including track-and-field, basketball and cycling, Clashing is a former Olympian who became the first woman swimmer to represent Antigua and Barbuda at the Olympics, Bell is a swim instructor, and Emmanuel’s experience as a sailor spans over a decade. Junella King —a 17-year-old who served as an alternate for the team—worked as a sailing instructor. The competition was about more than rowing, the focus was on social good as well. The team competed to raise $150,000 for a charity called Cottage of Hope which focuses on providing shelter for orphaned girls who experience abuse.
