Actress Marla Sokoloff delivered a daughter, Elliotte Anne Puro, at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, February 8 in California, her rep confirmed to People Magazine. “Mom, dad and baby are happy as can be and completely in love with each other,” Sokoloff, 31, said of the seven-pound arrival with husband Alec Puro. It’s the first child for the couple. The Chateau Meroux star blogged recently that “in the grand scheme of things, these nine months went by pretty quickly.” “Yes, there were weeks that seemed endless and yes, I complained about my feet swelling up like balloons and the general discomfort that comes with the end of pregnancy – but all in all the journey has been one that I will never forget.” Congratulations to the whole family!
This week on the Jersey Shore, the “family” continued to experience all kinds of ups and downs. Vinny fell for a lesbian, Pauly acquired a new stalker, JWoww fought with Roger, Snooki acted ridiculously and no one could figure Mike out. Pretty standard stuff, really. We are happy/sad to report that no one threw down! How did it all play out in Seaside Heights? Let’s recap Jersey Shore , THG style! The Situation gets the dirt from his brother on his recent date with Deena’s sister. Yep, that happened. As if this crew weren’t incestuous enough. Minus 12 . “The real Mike is back and I love watching all the $h!t he does.” – Pauly, after Mike decides he’s going all out to start some $h!t again. Game on, brah. Plus 5 . Mike’s plan to CRUSH Snooki by having his boy The Unit tell Jionni all about Sitch and Snook’s sexy times failed because Unit was in Miami. Too bad? Plus 11 . Snooki tries to hang out with The Situation. Always a dangerous move. Minus 3 . Vinny juggles two girls at the bar. Good to be back, right? Plus 11 . Deena keeps Vinny’s other girl occupied. Wing-meatball! Plus 8 . The more “hotass” of the two is Nicki, who is a lesbian. Vinny tried to get it in anyway, and Plus 7 for the effort, but Minus 14 for delusions. She bounced. JWoww ducks out early, hella annoyed that Roger was dodging her calls even though he was down the street on the boardwalk. We smell drama. Minus 9 . The next morning, Jenni finally got ahold of Roger, who said he didn’t have a phone and that’s why he took the day off. Sketchy, and she knows it. Minus 1 . Snooki attempts to master the art of sitting in a hammock. Fail. Minus 5 . Snooki cleans the Smush Room bed. Plus 15 for even attempting that, but Minus 40 for the imagery of some of the things that have probably gone on there. Snooki finds a hiding spot on the deck. Very stealthy. Plus 27 . Snooki complains about sunlight and mused that it’s always dark in Arkansas. Minus 10 because that’s not even true, and Minus 30 because she meant Alaska. Probably. Vinny’ smush with the backup girl was average. Good to know. Minus 5 . “Released some demons, you know.”- Vinny. Gross. Minus 13 . Deena and Snooki decide to skip out on their shift at the Shore Store. BOLD move, since it’s not actually a real job and the store only “hires” them for PR. Minus 10 . “Danny’s such an annoying.” – Deena. At least he’s not trying to “do sex.” Plus 8 . Pauly D has an encounter with his new stalker. Bosnian Grilled Cheese set the bar pretty high, so this girl had better be aware of what an elite club she’s in. Plus 4 . Are stalkers required to wear the same thing every day? Plus 3 . Roger told Jen he’d be an hour late for their date, which they canceled, as JWoww ripped him a new one without him having a chance to respond. Minus 8 . No Sammi and Ronnie drama to speak of, at least! Plus 22 . In a turn of events, Sitch went out for a drink with Deena and Snooki. Who he wants to ruin … about half the time. Dude’s moods are hard to predict, but Plus 5 . “A leopard never sheds its stripes.” – Deena, on Sitch. SO true. Plus 20 . The Situation teases Deena about becoming brother-and sister-in-law, but then gets nervous when Deena’s sister calls the house. Plus 9 for the expression above. Imagine Mike being your brother-in-law, though. Exactly. Minus 5 . Danny tells Deena and Snooki that if they get fired, they’ll have to leave the Seaside house. Minus 8 because there is absolutely no way MTV’s letting that happen. Pauly D and Vinny run into JWoww’s boyfriend at the gym. Dude’s not small. Plus 2 . He’s also not backing down after the way she acted, he tells them. Plus 3 . JWoww decides to swallow her pride and apologize to Roger. Plus 30 . The call (and episode) ended with an ultimatum: “So what’s it going to be?” Dun dun dun! EPISODE TOTAL: +17! SEASON TOTAL: +174! Jersey Shore …
