Most people know Rah Digga from her days of being the first lady of Busta Rhymes’s Flip Mode Squad. Recently Rah Digga stopped by the TheUrbandaily.com offices for an interview and revealed that she was originally signed to A Tribe Called Quest and was supposed to be Q-Tip’s artist. “At the time I got with them they were breaking up so I became Q-Tip’s artist,” she explained. “I worked with him for about a year but I don’t think he was in a space to develop a new artist. Tracy Morgan apparently is taking more heat after the release of his homophobic rant last week during a comedy show in Nashville, Tennessee. This time however the heat stems from his “30 Rock” co-stars and executive producer Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey. According to Huffington Post , gay rights activist and executive producer Tina Fey released a somewhat lengthy statement on her views of Morgan’s comments stating: “I hope for his sake that Tracy’s apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian coworkers at “30 Rock,” without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket.” True indeed. Fey also added: “Stand-up comics may have the right to “work out” their material in its ugliest and rawest form in front of an audience, but the violent imagery of Tracy’s rant was disturbing to me at a time when homophobic hate crimes continue to be a life-threatening issue for the GLBT Community. One of Tracy’s openly gay co-stars, Cheyenne Jackson, of “30 Rock,” also shared his distaste in Morgan’s rant stating he was “disgusted and appalled by Morgan.” Tsk, tsk, tsk, Tracy. Only use butter and full fat cheese in small quantities and eat no more than one egg a day. LIMIT Saturated Fats and Most Oils : Limit saturated fats and eliminate all fried foods, foods containing trans fats, lard or the partially hydrogenated oils found in pastries, doughnuts, cakes, cookies, candy, microwave popcorn, French fries and most chocolate. Tracy Morgan has come under severe scrutiny for a stand-up comedic performance last Friday where he openly bashed homosexuals. Kevin Rodgers attended the show where he reported via Facebook: “I figured at some point the gay jokes would fly and I’m well prepared for a good ribbing of straight gay humor. I have very thick skin when it comes to humor; I can dish and I can take. What I can’t take is when Mr. Morgan took it upon himself to mention about how he feels all this gay s*it was crazy and that women are a gift from God and that “Born this Way” is bulls*it, gay is a choice, and the reason he knows this is exactly because “God don’t make no mistakes” (referring to God not making someone gay cause that would be a mistake).” “He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death.” Tracy Morgan sent this apology in to HuffingtonPost.com “I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others.
