Source: Noah Graham / Getty On Friday (August 2) Drake released a multitude of hits that never made it to the streaming services by way of a project aptly titled Care Package . In it features a cut with J. Cole called Jodeci Freestyle that ends with a harsh lyric that prompted an online petition to surface back when the track originally dropped. That petition garnered nearly 4500 signatures. Here’s the un-edited version below: The controversial lyric comes on Cole’s verse near the very end, “Go check the numbers, dummy, that’s just me gettin’ started/ I’m artistic, you n—as is autistic, retarded.” The second part of the bar is completely muted, and the beat continues to just carry on. Some people argue that it sounds more awkward than had they just left it alone. The two emcee’s were forced to acknowledge and apologize for those words. J. Cole by way of a blog post , while Drake spread his message through in OVO announcement .
Source: Amy Sussman / Getty We now know the fate of Jason Mitchell ‘s character in Showtime’s The Chi series. The actor was dismissed after misconduct allegations on the set became public, so it really come as a surprise. But just in case, spoilers ahead, but not really. According to Deadline , Mitchell’s character Brandon will be killed off. The actor was fired after Season 2 wrapped, which put exactly how the character would be removed in limbo—and now we know. When asked by Deadline after the network’s TCA executive session, Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine confirmed that Brandon is being killed off. “There is a lot of great life in The Chi, and there’s also death in The Chi, and that’s how we’ll be dealing with it,” Showtime’s President of Entertainment Gary Levine told Deadline when confirming the character’s demise. Back in May. Mitchell was accused of inappropriate behavior on the set with female co-star Tiffany Boone. However, he only got the heave-ho after multiple incidents and after it continued despite HR training. Executive produced and created by Lena Waithe, The Ch i is headed into its third season.
When criticizing reality stars, viewers often fall back on the “get a real job” argument. This is understandable, as some of the folks who have become obscenely wealthy from living their lives in front of a camera crew appear to do very little in the way of actual work. Amber Portwood, for example, pulls in a mid-six-figure income despite a lifestyle so indolent that she's adopted the sloth as her “spirit animal.” But not every star in the Teen Mom universe has adopted such a disdainful attitude toward work. Take Briana DeJesus, for example. Briana says she has a real job — and she also claims that putting in long hours week after week is really starting to pay off. Here's the latest on DeJesus' financial situation — and why her latest comments have left some fans confused: 1. Every Day She’s Hustlin’ Briana is the newest addition to the Teen Mom 2 family, which means she hasn’t been raking in MTV paychecks for her entire adult life like the rest of the ladies. 2. Started From the Bottom Sure, Briana got her start on Teen Mom 3, but the show only lasted for one season, which means there were several years in which she was a single mom without a reality show gig to pay the bills. 3. Cue the Dolly Parton Song Which means that, like most Americans, Briana had no choice but to start workin’ 9 to 5. 4. What a Way to Make a Living “I hate when people tell me to get a real job. I have one! I work in corporate America. Regular 9-5 like everyone else. I’ll never forget where I came from,” she recently tweeted. 5. What Does She Do? DeJesus revealed back in 2017 that she works for a travel company, but it wasn’t until this week that we learned she STILL works for the same company! 6. Keepin’ It Real DeJesus received widespread praise for her work ethic, with one follower replying, “It’s not on the show, and people don’t look beyond that. I give you credit for still keeping it.” View Slideshow

(Photo by Shareif Ziyadat/Getty Images) The 50 Cent and Rick Ross beef has caught a new wave. Rozay’s recent commentary has drawn a response from Hip-Hop’s troll master. As spotted on Complex Ross paid a visit earlier this week to Big Boy’s Neighborhood morning radio show. When asked about his prior problems with Fif the “Big Tyme” rapper revealed he has moved on and would even work with him if Curtis was in his bag. “Honestly, I’m a businessman. If 50 Cent still had value, I may have been done it. But not being funny, homie just ain’t that dude no more,” he theorized. “We was riding through L.A. smoking to ‘Hate It or Love It’ yesterday. That sh*t was dope. We was saluting Cool & Dre, that’s Miami who did the production. Game, 50 Cent… That was dope. Source: BRUNO SANTOS / Getty Most New Yorkers are familiar with the horror stories that revolve around the infamous Rikers Island jail complex and the corruption it entails, but at least it isn’t a Brazilian prison. CNN is reporting that a wild prison riot went down in Brazil’s Regional Recovery Center at 7am when a local gang “stormed” a wing in the facility and began a brouhaha that lasted several hours. After the smoke had cleared 57 people had been murdered and while the majority of them were believed to have been killed by asphyxiation, 16 of the victims were found decapitated. Ten of the 16 prisoners who were blamed for instigating the violence will be transferred to federal penitentiaries, state media reported, citing local authorities. More than 46 other prisoners will be moved to other prisons in Para. The incident is the latest outbreak of deadly violence in recent months to have taken place in Brazil’s often overcrowded and underfunded prison system. The local prison authorities said at the time the deaths were a result of violent clashes among rival factions within the same drug gang, known as the Family of the North. If you’re not familiar with how real things can get in Brazil we suggest you take the time this weekend to watch the cult classic City of God and learn that Brazil isn’t all about beaches and big booties in thongs. It’s really real down there, b.