They say the camera adds 10 pounds, but there are exceptions to every rule. A skinny, scruffy Macaulay Culkin resurfaced in N.Y. City yesterday and photos of him first posted on Entertainment Tonight have generated a lot of buzz online. A rep for the former child star slams speculation that the star is struggling in any way, despite his dramatically thinner appearance. Check it out below: Macaulay Culkin Photos The rep said: “Macaulay Culkin is in perfectly good health. For ET or any other media to speculate otherwise is thoughtless, irresponsible and destructive.” Explains a source of the shocking Macaulay Culkin photos: “He is just so thin naturally, so when he loses one pound it just looks like more.” A second insider cautions that Culkin has had “emotional issues” for years. Culkin and Friend with Benefits actress Mila Kunis called off their low-key, eight-year relationship in late 2010. He has not personally addressed the photos.
Poor Taylor Swift. Not only did this singer recently lose out on a role in Les Miserables (the part of Eponine went to Samantha Barks instead), but she reportedly lost a new love interest in the process. According to Us Weekly , Taylor met British actor Eddie Redmayne ( My Week with Marilyn ) while auditioning for the character in October 2011 and “they hung out in New York City with the movie’s execs. Taylor developed feelings for him fast.” Redmayne, who actually attended Eton College with Prince William, felt something for Swift, as well, an insider confirms, meeting up with her on January 24 in London and staying over the next night in Taylor’s hotel room. It’s unclear why. Alas, Swift returned home, learned she did NOT win the part in Les Miserables and then received doubly bad news: Redmayne was “not interested in a long-distance relationship,” this source says. Seriously, will Swift’s guitar ever be free from tear drops?!? [Photos: WENN.com]

‘Leave her alone!’ Adriana Lima says to MTV News after model’s comments got her in hot water with Patriots fans. By Christina Garibaldi Tom Brady comforts his wife Gisele Bundchen after the Patriot’s Super Bowl loss Photo: Getty Images NEW YORK — Losing isn’t pretty, just ask Gisele Bundchen . After her husband, Tom Brady, and his New England Patriots lost the Super Bowl to the New York Giants on Sunday night, the supermodel had a few choice words for the quarterback’s teammates — and it was all captured on camera. “My husband cannot f—ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time,” she said, expressing her feelings about the disappointing loss. “I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” Bundchen has since been heavily criticized for the comments. While some fans argue that the supermodel was only defending her husband, others took issue with her placing the blame on Brady’s teammates. But there’s one camp that definitely has Bundchen’s back: the Victoria’s Secret Angels. MTV News caught up with some of the ladies on Wednesday (February 8) at the Victoria’s Secret Kiss and Tell Valentine’s Day Event, and they had a lot to say about the onetime Angel. “I think that everybody was getting so into the game, and I think that it’s her husband and she just really cared about it,” Lindsay Ellingson said. “I don’t think she meant anything bad by what she said and she was just so passionate, I don’t blame her. [She was] standing up for her man.” Although model Doutzen Kroes she didn’t know exactly what was said on Super Bowl night, she argued that Bundchen was justified. “I don’t know the whole deal about it,” Kroes said, “[But] I think you always have to stand up for your husband, you’re a team. And you know if she did that, I would’ve done the same.” Fellow Brazilian Adriana Lima , who had her own Super Bowl highlights with two prime-time commercials, quickly came to the defense of her friend, saying, “Leave her alone!” Do you feel Gisele was justified in defending Tom Brady? Pressed mams is one of our favorite skinfinitions- terms for nude phenomena so common, yet so hard to describe, that Mr. Skin had to step in and give them a name. “Pressed mams” are breasts pressed against glass, as illustrated by Uschi Digard in The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), Alyssa Milano in Poison Ivy 2 (1996), and now by Playboy model and second-generation famous person (her father is rocker Gavin Rossdale) Daisy Lowe . Daisy takes off everything but her jewelry for the new issue of Love magazine, which is fast becoming the fashion rag of choice for those interested in what models aren’t wearing. Daisy presses various parts of her body (elbows, shoulders, etc) against a pane of glass for the shoot, but it’s this tit shot that has us pressed up against our zippers. For more girls under glass, check out our Pressed Mams: Boobs Against Glass playlist right here at MrSkin.com!
