It also emerged yesterday that his genitals were removed and placed on the fireplace, while his eyelids were also severed. Grace Miano, 50, has been charged with his murder and waved at TV cameramen as she arrived in court this morning. The defendant, who wore a blonde wig in court, slumped forward in her seat before the hearing and at one stage was seen praying. Miano will now be subject to a psychiatric report. Miano is due back in court next Friday.

Relatives of Theodore Jones a.k.a Young Greatness confirmed to NOLA.com that he was gunned down Monday morning outside of a Waffle House on Eylsian Field Avenue. They add that he was in town for a funeral and on FaceTime with his manager when shots rang out. His car was also stolen but later recovered. Greatness is best known for his 2015 song “Moolah” that made it the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Police are currently searching for a person of interest in connection to his murder. R.I.P. Young Greatness.

It’s not looking too good right now, especially when the court throws a wrench in their plans. They find out that Nate Jr is being called to the stand as a surprise witness, something they weren’t prepared for. The thing is, Nate wrote a letter, when he was a kid, saying that he felt safer with his father behind bars. Nate claims he doesn’t even remember writing the letter and no longer feels that way, but that obviously doesn’t go over well in court, so Annalise and her students have to work in overdrive to figure out how to come out on top. Meanwhile, Bonnie is spiraling because Nate dug up a whole lot of trauma. She heads to Nate’s house to ask why he did what he did. In her mind, he meant to do her dirty, but we know that Nate is a genuinely good guy and he did a very naive thing. He explains that he did what he did because he thought it would help but Bonnie reminds him that he just triggered her all over again. She tried to kill herself over that situation and managed to get past it but now she’s going to have to try to build herself back up again. Nate wants to try to make it better but there’s nothing he can do at this point. Eventually, we find Annalise and Nate together kicking it and discussing the case. Nate said he lied on the stand and that he did actually remember writing the letter. Again, he was a kid when he wrote it, stressed out and angry with his father. When he saw the cops taking his father away he was upset and felt like the cops were the good guys and his dad wasn’t and he wanted to be like the cops. It’s clear that he feels terrible about that decision and he’s stressed about what his testimony did to the case but Annalise reminds him who tf she is! She took her appeals case to the supreme court and won. Do you think she’s going to lose in Philly? Nah! It’s going to be hard because the governor has a vendetta against her for doing this in the first place, and even sends a psychologist who worked with Nate Sr. years ago to testify and to poke holes in the insanity defense. Little did the psych know is that Michaela convinced Asher to dig up some dirt on him and basically, it’s clear that he works for the governor’s office so of course, he’s on the stand saying what’s necessary to stay in his boss’ good graces. His entire testimony gets thrown out because Annalise ain’t playing no games! Then Nate Sr. takes the stand and hold that thought… Bonnie ends up telling her boyfriend, Ronald, everything that happened in her childhood, and about her getting pregnant at 15 and now learning that her son might be alive. After hearing all of that he still wants to be with her and she is a wreck, but he consoles her and they come up with a plan. Hold that thought. The jury finally reaches a verdict and all of Annalise’s fierce fighting (and her students too) pays off. The jury’s verdict is not guilty by reason of insanity. Annalise’s poster case a victory. This. Is. A. Big. Deal. His father will be transferred to a suitable psychiatric facility. Nate Sr. and Nate Jr. have a beautiful moment in the courtroom where they hug it out and exchange forgiveness. Annalise talks to the press about how dope she is, Laurel lets Frank know that she knows he has been stalking Gabe for something a lot deeper than just researching Annalise’s students but we’ll have to wait for the answer. Finally, the episode wraps with Bonnie and Ron going to see her sister and then we cut back to the wedding. Connor looking for Oliver but he finds Asher going down on his mom. Ew! Topics of inequality and police brutality have been forced to the forefront of American dialogue. Because this is the digital age, everything is online and we’re seeing horrible acts of racism and violence every day. Years ago you would have heard of some of these stories, but you wouldn’t have seen the murder of innocent people who look like you before your own eyes. Now take that trauma that you experience from seeing images of police brutality and racism on repeat, and imagine dealing with that on top of the stress of being a teenager. The football team at an all Black private school in Prince George’s County, Md., has decided to follow in Colin Kaepernick’s footsteps and take a knee during the National Anthem. The team first broached the idea of taking a knee with new coach, Cornell Wade, in late August, according to NBC News . The first game of the season was a few days away. Josiah Gill, 17, spoke for the team when he said they understood. “We’re taking a knee because of inequality as a whole,” Gill said, according to the NBC News article. “We’re aware of what’s going on in this country as young black males.” “A lot of people love football,” Gill added. “You have them coming from places to see you do something, and why not take a knee, why not do this to show we see what’s going on in the world?” Like many American teenagers, Gill and his teammates have followed the debate over NFL players who kneel to call attention to racial injustice and police bias. As the league and team owners work to figure out