Source: JIM WATSON / Getty So people have gone from licking ice cream to spitting in mouthwash to … urinating on stuff at Walmart? An incident Saturday in Porter, Texas happened where a teenager allegedly urinated on a shelf in a Walmart. The incident took place at the Walmart located at 23561 US-59 and video of the incident was shared on social media, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The alleged 15-year-old whizzer was with a group of other teens to attempt to steal a case of beer but they were stopped at the door by Walmart staff, according to deputies. What the staff didn’t realize, the 15-year-old had urinated on a shelf near the beverage aisle as they were leaving the store. It’s not the first video in recent days to emerge on social media of the act. A woman is wanted after she allegedly urinated on potatoes at a Walmart in Western Pennsylvania. Walmart staff in both incidents sanitized the area. Charges are expected to be filed against both parties. “The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will not tolerate these types of vulgar acts. Tampering with consumer products is not only morally reprehensible but can be a felony offense by which offenders will be charged,” the sheriff’s office said. Walmart issued the following statement: “This obscene conduct is outrageous and disappointing. As soon as we were notified, we sanitized the area to ensure its cleanliness and safety for our customers. We take this seriously and are working with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to find those responsible.”

Amber Portwood is facing three felony charges of domestic assault . This much we know. But what, exactly, is the evidence behind these charges? Following an alleged incident of violence on July 5 between Amber and boyfriend Andrew Glennon, numerous reports have outlined how Amber may be fired by MTV… may lose primary custody of her 14-month old son… and may be sent to jail. Simply because Andrew says she attacked him? No, of course not. Courtesy of Radar Online, we've rundown the evidence below that has been collected by the state in conjunction the very serious charges leveled against Portwood. This is why she may be in MAJOR trouble, you guys… 1. Here We Go Again? Yes. Portwood was also arrested in 2011 for assaulting then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. She ended up spending 17 months in jail after breaking probation when she was caught a couple years later with drugs. 2. Amber Has Referenced This Incident Many Times She’s admitted to being an “abuser” and said she has learned from her mistakes. If only that were true, however… 3. What Happened on July 5, 2019? Portwood and Glennon reportedly tried to take their young son to see a fireworks show in honor of America’s birthday. But they got caught in serious traffic and missed it. Amber then blamed Andrew for what happened. 4. From There? A whole lot allegedly transpired, starting with Amber screaming at Andrew and then throwing a shoe at his head. She has admitted to doing this, but has said the shoe barely grazed Glennon. 5. What Has He Said? That it left a major mark and that he was holding little James in his arms when it took place. 6. Andrew Has Said a Lot More, Too After the shoe was hurled, he says Amber threatened suicide, swallowing a bunch of Klonopin pills before throwing them back up. This, we believe, is when he texted 911. View Slideshow
You may not believe this, but Jenelle Evans has a few thoughts about Amber Portwood. The former Teen Mom star has jumped on Twitter to pass judgment on the current Teen Mom OG star, whose status as an MTV employee is now very tenuous… considering she was arrested on July 5 for domestic assault. Evans, of course, knows a thing or two dozen about domestic assault cases. She also knows something about losing custody of one's kids, a fate that befell Jenelle for about a month after her husband shot his family's dog — and which has now befallen Amber as a result of her arrest. Does Jenelle has sympathy for her long-time rival? Not exactly. Okay: Not at all. Scroll down to see what Jenelle now has to say about everything… 1. Let’s Start with the Obvious: Amber and Jenelle do not get along, not in any way, shape or form. 2. The Same Can Be Said About Amber and David Eason Remember how Portwood went off on Eason several months ago, labeling him a “disgusting clown?” 3. In Case You Forgot About It… … here is the Tweet Amber sent in January 2019. 4. Furthermore! Amber wanted to make it clear here that she was talking about Eason, admitting in the process that she was once an “abuser,” but also sticking her foot in her mouth — in hindsight — because she is now once again an alleged abuser. 5. She Is? Yes, you must have read some stories about this by now, right? Amber was arrested in early July and charged with THREE felonies because she supposed threw a shoe at boyfriend Andrew Glennon … while he was holding the couple’s 14-month old son. 6. That Isn’t All, Though Amber also reportedly said she wanted to die and tossed back a number of Klonopin pills. She then threw them up and this is when Glennon texted 911 for help. View Slideshow
