It’s here, and it’s everything we would expect it to be. After weeks of hype, teases and buildup, Katy Perry has released her epic music video for “Roar.” Amazingly, she may have met expectations with this fun Tarzan-themed effort. It certainly doesn’t lack for production value, or visual stimulation. “Roar” is undoubtedly the “champion” video she promised. Watch: Katy Perry – Roar (Music Video) Between the beautiful jungle scenery, the cute animals, and Katy Perry’s beautiful and cute jungle attire, well, there’s not a lot to dislike if you heart Katy Perry . Which we do. And we are not afraid to admit this. In a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video, Katy discussed her budding relationship with Ripley, the beloved primate who co-stars in it. “We are just kind of becoming friends,” she said. “I’ve met him along the way … because unfortunately I was in a bit of a plane crash, and my boyfriend got eaten by the tiger, who I’ll have to face off with at the very end.” Foreshadowing for John Mayer ? Demi Lovato: Mum on Wilmer Valderrama, Honored to Play Young Lesbian on Glee

Demi Lovato is not a fan of Twerking . But the young star clearly is a big fan of Wilmer Valderrama, as the off-again/on-again couple was spotted together last month at Disneyworld . Does that means sparks are once again flying? “He is an incredible human being and I am honored to have him in my life,” Lovato told Ryan Seacrest on the radio this morning. “But… I share so much with the world that I like to keep some things private and it’s something I don’t want to talk about.” Well, that’s rather mature of Lovato. And rather un-fun for the rest of us. Fortunately, Demi was glad to dish about her role on Glee Season 5, which will find her portraying an artist in New York who gets involved with Naya Rivera’s Santana . Lovato said she just shot her first episode of the Fox series and it was “awesome.” She also hopes viewers don’t see her role as any kind of attention-grabbing publicity stunt. “I want people to take from it this is actually an incredible step in our generation today where I’m able to play a young lesbian on primetime TV … I’m honored to be able to be hopefully inspiring people with my character to be who they are and not be afraid of it or ashamed.” Of course, prior to appearing on this Fox hit, Demi will appear on another: Season 3 of The X Factor kicks off on September 11.

Kris Humphries Feels Bad for Lamar Odom, Still Hates the Kardashians

As he battles an alleged cocaine addiction , Lamar Odom has a surprising fan in his corner: Kris Humphries. The estranged ex-husband of Kim Kardashian is reportedly away of Odom’s plight and “feels bad for the guy,” an anonymous insider tells Radar Online, adding that Kris somehow thinks “the Kardashian public relations spin machine will have a negative effect [on] Lamar’s NBA career.” Wait… what? Won’t the drugs have a negative effect on Lamar’s NBA career? Humphries allegedly says he was the “victim of countless attacks” by a certain tabloid while married to Kardashian… and this same tabloid is the one that reported Odom as missing when the player’s agent says Khloe was always aware of Lamar’s whereabouts. The implication, we guess, is that the Kardashians are planting rumors about Odom to make him look bad. Although it’s unclear why this would possibly be the case. “There should be a support group for the former husbands and boyfriends of the Kardashians ,” the Radar insider concludes. We agree! Once Kris counts his millions and films the cameo on The Mindy Project that never would have come about if not for his marriage to Kim, we’ll totally break out our violins for the guy.

The wait is over: Jay Z’s “Holy Grail” music video has been released. Check out his epic collaboration with Justin Timberlake below! Jay Z – Holy Grail (Music Video) The first single off H.O.V.A.’s 12th studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail , samples Nirvana’s grunge rock anthem “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” sung by J.T. Timberlake certainly makes his mark, but it’s still Jay’s show. The stop-start nature of the video makes for a bit of a disjointed experience, and there are also moments in which Jay Z’s voice is intentionally slowed down. But that’s precisely the idea of “Holy Grail,” which strives to bring together a set of cinematic images in an artistic display that is nothing short of groundbreaking. Eminem "Berzerk" Single Released: First Listen!

Eminem has released “Berzerk,” the first single from his upcoming album, and promises to “take it back to straight hip-hop / and start it from scratch.” Fittingly, the track is something of an old-school anthem. With a simple beat and gnashing, classic samples (Beastie Boys and Billy Squier’s “The Stroke”), Eminem delivers his lyrics with a familiar flow. The hook? “Life’s too short to not go for broke.” Indeed. “Berzerk” is from Eminem’s upcoming eighth album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 , which drops November 5. Robin Thicke’s “Give it 2 U” music video has been released, and it features some familiar imagery from what viewers witnessed at the MTV VMAs. No, not Miley Cyrus Twerking . But not far off. Robin Thicke – Give It 2 U (Music Video) ft. Kendrick Lamar & 2 Chainz Suddenly, Thicke and Cyrus’ somewhat random duet Sunday night makes a little more sense, given some of the similarities with the video he just dropped. “Give It 2 U,” which features 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, is jam-packed with Twerking, foam fingers, dancers sticking their tongues out … you name it.
