Antoine Dodson , the man behind the viral video sensation “Bedroom Intruder” was busted by Alabama PD for marijuana possession. According to TMZ the internet celeb was a few days late celebrating 4/20 when cops popped him around 2:30 am Saturday the 23rd. Dodson was booked on misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana and released a short time after. In addition to the weed charge Dodson was hit with several other misdemeanors, including failing to appear on a traffic charge, failing to have insurance and speeding. The movie isn’t coming to a theater near you anytime soon, but how better to celebrate the majesty of Nature on Earth Day than with a groovy naked chick? Back in 2007, Sienna Miller was set to star in Hippie Hippie Shake , a biopic about controversial Australian publisher Richard Nellville , as Richard’s earth mama girlfriend Louise. The movie contains plenty of nudity from Sienna, like a full frontal skinny dipping scene, seen here in still pictures taken on set. Despite the historically inaccurate landing strip, those who have seen Hippie Hippie Shake say Sienna is the picture of all-natural beauty, not even wearing makeup for most of the film. Too bad it’ll probably never be released. The movie rights to Nelville’s book were first bought in 1998, and after two failed attempts to get the movie off the ground, it was shot in 2007. Sienna’s personal drama with Jude Law delayed the first scheduled release in 2008; then, an announced 2010 release date came and went without the film being shown. Hollywood rumor is that Hippie Hippie Shake is “unreleasable,” and members of the initial creative team are now disassociating themselves with the project, which right now has no scheduled release date. 50 Cent is rumored to be going after DJ Pauly D of MTV’s wildly popular Jersey Shore with a three-album contract in hand. 50 wants to sign the DJ and reality television star to his G-Unit label. TMZ reports that 50 & Pauly met recently in New York City to discuss the record deal. Also on the agenda were talks about a potential line of Pauly D-branded headphones. No signatures have been committed to paper yet, but it’s believed that 50 wants the deal done before Pauly and the rest of his Jersey Shore cast head to Italy to film the show’s fourth season. Carter John Travolta, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC Even the help of swift-footed John Travolta couldn’t get Kirstie Alley more points from the judges on Monday night’s “Dancing With the Stars.” Alley’s “Look Who’s Talking” co-star appeared in a pre-taped segment as her “Dance Doctor.” The actress and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, have been grabbing headlines the last few weeks with their dancing mishaps, and Travolta, who has swiveled his hips in films like “Pulp Fiction,” “Grease” and “Saturday Night Fever,” gave his friend a few pointers, joking in the segment that Alley should wear gym shoes instead of high heels. Still, the comedic bit wasn’t enough to bolster a higher score. The two earned 23 points out of 30 (only one point better than the week before), putting them ahead of three couples, who each earned 22 points. Here’s how the others fared: Hines Ward and Kym Johnson: The football star soared to the top of the leaderboard with his rumba to “God Bless the U.S.A.” “You make it look so easy,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. “You have the best hip action I have seen in a long time.” Score: 27/30. Romeo and Chelsie Hightower: The two performed a foxtrot to “New York, New York,” and impressed the judges with the improvement in Romeo’s posture and arm movements. Score: 26/30. Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel : The former playmate and reality star danced a foxtrot to “Yankee Doodle,” and the judges said she’s improving. “It’s much better than last week,” Goodman told her. “It was fun and it was entertaining.” Still, it wasn’t enough to keep them out of the bottom three. Score: 22/30. Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin: The supermodel and her partner quick-stepped to Elvis’ “Viva Las Vegas,” but judges were none too impressed. Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff: Once the early darlings of this season, they’ve dropped to a three-way tie for the lowest score this week. Movie experts weigh in on why Ghostface didn’t scare up impressive returns for the franchise. While Indy’s franchise and McClane’s “Die Hard” films took lengthy breaks from the multiplex and returned with impressive box-office debuts, “Scream 4” got off to a start that fell on the low end of projections. The horror flick’s $19.3 million debut on more than 4,400 screens was, in fact, a major fall from the previous installment in 2000, which Box Office Mojo points out was $52 million when adjusted for ticket-price inflation. While insiders were hardly expecting “Scream 4” to live up to the performance of the original trilogy, the movie nonetheless failed to widely reconnect with moviegoers. So what happened? A combination of factors, according to industry experts, conspired to hold back the film and cast doubt on the idea that the Weinstein Company will be able to launch a fresh “Scream” trilogy. “Part of the reason that ‘Scream 4’ didn’t connect with audiences the way previous installments have is because of the overall climate change of horror films over the last decade,” said Jeff Bock, box-office analyst for Exhibitor Relations. “Whereas grisly deaths, bloodbaths and torture porn were once the order of the day, creepy and spooky — ‘Paranormal Activity,’ ‘Insidious’ — seem to be what horror audiences die for these days.” What’s more, it wasn’t just a matter of failing to link up with horror-movie trends but with broader changes in the entertainment landscape. ” ‘Scream’ was a pop-culture phenomenon of the late ’90s and it lost its relevancy soon after,” said Gitesh Pandya, editor of BoxOfficeGuru.com, pointing to that decade’s often heavily ironic humor. And then there’s a matter of Ghostface himself, a recognizable killer, to be sure, but one who’s by design changeable and thus potentially less iconic than other horror-movie villains. “The fact that Ghostface is a different person from movie to movie is both a good thing and a bad thing,” said Phil Contrino, editor of BoxOffice.com. “It creates suspense, but it also stops the character from becoming as powerful as Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers.” To all these issues add in the generally weak critical assessment, and you’ve got a recipe for a perfectly fine box-office debut but one that’s hardly impressive. While some insiders suspect the weak opening will dash plans to kick-start a new trilogy, others expect overseas ticket sales to compensate for subpar domestic business, increasing the likelihood of “Scream 5” shifting into production down the road. “This could end up grossing $100 million worldwide, which may lead to another sequel or reboot despite its lackluster Stateside debut,” Bock said. “Ghostface will likely terrorize audiences again, because the number-one rule for franchise fright flicks is: You can never keep a horror icon buried for long.” What did you think of “Scream 4”? Nikki Reed, Facinelli’s ‘Twilight’ co-star and McDonald’s girlfriend, brought the pair together for indie film’s soundtrack. By Kara Warner Peter Facinelli Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ Getty Images When he hasn’t been busy with the box-office-dominating “Twilight” movies or Showtime’s hit show “Nurse Jackie,” Peter Facinelli has been working on a passion project, “Loosies,” an independent film he wrote, produced and stars in. In addition to enlisting a high-caliber crew of actors for the project, MTV News has exclusively learned that Facinelli has teamed up with a very special musician to contribute music to the film’s soundtrack: recent “American Idol” castoff Paul McDonald . We caught up with Facinelli on Monday (April 18) to get the scoop on his exciting collaboration. “I was telling Nikki [Reed, McDonald’s girlfriend and Facinelli’s ‘Twilight’ co-star] I was looking for music for my movie, and she said, ‘You should look through Paul’s stuff,’ ” Facinelli recalled. “She was a big fan of his, I heard, and I thought it really worked for my movie, so I played some tracks over it, where we had temp tracks, and it just all worked. So I reached out to Paul, I sent him the movie, and he enjoyed it a lot, and he said he wanted to be a part of it, which I was stoked.” Facinelli added that McDonald’s original music is really inspirational and fit well with what he was doing on “Loosies.” “He has a band, and his band stuff is very different then what he was doing on ‘American Idol,’ ” Facinelli said. “I heard him on ‘American Idol,’ and I thought he was great, but when I heard the band, it’s very distinct and has a voice of its own, and I like the originality of it,” he explained. “So we’ll probably use most of the music from the two albums he has out now on iTunes,” which were recorded under the band names the Grand Magnolias and High Tide Blues. “Loosies” revolves around a pickpocket in New York, caught up in a fast-paced, hustlin’ lifestyle, until he is confronted by a woman with whom he had a one-night stand and is now pregnant. Facinelli is putting the finishing touches on the film before setting out to find distribution and hopefully a theatrical release.
