Nancy Grace likely jived her way off Dancing With the Stars last night. Already a huge underdog to make it beyond the top five, the pressure started to get to her early on “Are you actually acting tired?” she snapped at Tristan MacManus. “You don’t have twins that get up at 5, you don’t have a full-time job and I do!” MacManus’ reply: “I’m tired of you.” “I’m tired of you, too! So there!” she retorted. They were mostly jokinh, but that still set the tone for their instant jive, which you can see below. Nancy clearly doesn’t have enough left in the tank at this point: Nancy Grace on Dancing With the Stars (Week 8 – Jive) The pair failed to impress the judges, who awarded a mere 20 out of 30 points. There have been worse routines, but that was far below the rest of the Dancing With the Stars scores Monday. Earlier in the night, they earned 24 for their tango. After Monday performances that saw Ricki Lake cement her frontrunner status on Dancing With the Stars , the question was who would join her in the final five. With Lake amassing a huge lead and fan support, J.R. Martinez a virtual lock (no way he’s going home after one off week that wasn’t even that off) and Rob Kardashian looking increasingly strong each week, it came down to these three contestants … Was last night the end of the line for Hope, Nancy, or David? Hope Solo continues to improve, but not fast enough for the judges’ liking (sorry Maks). David Arquette has been good, not great. Nancy Grace? Just bad Monday. So which one of them got the heave-ho? I came here to learn about myself, face my fears, entertain people and give America a chance to get to know me better – and learn to dance!” He gets all 10s from us on that front. Despite wearing a red wig, red eyelashes and a flirty, fringed dress … her jive just didn’t ignite very well at all. “This wasn’t a good dance for you,” judge Len Goodman said, not mincing words as always. “It was a disappointment for me.” She earned 21 points for it, giving her 44 out of 60 for the evening. Amid reports that NBC is trying to secure a book deal for Casey Anthony in exchange for an interview… not a lot of publishers are showing interest in such a deal. The biggest names in publishing want nothing to do with “Tot Mom” (copyright Nancy Grace), with one even calling this hypothetical book deal “blood money.” Check out the statements of three prominent publishing houses: “We are 100% not interested. We are NOT NOT NOT interested. Simon & Schuster is not publishing, and has never intended to publish, any book by Casey Anthony, her family, attorneys or any member of her team.” – Simon & Schuster “We are still planning on publishing the prosecutor’s book who was involved in the Casey Anthony case, so we have no plans in releasing a Casey Anthony book.
