Issa Rae Provides A Promising Update About The Return Of “Insecure”

What were we supposed to watch and discuss as a community? It seems like real life mess. But thankfully, Issa hasn’t completely stranded us. Recently, during a press tour for Television Critics Association, where Issa Rae was there promoting “A Black Lady Sketch Show.” She gave the people an update about her first HBO baby, “Insecure.” The writers are in the middle of scripting this season and will start shooting in September. So it’s coming. Also, the fourth season will contain ten episodes, as opposed to the eight we’ve been getting for the past three seasons. Email Submit The postponment was a result of the various projects that took both Issa Rae and Natasha Rothwell away from the writer’s room. Since the last season, Rothwell has been attached to several projects including “Star vs. The Forces of Evil,” “DuckTales,” Limited Partners, Sonic the Hedgehog, Wonder Woman 1984, and Wyrm. Angry Orchard Employees Fired After Racially Profiling A Black Couple During Wedding Proposal

Source: Roy Hsu / Getty After a Black couple’s marriage proposal at the Angry Orchard brewery in upstate New York was completely ruined due to staff  repeatedly accusing the couple and their friends of theft , the beverage company announced its decision to terminate all involved parties on Tuesday. “We reached out and spoke directly with the guest involved to express our sincerest apology and offered to make it right,” Angry Orchard said in a statement obtained by  PEOPLE . “We badly mishandled the situation and our team overreacted.” Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news.  ( Terms and conditions ). Email Submit The news comes after Cathy Marie-Hamlet wrote a scathing Facebook post detailing her horrific experience on what should’ve been the happiest day of her life. Hamlet, 32, and her fiancé Clyde Jackson visited the brewery on Sunday to celebrate his 40th birthday with a group of friends. Little did she know Jackson had a surprise of his own in the form of a wedding proposal. But the couple’s moment was ruined as they were questioned three times by security staff over a stolen T-shirt. Hamlet, who is also a doctor, said staff ordered them to empty their pockets and purses in order to prove they had not stolen any items from the brewery’s gift shop. “If you don’t want Black People buying your product or frequenting your establishment, then maybe put a sign on the door so that we know we are not welcome. I love hard cider, but Angry Orchard will never touch these lips again,” she wrote in her Facebook post. Bossip   is reporting that the self proclaimed Queen of Media is powering through her separation from her husband as best as possible . During a recent appearance on The Karen Hunter Show , the New Jersey native got a little broken up when asked about possibly mending her broken nuptials with Kelvin Hunter. “Girl, no. Don’t ask,” she exclaimed. “I know what you’re saying, but my family is good, and we’ll always be family.” In an effort to secure the freshest brew of tea Karen asked if she is dropping the Hunter from her government name. The gossip maven had to hold back tears when answering the question. “No, my name is Wendy Hunter. That’s my son’s name and you can’t take away 20 [years]. Don’t make me cry” she explained. It seems she using this tough time as a springboard for a new project though. Rumor has it she is working with Will Packer of Girl’s Trip fame on her biopic. The movie is slotted to air on Lifetime in 2020. Idris Elba Says Lashana Lynch As 007 Is Amazing But The James Bonds Was Never My Role

Idris Elba is playing the black superman in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw as Brixton Lore but for a long time, he was rumored to be the black James Bonds. Recently it was reported that Captain Marvel star: Lashana Lynch will take on the role as 007, although not James Bond, but for years people thought of Idris for black 007. So when I sat down with him I asked him about his attachment to the role as well as the great opportunity for Lashana Lynch. Idris commented, “It was never tied to me, this the crazy thing it was never tied to me, there was a big rumor, I think people wanted to put into the ether and it just ran with it. I egged it on here and there just as a joke, but it was never tied to me. I’m very excited for Lashana, that she got it. It’s amazing. I think that’s the sign of the times.” In Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, Idris plays a genetically enhanced being named Brixton who wants to get his hand on a virus that can wipe out every weak human being and create a world of superhumans. David Eason: Did He Just CONFESS to Brutal Dog Murder?!

Back in April, David Eason shot and willed the family dog during one of his infamous fits of rage. He hid the evidence so well that police still suspect the whole thing was a hoax and a publicity stunt — but we certainly souldn't put it past him. Anyway, now that the dust has settled from Jenelle's custody battle (a direct result f David's decision to execute poor little Nugget), we're free to try and figure out what exactly happened that fateful night. And as expected, Davic comes off like a colossal douche. Check it ouy: 1. David and Nug By now, you know the story — feeling that his chidren were somehow in danger, David dragged the 11-pound Frenchie out of the house and shot it point-blank with a shotgun. 2. A Man and His Dead Dog Accounts vary, but it’s widely agreed that David believed the dog wad behaving too aggressively sho he went outside and shot it — while the children were at home. 3. Jenelle’s Choice Jenelle briefly left The Land after the shooting, but she quickly forgave David and returned home. 4. Losing It All Because Jenelle allowed David to stay in the home, CPS investigated and determined that the children should be removed and sent to live with relatives. 5. Mayonnaise Sandwich Time The incident also cost her her job on MTV, which was Jenelle and David’s sole source of income. 6. Elaborate Con? Due to an apparent lack of physical evidence, police determined that the whole thing may have been a hoax designed to drum up publicity. View Slideshow

Irv Gotti & Ja Rule Denied Entry Into Da Club, Naturally 50 Cent Pounces

Even after more than a decade after their much publicized beef seemingly came to an end (least on records they did), 50 Cent continues to troll Irv Gotti and Ja Rule every single chance he gets and when video of Irv and Ja getting denied entry into S.O.B’s was released you knew Fiddy was going to have a field day with it. Taking to IG to mock and clown his fellow Queens brethren for not getting that good ol’ VIP treatment once reserved for “the world’s most talented record label, Murder Inc.,” 50 played the clips of Irv and Ja getting into an argument with security at S.O.B.’s while cracking up without a care in the world (we’re surprised no one tried to get 50 Cent to play a hyena in The Lion King with that signature cackle of his). “Let me take my shirt off cause i’ma do nothin’!” Fif commented in a clip of Ja attempting to remove his garment at the entrance of the club only to leave it on before bouncing. “Exclusive footage of nothin’! Ni**a doing nothin’!” Can’t even front, the commentary from Fif was kinda funny. Though we know that they don’t try to, Irv Gotti and Ja Rule just be making it too easy for 50 to roast them sometimes. Between stuff like this and the Fyre Festival struggle , they just give the “Heat” rapper too much ammunition.