In the wake of Amber Portwood’s arrest for felony domestic violence , multiple relevant questions have been bantered about by fans. Foremost among them? Will the Teen Mom OG star get fired by MTV? We’ve even asked readers to vote on this topic in the following poll: And the Winner is? Yes, she’s a menace! Click Here To Vote for YES No, give her a break! Click Here To Vote for NO Facing a trio of felony assault charges, should Amber Portwood be fired by MTV? View Poll » Based on what transpired on Thursday, however, it doesn’t appear as if Portwood is leaving the network any time soon. In fact, it almost appears as if she’s set to become an even more prominent player. As previously reported, Portwood attendeed a hearing yesterday in which she finally received a tiny bit of positive news: the no-contact order granted three weeks ago by a judge has been removed and she’s now permitted to spend time with her son. Under professional supervision, that is. (Elsewhere, the no-contact order against boyfriend Andrew Glennon remains in place; Amber cannot go near him.) Portwood is next due in court on August 22, during which time the next step in Glennon’s request to obtain full custody of 14-month old James will be addressed. Meanwhile, TMZ and other outlets have confirmed that MTV cameras were very much present and rolling outside of the Marion County courthouse when Portwood entered and exited on July 25. Teen Mom OG co-stars Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Cheyenne Floyd were all on hand; along with Amber’s ex, Gary Shirley and his new wife, Kristina. Were they there to offer support of their own free will? Or were they basically ordered to fly in by show producers who wanted to capture footage for a future episode? Nearly every sign points to the latter — which is understandable, we suppose, considering that Teen Mom chronicles the lives of these women and this is the main thing going on in Amber’s life right now. But it’s also sort of icky, isn’t it? To turn Portwood’s very serious domestic assault charge and custody battle into fodder for a TV show? Amber, of course, was arrested for domestic battery on July 5 after Glennon contacted police and claimed she hit him with a shoe while he was holding their child. She also allegedly wielded a machete during the incident and swallowed a bunch of pills prior to throwing them back up. Insiders have alleged that Portwood will be fired by MTV if the machete part of this story ends up being true, especially considering her history of violence — and even her history of threatening to quit Teen Mom last year because she was annoyed at how she was portrayed on the series. As for how her friends feel about these felony charges? “There is always two sides to every story… u r only hearing one side sooo [peace] out I love you @AmberLPortwood I’m on my way to you now,” Catelynn wrote on Wednesday, garnering some backlash and then adding: “I DO NOT condone abuse! I AM supporting a friend in need! That’s what friends are for. “When I went through all my crazy mental illness stuff my friend helped, [she] supported me, and loved me!!! And I’m going to do the same!” That’s a sweet sentiment, but: Can you imagine the reaction if gender roles were reversed. Can you imagine how folks would (rightfully) react if a male reality star were showing this sort of support for another male reality star accused of attacking his significant other? According to The Ashley, MTV really isn’t sure how to handle Amber’s ongoing legal drama . “The girls were technically done filming for the season, but this is obviously such a big part of Amber’s current story, it has to be documented,” one source told this well-connected website, adding: “What they do with the footage is still up in the air.” Seems impossible to believe it won’t air, right? Throughout all of this courtroom drama, meanwhile, Amber and Andrew are now battling over whether or not he cheated on her.
