Source: FayesVision/WENN.com Rumor is Diddy feels betrayed by Cassie after she allegedly cheated on him with her current boy toy Alex Fine . Fine is a personal trainer who was reportedly hired by the music mogul to work with Cassie, but what was supposed to be just a business relationship somehow turned romantic. “Diddy’s trainer, Jamal Liggin, got so busy he hired several trainers as backup, including Alex Fine . Diddy tagged Alex to train Cassie over the last year. As we reported, Diddy and Cassie broke up several months ago after a decade-long relationship, but our sources claim Cassie and Alex hooked up before the split. We’re told what especially galls Diddy … he paid Alex to train his then-girlfriend and feels betrayed,” TMZ states. However, sources reportedly connected to the “Me & U” singer and Fine are insisting their love affair did not start until after Cassie broke things off with Diddy. See a photo of the new couple and let us know how you think their romance started. Photo: WENN
Hot wings are big business in the hood and whether you get em from your neighborhood Chinese spot or right off of Nicki Minaj’s neck (remember that?), everyone appreciates a well done wing. 2 Chainz rams that notion home in his visual for “Hot Wings” where the rapper that tends to rock way more than 2 chains finds himself inside American Deli where two shorties end up scrapping over an order of lemon pepper wings. Truth be told we don’t know what kind of wings they were but only an order of some lemon pepper wet would lead to that kind of hysteria. Top NBA Rookie Marvin Bagley III meanwhile has become the latest player to try his hand at rapping and in his clip to “Look At Me Now” spits a positive message for the young generation wishing on a star. Source: Gallo Images / Getty You’d think after Coachella announced their line-up , people would get excited for the festival and that would be the end of it. However, folks are putting their zoom-in feature to good use with criticism of the festival’s fine print. First, there was a whole Gucci Mane fiasco where instead of printing “Gucci Mane” as a performer, Coachella billed him as “Gucci Gang.” However, Coachella came through with the quick save and later changed their artist site to show Gucci would be performing with Lil Pump and Smokepurpp as the “Gucci Gang.” Nice one Coachella. But this didn’t stop other people from beefing with the music festival…more specifically a not-so-happy music artist. Nigerian afrobeat star Burna Boy couldn’t help but notice that his name was smaller in the billing than say…the headliners of the show. Peep his name below, three rows down from Ariana Grande. pic.twitter.com/v7RmGri9O0 — Coachella (@coachella) January 3, 2019 Burna Boy was so annoyed with his placement that he made a post about it on Insta-stories. “I am an AFRICAN GIANT and will not be reduced to whatever that tiny writing means,” he said. Ironically, the afrobeat artist Mr. Eazi, who’s just as big as Burna Boy, also received the same-sized text and complaints from him were nowhere to be found. The Internet was quick to clown Burna Boy over his print outrage. While afrobeat artists are booming in places like Nigeria and Ghana, they have yet to make a large-scale impact on American audiences. “Burna boy. No notable award to his name.. No Billboard appearance. No BET nomination.. Just one breakthrough year and he gets picked for coachella for the first time in his life and this ni**a thinks he’s Drake,” Twitter user @OlaTheOG said. “You want your name in caps like Ariana that has 141m followers on IG.” Burna boy. You want your name in caps like Ariana that has 141m followers on IG — BREZZIDENT (@OlaTheOG) January 3, 2019 Many people followed up on the Ariana Grande comparison, saying Burna Boy hasn’t reached the same pop status as the “Thank U, Next” singer, so his billing font might be a tad smaller. Someone said Burna boy has more fan base than Ariana Grande Please what's the color of this madness — Trouble Maker (G.O) (@ObongRoviel) January 3, 2019 Then, of course, there were people who were just plain petty… Have you greeted Burna Boy this afternoon?? https://t.co/yssKP4y6az — valking♔ (@_valkiing) January 3, 2019 Lmaoooooo somebody went to clean a whole Ariana Grande's name & Put Burna Boy. No Respect pic.twitter.com/swYdbM4YcT — KinG NomSo (@ani_nomso) January 3, 2019 Eventually, Burna Boy responded to the backlash with another Insta-story post , writing: “AFRICAN creatives going Global. Not the soft, Low self esteem Africans with the slave mentality. I will grant an interview soon to make myself understood. Nothing say comes from any place of ‘pride’ or any sense of ‘entitlement,’ it comes from my Vision of the future of AFRICA not just AFRICAN Music.” What do you think? Should Coachella put more respect on Burna’s name or does Burna’s font outrage still go under the petty files? One thing is for certain. People will be expecting a headline-worthy performance from him come April.
Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty President Obama Just Landed A Spot On The Billboard Charts Barack Obama has just scored a spot on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart. Y’all’s lil president could never. The Hawaii native debuted on this week’s list for his contribution to the new gospel-inspired arrangement of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton hit “One Last Time (44 Remix),” according to Billboard . Obama’s contribution to the song (unfortunately) doesn’t include any singing, but he delivers his rendition of George Washington’s farewell address on the track–which also features original Hamilton cast member Christopher Jackson and gospel star BeBe Winans. The song is a variation on the original song from Hamilton and debuted at No. 22, one slot above the John Legend’s holiday hit, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” Lin-Manuel Miranda released the track on December 20 as his last “Hamildrop” of the 2018, and of course, its title is an obvious nod to Obama being the 44th U.S. president. President Obama’s history with Miranda dates back to 2009, when the he held “An Evening of Poetry, Music & Spoken Word” at the White House. Miranda rapped a song from what he was calling his “Hamilton Mixtape,” and the performance garnered tens of thousands of views online. That event is what helped inspire the full-blown 2016 musical that went on to win the New Yorker’s musical 11 Tony awards, as well as the 2016 Grammy for best musical theater album and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for drama. The entire cast visited the White House in 2016 and Miranda once again returned in 2017 to perform “One Last Time” as a tribute to Obama at the end of his second term.

