Rihanna Is The World’s Wealthiest Female Artist

Even without a new album, the Bajan singer has been named the world’s wealthiest female artist thanks to a $600M fortune. According to Forbes , Rih Rih has banked more than Madonna, Céline Dion and even Beyoncé. It should be no surprise that music is just a small slice of Rihanna’s healthy financial pie. Says Forbes : Famous first as a singer, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, age 31, has since evolved into a style icon and makeup entrepreneur—and soon she’ll be the first black woman in charge of a major luxury fashion house. All those efforts add up to a $600 million fortune, making her the wealthiest female musician in the world, ahead of the likes of Madonna ($570 million), Céline Dion ($450 million) and Beyoncé ($400 million). Most of that comes not from music but from her partnership with LVMH, the French luxury goods giant run by billionaire Bernard Arnault. Rihanna (pronounced Ri-Ann-ah, not Ri-Ah-nah as she recently clarified) and LVMH co-own the makeup brand Fenty Beauty. It launched in September 2017 at Sephora, another LVMH brand, and online at FentyBeauty.com, quickly becoming a viral success. Fenty Beauty racked up a reported $100 million in sales in its first few weeks, propelled by Rihanna’s fame and 71 million Instagram followers. Congrats to Rihanna. Yeah, we simple like that. In the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping With Complex , the Migos’  Quavo makes us all proud when he links up with Joe La Puma to hit up Atlanta’s A Ma Maniere  where they talk kicks before he drops a King Kong sized grip on some official pieces of footwear. Reminiscing about how long lines were outside of the sneaker spot for the latest Jordan that he couldn’t get because his mama “wasn’t having that. She wasn’t having me being outside by myself waiting for no shoe,” Q now enjoys the privilege of being able to copp whatever pair of shoes he wants whenever he wants them. After is was all said and done Quavo went on to drop $11K on some Yeezy 700’s, Bapes, Adidas, Nikes, and Just Don apparel amongst other pieces. Best believe hypebeasts will notice that the “L A M B T A L K” rapper didn’t cop not a single pair of Jordans. Lord, how the game done changed. On the latest episode of Facebook Watch’s  Red Table Talk , the singer sat down with the matriarchs of the Pinkett-Smith family to explain the emotions that led to her split with Future, and how it helped her find the peace she feels today. Although Ciara doesn’t mention the rapper by name, at the episode’s 5:30 mark , she recounts the moment she realized it was time for her to leave Future.

The document was filed by Brazilian police in Sao Palo on Friday (May 31). However, Neymar claims he’s been set up. Reports the Associated Press : A Brazilian police document says an unidentified woman has accused soccer star Neymar of raping her in Paris last month. After the revelation, the player used Instagram to publish a 7-minute video that includes WhatsApp messages he says he exchanged with the accuser in a friendly way days later. Neymar calls the incident “a setup” and insists it is an attempt of extortion against him. The document obtained by The Associated Press on Saturday says the incident took place May 15 at 8:20 p.m. in a hotel. The woman went to police Friday in Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo state’s Public Security Secretariat, which oversees police, confirmed in a statement that the complaint was registered, but did not offer details. Serena Williams Wears Pro Feminist Off-White Outfit At French Open [Photos]

As spotted on  Page Six Serena wore a feminist forward outfit to the French Open. The fit was a custom Off-White for Nike black zip up top with a matching skirt. Each piece featured some pretty powerful and inspiring words in French including “Mother”, “Champion”, “Queen” and “Goddess”. The living legend detailed her intentions in an interview with the Tennis Chanel. “It has words in it in French. It talks about me being a mom and me being a queen, as all women are. A champion. It’s positive reinforcement for me, and I kind of love that” she explained. She also told AP NEWS “[the words on the jacket] are things that mean a lot to me and reminders for me and for everyone that wants to wear it.” Williams has a history of wearing statement pieces to the court.
