Rumors of Kate Middleton covering Vogue magazine ran rampant last month, but the photo shoot never materialized. Was Queen Elizabeth II responsible for that? Yes and no. The Queen never said anything, but she didn’t have to. Palace insiders say Kate Middleton knows HM would be far from pleased about the Duchess dressing up in haute couture just so Anna Wintour could cash in. “Kate is keenly conscious that while her new grandmother-in-law may not chide her for appearing on a Vogue cover. But she would definitely not be amused,” said a source. “Her Majesty is a genius at making people squirm with simply a look or a ‘tut, tut.’ ” The royal source went on to add that while Kate Middleton and Prince William are free to be interviewed or photographed by whomever they choose, they are trying to downplay the self-promotion of Kate as a fashion or style icon. “They are flattered by the attention but tat’s not what they are about and they take their royal duties far too seriously to, in one sense, trivialize them,” said the insider. Amanda Knox Parents Praised, George and Cindy Anthony Ripped By Jose Baez

The Casey Anthony and Amanda Knox have obvious parallels. Both are attractive white women accused of murder and acquitted after spending years behind bars – in Knox’s case, she was actually convicted first – and who have become national stories (and eviscerated by Nancy Grace ) for better or worse. One area where they differ – to Casey’s detriment, according to her lawyer Jose Baez – is in the parenting department. Amanda alone has that going for her. Baez says he was happy when the Amanda Knox verdict was overturned and she was freed. Having gone through it with Anthony, it brought back memories. “It was a surreal moment … I remembered being in that situation – a young woman’s life hung in the balance, and in a split second, her life was given back to her.” Baez says he felt Amanda’s family played a key role and they should “be applauded” for sticking with their 24-year-old daughter through the entire process. Contrarily, Casey’s parents George and Cindy Anthony did not support her and “hurt her case.” That was even before their shameless Dr. Phil interview , too. In the end, Baez says they’re just a pair of “all-American girls.” A lot of people would likely choose different words, but we suppose that’s true, if only literally. Fetish Site Offers to Buy Nancy Grace Fart Clip from Dancing with the Stars

One of the great things we have learned from the internet is that not only is there a fetish for everything , but there is also a website trying to make money off of every single one of those fetishes. So of course the website clips4sale.com is trying to purchase the rights to a clip from this week’s Dancing with the Stars where someone (not pointing any fingers, NANCY GRACE ) passed gas on the dance floor. Clips4sale.com sent a letter to ABC, claiming that “We wish to acquire this for our members of our website who are “Flatulophiliacs” or simply put, “Fart Fanatics.” The letter goes on to say, “Passing gas is as natural as breathing, and our members are waiting with baited breath.” It’s nice to know even fart fetishists can have a sense of humor about themselves. But seriously, Nancy Grace as the one-handed tango queen of this season’s DWTS ? Can’t say we saw that one coming. Dancing With the Stars Week Three Preview: Who Will Step It Up?

Dancing With the Stars delivered a bit of a surprise last week with the ousting of Elisabetta Canalis after she performed relatively well. It all goes to show: No one is safe. Every week, you dance for your life. So far, Chaz Bono has gotten through on confidence and personality, while Canalis and Metta World Peace are watching this season on the couch. Who will be the third celeb voted off DWTS this fall? So far, J.R. Martinez, Ricki Lake, Chynna Phillips and Kristin Cavallari have looked good. Even Rob Kardashian has stepped up his game in a big way. Carson Kressley and Hope Solo have been entertaining, but could be at risk if they falter. David Arquette? He narrowly avoided elimination last week. It’ll take more than another Nancy Grace nipple slip to carry the news pundit through. Bono’s gonna have to show some real improvement as well. It’s impossible to tell from week to week, but right now, Nancy, Chaz, Hope, Carson and David look to be at greater risk than the other five dancers. What do yo think? Who will win Dancing With the Stars?

Nancy Grace on DWTS Nip Slip: Only Jiggling!

Dancing With the Stars viewers who tuned in last night probably didn’t do so in hopes of seeing a Nancy Grace nipple slip , but that’s reality TV for you. She was clearly spilling out of her dress, although she sought to downplay it today. The 51-year-old told Us Weekly backstage after Monday’s show: “Tonight, when we were doing our hopscotch portion of our dance, there was a little bit of movement but it did not rise to a wardrobe malfunction.” The buxom Casey Anthony hater showed more than she bargained for. As ABC quickly cut away to a static shot of the audience, Grace readjusted her dress and buried her face in partner Tristan MacManus’ shoulder. “On the European version that would be perfectly fine,” host Tom Bergeron joked. “We took every precaution known to man in this dress right here,” Grace said. “I’m talking industrial size precaution.