how to penalize those players who protest, a handful of high schools around the country have confronted the issue as well. In some places where student-athletes knelt they were punished, or even kicked off of the team. Outside of Houston, two Black football players at a private Christian school who protested during the national anthem were kicked off the team by their white coach. When members of a mostly Black high school football team in Louisiana knelt before a game against a mostly white school, they were met with jeers and racial slurs. And in New Jersey , two referees at a high school football game walked off the field after players knelt, later saying they didn’t like “anyone disrespecting our country, our flag, the armed forces,” according to NBC News . Some schools have banned the protest, but at Capital Christian Academy, Gill and other players are still kneeling. As we reported earlier today, Ryan Edwards is headed back to rehab . If you’ve been following the sad saga of Edwards’ downward spiral, you know that’s undeniably good news. Edwards has been arrested three times in the past 18 months as a result of his addictions, and his erratic behavior has endangered his loved ones on multiple occasions. So it’s encouraging to learn that he’s finally getting serious about getting sober. But the road to recovery is never an easy one, and according to a new report from Radar Online , Edwards will be making a major sacrifice early on in his sobriety journey. Edwards’ wife, Mackenzie Standifer, is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child. (Ryan and Mackenzie each have one child from previous relationships.) Unfortunately, Edwards will be in treatment for the foreseeable future, and one insider tells Radar that Mackenzie is less than one week away from. giving birth. “Mackenzie is expected to be induced on October 8,” says the source . “She is naming her son Jagger Ryan Edwards.” The insider goes on to confirm that Mackenzie has no expectation that Ryan will be present when her son enters the world: “I believe her mom and her aunt will be in the delivery room with her,” the source adds. Not only will Ryan miss the birth of his child, it may be several months before he even meets little Jagger. “[Ryan] isn’t supposed to be out [of rehab] until February or March,” a different insider claims. Meanwhile, it remains unclear if Ryan and Mackenzie are still a couple. One source claims that even before Ryan checked into rehab, he and Mackenzie were no longer living together. “Mackenzie moved out of the lake house they were living in,” the insider says. “[She] is now living with her parents.” Despite that development, Mackenzie recently claimed that she and Ryan are still going strong: “I’m so sorry but I will continue to stand up for what I believe in no matter how chopped, edited, and jumbled it may be,” Standifer wrote in an Instagram post. “I have stuck by my husband through some of the darkest times imaginable,” she added. “Have mistakes been made? Hell yes,” Standifer continued. “Have they been accounted for, dealt with and resolved, yep.” So it sounds like, for the time being at least, Mackenzie is planning to ride this thing out. In December of 2016, former Bridalplasty contestant Lisa Marie Naegle was found brutally murdered . It has been nearly two years, but the murderer has been convicted. He was the last man with whom she was seen alive. People reports that a man named Jackie Jerome Rogers has been found guilty of Lisa Maria Naegle’s appalling murder. The court found that on the night of December 18, 2016, he murdered Naegle in his car. Investigators believe that he killed her by striking her at least eight times with a hammer while the two of them were both in the vehicle. He then buried her body in a shallow grave in his own backyard. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office confirmed the results of Rogers’ trial. Naegle and Rogers had been having an affair at the time. Rogers was 34 and her former student. Just hours before her grisly murder, the two attended a friend’s birthday party at a restaurant in Torrance, California. That, investigators discovered, was the last time that anyone but Rogers saw Naegle alive. On Monday, September 24, Rogers was charged with First-Degree Murder. Though Naegle became famous for her role as a reality star contestant on Bridalplasty, in real life, she had a job. She worked as a nurse. When she did not show up for work the following, that set off alarm bells with her coworkers and family. Friends attempted to file a missing person’s report right away. Unfortunately, they were told that they needed to wait 72 hours before an adult’s absence became an emergency. As we now know, Naegle was already dead at the time. Still, even before the police investigation began, friends and family had a lot of questions for Rogers. He claimed to have left Naegle at the restaurant because he felt tired. That did not add up. Then, video surveillance showed that Naegle had left the restaurant with Rogers. Rogers changed his story, claiming to have dropped off Naegle at a gas station. No one was buying it. Rogers became visibly upset at this point. It can seem cruel that it took nearly two years for Naegle’s murderer to be convicted, but the justice system rarely moves swiftly. Source: Frederick M. Brown / Getty So much for going to trial . Suge Knight took a plea deal today (Sept. 20) in his murder case and will now be serving a 28-year jail sentence. TMZ reports that the former Death Row exec pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter. However, Knight will get credit for time served, knocking down his sentence to about 25 years. By the time he gets out, he will also get an additional 3 years of parole. Suge Knight is 53 years old, putting him at a cool 88 if he sees his sentence through. Knight was facing life in prison for the murder of Terry Carter who he ran over in a hit and run in 2015 while fleeing the Tam’s Burgers parking lot in Compton. — Photo: Getty
