The former Broadway star – best known these days for roles on Smash and Sean Saves the World – married actor Brian Gallagher in Las Vegas yesterday. According to People , the ceremony took place in the Venetian chapel and the bride wore Badgley Mischka dress. “WE DID IT!!! #justmarried,” Gallgher wrote on Instagram soon after the major life event, including with the message this fun photo. “We were so excited to be married that we skipped the engagement altogether!” said Hilty, adding that the couple met at a fitness class when they both were working in New York City. Tan Mom Patricia Krentcil is getting a divorce from her husband Richard, which is sort of amazing for the mere fact that someone is/was married to Tan Mom. We realize he whole reason she’s in the news is because the orange-ish New Jersey mother brought her young daughter into a tanning bed and got arrested. Still, it’s hard to believe that Richard Krentcil stuck it out this long – and it’s Tan Mom who filed the papers to end their eight-year union, no less. Why? Get this. She says Richard failed a lie detector test about infidelity on a TV show called The Test . Of course it revolves around a reality show somehow. On a side note, Tan Mom’s friend Michael Lohan recently learned he is the father of Ashley Horn based on a DNA test revealed on said show. Anyway. Patricia Krentcil demands $500 per week in spousal support plus an additional $500 a week in child support so she can care for the duo’s two children. Tan Mom is also asking for full custody. As for Richard’s take on this? He wants to stay with her , reports say, and hopes they can work out their issues. He may want to rethink that based on some of the things she said about his manhood and their sex life in her recent stand-up gig … which really happened. Michael Jackson’s family is disappointed. What transpired in court Wednesday, when a jury found that AEG Live was not liable for his death, is beyond them. Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Trial Verdict “We think this was a very important case to bring for a lot of reasons,” Kevin Boyle, a lawyer for Katherine Jackson, told reporters after the verdict. “We think what we’ve done with this case is proved some things that are important for the Jackson family, for the concert industry and the sports industry.” “With regard to treatment by doctors,” Boyle said, the family proved its point, however. “We, of course, are not happy with the result as it stands now.” “We will be exploring all options legally and factually,” he added. A jury in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial decided that AEG Live was not responsible for Jackson’s 2009 death of acute propofol intoxication. Despite having hired the man who administered the fatal dose, Dr. Conrad Murray , AEG won and the family’s quest for billions in damages was denied. If the jury had been asked to determine what was “ethical” and what wasn’t when it came to Jackson’s final days, the verdict may have been different. But they weren’t, so the six men and six women who listened to five months of testimony found that the concert promoter was not criminally negligent. “This was a difficult decision for us to make. It wasn’t easy for anyone,” jury foreman Gregg Barden told reporters outside the courthouse after the verdict. “Conrad Murray was hired to be a general practitioner,” he said, explaining the decision. “We thought he was competent to be a general practitioner.” “That doesn’t mean we thought [Murray] was ethical. If the word ‘ethical’ was involved in the question, then there might have been a different outcome.” Juror No. 9, Kevin Smith, said it was evident that AEG, despite having hired Murray to care for Jackson, ” had no idea what was going on behind closed doors.” “If they knew, it would have made a world of difference,” he said. “All along we saw the same pattern, that no one could go upstairs. How could AEG do anything about it if they didn’t know what was going on?” “No one could say no to Michael Jackson or they would have been out.” AEG Live VP Shawn Trell was “very pleased with the result” and attorney Marvin Putnam said they never considered trying to settle out of court. “There was never, ever, ever any chance AEG would ever consider settling this matter because that would have been wrong…No one wins here,” he added. “But the unfortunate tragedy wasn’t of AEG’s making.” Do you agree?
