20 Alternate Titles for the Soon-to-be-Renamed Mission: Impossible IV

Fun fact about Mission: Impossible IV , the fourth film in the billion dollar Paramount franchise that Tom Cruise and the newly cast Jeremy Renner will lead into theaters in December of 2011: It won’t be called Mission: Impossible IV . As Variety points out, the Brad Bird-directed film will be a reboot, which means a new title is needed — one that might not even mention Mission: Impossible (like The Dark Knight didn’t mention Batman). Ahead, Movieline offers Paramount 20 suggestions. You’re welcome.

Real Housewives of D.C.’s Michaele and Tareq Salahi on Surviving Matt Lauer and a Possible Salahis Movie

Just before the first season of The Real Housewives of Washington D.C. premiered, Movieline caught up with Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the alleged White House gate crashers who endured a world of criticism (literally) when the dubious timeline of events leading up to their attendance at a state dinner was revealed. Help Find an Oscar-Winner With Movieline’s Exclusive Jean-Luc Godard ‘Missing’ Poster

So if you bet “yes” in yesterday’s poll of whether or not Jean-Luc Godard would personally accept his honorary Oscar at this fall’s Governors Awards, things aren’t looking good for you. A report late Wednesday notes that the Academy has yet to even find Godard to notify him — let alone invite the 79-year-old French New Wave legend to collect his winnings in person in Los Angeles. Godard’s absence persists as of this writing, a development that requires significant measures. Click through to join the hunt with Movieline’s official “missing” poster.