Marvel’s heroes may have rocked the Super Bowl, but we pit them against Batman in The Weekly Rising . By Kevin P. Sullivan “The Dark Knight Rises” movie poster Photo: Warner Bros. Pictures The Super Bowl didn’t just mean victory for Giants fans. It represented a victory for comic book fans everywhere, because after years of waiting, we got to see the Avengers assembled. We can finally grasp what the event we’ve been waiting for will look like, and it rocked. What does this have to do with Batman and the upcoming “Dark Knight Rises,” you may ask? Well, a few weeks ago, we held a little tournament call MTV Movie Brawl , and the two biggest superhero movies of the summer faced off in the first round. Batman won by a narrow but significant margin, leaving little doubt about which movie fans want more. The win for “The Dark Knight Rises” could have been predicted, considering that Warner Bros. had already released two trailers and a prologue and that the previous film in the series was literally the biggest superhero movie of all time. But now that “The Avengers” has the benefit of a second and arguably better trailer, how do the two previews stack up? The Atmosphere The Marvel Universe movies have never been deathly serious. Sarcasm and humor underline most of the action. The trailer for “The Avengers” takes the same approach, avoiding the grave tone of Christopher Nolan ‘s Gotham and the “Dark Knight Rises” trailer. Nolan established a concrete look and feel for his Batman movies, and the trailer does its job to get that across. Both feel true to what fans expect from the respective franchises, so neither can really get the edge here. The Voice-Over Both short but equally sweet, the trailers start off with voice-over narrations from supporting characters in the series, Michael Caine ‘s Alfred and Samuel L. Jackson ‘s Nick Fury. They set the stage for the rest of the action in the trailer and solidly ground the new footage in the tradition of the previous films. Our vote goes to Michael Caine for a few reasons. He gets the benefit of a young boy creepily singing the national anthem, yes, but it’s more than that. Alfred has done so much more to be a beloved character. Fury just shows up at the end to tease awesome stuff you’ll have to wait years for. Alfred wins. The Villain “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight Rises” take two very different approaches to handling their villains. Bane stands front and center, blowing up a stadium without any notion of subtlety. The alien invaders from “The Avengers” remain hidden, their true identities one of the film’s greatest mysteries. The benefit of not hiding who you are is that you get to do a lot more intimidating stuff in the trailer. Bane throws down while the aliens can’t stay onscreen long enough to get any action in. Victory goes to Bane. The Action We’ve dissected each aspect of the “Dark Knight Rises” trailer more times than we care to recalled, but a lot of it depends on how you feel about stadium demolition. “The Avengers” combines the best action bits from the previous movies and says, “Here, remember all this cool stuff? Now you get it in one movie.” But who will ever admit to not thinking that Iron Man always looks so freaking cool when he’s flying? It’s awesome every time. The Big Shot As much as we love Batman, you cannot compete with that circle shot of the entire “Avengers” assembling. You cannot. Yes, the Bat looks great and will make for great eye candy when “The Dark Knight Rises” hits, but that single shot from the “Avengers” trailer justified that movie’s existence in a matter of seconds. It was fanboy fantasies projected directly onto a screen. By our scientific calculations, that puts “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight Rises” in a dead heat. You know why? Because they both look incredible, and everyone in the world will see both.
