Source: ATU Images / Getty Government Withholds 84-Year-Old Woman’s Social Security 84-year-old Mamie Walker depends on her monthly social security check of $1,498 to survive. But for the past two months, the government has sent Mamie nothing but a letter claiming she owes them $224,414.50 in unpaid college debt–but Mamie never even attended college! A letter from the Treasury Department claims she has been referred to them for “collection action.” The letter explains up to 15 percent of each of her checks will be withheld to pay the debt, which was shocking enough, but absolutely no check came at all in February or March. Walker then received another letter stating that she won’t receive another check until September of 2031. “I’ll probably be dead by then,” the 84-year-old said. “I’m so scared. I don’t sleep at night because I’m so scared next week … my lights are going to be off.” Mamie explains that beside not ever going to college, she never learned to read or write at all because she had to go to work as a child to help support her family as a “field hand.” Her son, Morrison Walker, stepped in to help his mother and says she hasn’t been able to pay rent or utilities and is at risk for losing her home. “I work and I try my best to help her with her bills, but now this done happened and I have my own bills, and she don’t have no income and now they’re trying to put eviction on her house, her water bill skyrocketed, her lights are going to get cut off,” Morrison said. He says that he has tried calling social security about the incident multiple times and listened to “hold music” for hours, only to have no one pick up. He went to a local Social Security office and was told by an employee that it sounds like fraud, but no one offered them any help. Now that her story is out for the world to hear, hopefully Mamie Walker will finally get the help she deserves from her social security checks once again

Earlier this week, a post from a Taylor Swift fan account on Instagram took Kanye to task for his “Famous” video. This was the video for West’s single that featured naked wax figures of the rapper and celebrities such as Caitlyn Jenner, Amber Rose, Ray J, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Bill Cosby and Donald Trump. Replying to a Twitter thread asking for “unpopular opinions” of West, one user wrote the following: “The famous music video was straight up revenge porn. “Not to mention putting abuse victims next to their abusers and celebrating sexual assaulters. it was disgusting and he doesn’t get enough crap for it.” Following along so far? Okay… The Instagram account reposting the Twitter exchange added this: “It’s so weird to see how Kanye got away with putting realistic depictions of naked celebrities in his video. “I was reading comments the other day and people said they didn’t like Taylor because she ‘uses songs to humiliate her ex boyfriends.’ “we know that’s not true but isn’t it strange that they don’t apply that same logic to a man putting a naked woman in his music video that’s been viewed millions of times because he just doesn’t like her.” So — the reason why these posts have gone viral is because Swift actually Liked this second one. See here for yourself: “Famous,” of course, is the song that started the whole Kanye-Taylor- Kim Kardashian beef in the first place. West made a reference in it to wanting to sleep with Swift… Swift took exception to it… Kim then released a recording of her husband and Taylor discussing this exact track. The implication at the time? Swift was lying when she pretended to be blindsided by the offensive lyric ( I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous .). Taylor later clarified in her “I would very much like to be removed from this narrative” statement that she specifically never agreed to being called “that bitch” in the song. If you’ve read this far, you clearly know this whole story by now. Just a few days ago, Swift cited this feud in a new interview. She slammed Kim as a bully, saying in detail: “In my experience, I’ve come to see that bullies want to be feared and taken seriously. “A few years ago, someone started an online hate campaign by calling me a snake on the internet. The Atlanta trio has partnered with a Canadian company to roll out a very fresh three-wheeled motorcycle called the Ryker. Page Six reports : Quavo, Offset and Takeoff have teamed up with Can-Am to launch the Canadian company’s three-wheel motorcycle, the 2019 Ryker. “The Ryker is hard, that’s why we’re excited to team up with them,” Quavo said in a press release. “Can’t wait to get one of my own. Skrrt Skrrt!” The “Motorsport” rappers also posted about the trikes on their Instagram, writing, “W E R E A D Y T O R I D E.” The outlet adds that the 2019 Ryker will retail for $8,499. The NYPD says crime boss, Francesco “Frank” Cali was shot six times at his Staten Island residence and allegedly run over by a blue pickup truck fleeing the scene. Cali is the first New York crime family boss shot to death in 34 years. In 1985, then-Gambino boss Paul Castellano was shot dead as he arrived at Sparks Steakhouse in Manhattan — a killing organized by John Gotti, authorities said. Gotti, who then assumed control of the family, reportedly watched the action from nearby with his eventual underboss, Sammy “the Bull” Gravano. Cali had been considered a unifying figure in the years after Gotti’s fall. Gotti was convicted of murder and racketeering in 1992 and sent to prison for life after Gravano ratted him out to authorities. Gotti died in prison in 2002. TMZ has obtained surveillance footage from a store where Michael Jackson allegedly took sex abuse accuser James Safechuck shopping for jewelry back in 1989. Jackson is said to have donned a disguise including a fake mustache, phony teeth, and a wig to shop at a Zales in Simi Valley. Those of you who weren’t born or were too young might not remember, but this lil’ excursion became a big story in the late 80s because security stopped MJ thinking that he was in disguise to rob the store. At the time no one knew that the little boy seen in the video was with Jackson. TMZ has confirmed that the little boy was Safechuck. Obviously, this case will never see a courtroom, but in the court of public opinion this could be very damning to those were on the fence about Jackson’s guilt. In the Leaving Neverland documentary, Safechuck speaks of an “engagement ring” that Jackson bought him. That ring was not purchased during this trip according to TMZ, but the video definitely begs the question “What the HELL was Jackson doing in a jewelry store with a young boy?”.