Source: Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty We enjoyed last season of Love and Hip-Hop Miami so much that Mona Scott-Young and company brought it back for the second time! It’s apropos that tonight’s episode starts with Trina. Her deal is that she is having an extremely hard time getting Trick Daddy to commit to buckling down and finally recording their TNT album, which they’ve been talking about forever. This is definitely going to be the hook of this episode, probably the season. Amara La Negra is back and she blew up since we saw her last season. Now she can take care of her mom the way she always wanted to. Then we meet Jessie Woo, comedian, and host. You may already know her from her poppin’ Instagram. She’s back in Miami after doing some work in New York for BET, and we learn that she’s the product of a strict Haitian family. Her mom, who is a minister, loves her but isn’t really into her career choice. Let’s fast forward a bit. Jessie gathers some women from the cast and their moms for a brunch. We all know what happens at these—all gossip everything. We learn that JoJo is dating Pleasure P. Then Amara La Negra’s name comes up. Apparently, Jessie fired her manager, who was also Amara’s manager, but he was (allegedly) feeding Amara all of Jessie’s ideas hence the firing. Then Jessie accuses Amara of flirting with her man. That’s when Miami Tip pipes up with info she got from Keyara that Amara was (allegedly) all up in Gunplay’s DM’s too. These ladies obviously want to have a chat with Amara. That’s going to be interesting, especially since JoJo makes it clear that she’s going to hip Amara to game since they’re friends. The other ladies do not like that, but it is what it is. Speaking of Keyara, she and Gunplay, who have been on the outs lately, come together to see if they can get right. They cannot. Keyara doesn’t trust Gunplay and it’s as simple as that. She believes that he has been having fun with women in his DM’s. Gunplay denies the latter but he does take ownership of making her feel like she doesn’t matter and agrees to give her space. Finally, we’re back on Trick Daddy and Trina. They’re about to hit the stage for a highly anticipated performance, but before they step out Trina wants to have a little chat with him. Trina tells him that he needs to buckle down so they can get TNT together. Trick gets tight because he wants to get into the studio when he says so. He doesn’t really want to deal with this at the moment, or ever, and says they should just get on stage. So, they perform “Take it to the House” It starts off well, and the audience is feeling it, but Trick pulls a sucka move when he notices that Trina is getting ready to perform her own songs. He cuts her mic off and leaves. That sends Trina flying into a rage. She goes all the way off and has a meltdown backstage because she’s tired of being disrespected by Trick. Obviously, the TNT project is over, at least for now. Ariana Grande made it as clear as possible a few days ago: She was so very ready to be done with 2018 . And now the beloved pop star has made something else as clear as possible: She also may be done with dating. Forever. On Tuesday, the artist came across a fan’s post with the headline: “Who Is Ariana Dating NOW?!” In response to this question, the 25-year-old herself was curious to find out the answer. “Can they tell me too?” she replied to one follower, prior making it adding in no uncertain terms whatsoever: Spoiler: for the rest of this year/probably my life: It’s no one. Please refer back to this tweet for future questions. So there we appear to have it. Sorry, fellas. We doubt Grande is serious about swearing off men forever, but it’s easy to understand where she’s coming from. As loyal celebrity gossip fans likely know very well, this has been a very tumultuous year for the singer on the personal front. Back in September, Grande’s ex-boyfriend of two years, Mac Miller, died of a drug overdose . Not only did Ariana have to deal with the painful personal feelings associated with this loss, she also had to deal with awful Internet trolls actually blaming her for Miller’s death. These insensitive morons tried to argue that Grande ending the couple’s romance drove Miller (a long-time addict) deep into despair — and, consequently, heavy drug use. Grande, as you are also very likely aware, got engaged to Pete Davidson this fall… after mere weeks of dating the comedian. The stars then called off said engagement mere weeks later and spent several days shading each other online. This tragically contributed to Davidson threatening to kill himself and Grande once again needing to turn off her Instagram comments due to all the hate spewed in her direction. So, yeah. We totally get why she isn’t anxious to get out there and mingle with other single people right now. “I want to say that I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life,” Ariana said in December , adding while accepting the Woman of the Year award at Billboard’s Women in Music event: “But as far as my personal life goes. I really have no idea what the f-ck I’m doing… “I just want to say if you’re someone out there who has no idea what this next chapter’s gonna bring, you’re not alone in that.” Amen, Ariana. Thankfully, Grande continues to have the support of her millions of social media followers. This is what she wrote about them on Tuesday: My timeline is beautiful rn. Proud of u all and the human beings you’re growing into. Happy nye! Continue to take care of / celebrate each other the way you always do. Happy to know u thru the internet & have u in my life. Our relationship is real and important to me. Love u.
