Bold Azz Beckies Toss A Drink On Lakers Fans Who Knelt During The Anthem [Video]

A young woman by the name of Savannah Sugg decided to play anthem police at the Lakers game the other night, running up on two black or latino Lakers fans who decided not to stand during the Star Spangled Banner . “Excuse me…this is for the national anthem you pieces of sh*t!” she said, while tossing her drink. No word on if Savannah faced any repercussions for her act at all (we doubt it), but she’s very lucky no one decided to send her tumbling down the concrete stairs after her assault. Tossing a drink is a definite fight igniter…but the two young men were smart not to get physical with her, as we all know who would have faced the consequences there. But in the meantime, the drink tosser and her hypeman camera operator have been identified. Hopefully, someone extends them the same courtesy they showed these young men: Savannah Sugg & Haley Perea. Cal Baptist. If you see this 2 girls, make sure to throw them a drink or whatever you have in your hand. pic.twitter.com/5uo38ymuth — Popeye (@JBurgos117) October 7, 2017 Instagram/YouTube

22nd Anniversary Of Million Man March: ‘Separation Or Death’

More:

O ctober 16, 2017 marks the 22nd anniversary of the Million Man March . The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will deliver a keynote address for the Commemoration and Day of Atonement called “Separation or Death!” the Final Call reports. RELATED:  EXCLUSIVE: Why The Million Man March Was Just As Much For Healing As It Was For Justice “ The Minister will deliver his message October 15 at Symphony Hall in Newark at 1020 Broad Street. Doors open at 12:00 noon ET and the program begins at 2:00 p.m ET,” the news outlet writes. Newark, New Jersey was chosen in part for its concentration of Black residents. Blacks make up 145,085, or 52 percent, of the total  population of 277,140, according to the U.S. Census Bureau . Student Minister Abdul Haqq Muhammad of Mosque No. 25 called Newark a “very Islamic city,” and said that Minister Farrakhan visits the city “quite often.” The first Million Man March found more than a million Black men and boys gathered on the mall of Washington, DC. Minister Farrakhan laid out an eight-step plan for atonement in the Black community, with men shouldering much of the responsibility for the socioeconomic ills faced by Black communities nationwide. According to the Nation of Islam , immediate outcomes of the march included 1.7 million new voter registrations, a surge in adoptions of Black children, and “skyrocketed” memberships in Black organizations such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Newark Minster Haqq Muhammad told Final Call reporters that this year’s message of separation is informed by “police brutality and a obstructions of justice within Black and Brown communities…We can see that the Caucasian in particular has become infuriated with Black people in general.” SOURCE: Final Call SEE ALSO: 6 Black-Owned Bed & Breakfasts That Feel Like Home Teen Developing App To Prevent Police Brutality     [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3205621″ overlay=”true”]

Trump Just Made It So That Your Employer Can Refuse To Pay For Your Birth Control

View post:

Source: TEK IMAGE / Getty Trump just dealt a divisive blow to a Obama era mandate concerning birth control. Now employers will have the right to deny birth control coverage based on religious grounds, prompting criticism for several prominent groups advocating for women’s reproductive rights. The decision, handed down by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services no longer demands the no co-pay requirement instruction for employers. Critics propose that the move could impact millions of women though a study by Health & Human services touts a severely lower number, alleging that only 120,000 women would be affected. The new mandate would allow employers, including nonprofits, private firms and public traded companies, to halt offering contraceptives through health coverage if the employer finds “sincerely held religious or moral objection,” according to CNN ‘s report. A second part of the mandate would allow employers to refuse coverage if they find any moral conviction, not particularly tied to religious beliefs. Several organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Women’s Law Center, the Center for Reproductive Rights spoke out against the administration’s decision.  According to CNN, the ACLU plans to file a suit against the administration on Friday. These groups ascertain that birth control is not only aligned with pregnancy prevention, but also treats hormonal imbalances and severe conditions like endometriosis. More than 55 million women  in the U.S. have birth control with zero co-pay, according to the NWLC. The organization released a study in 2013, reporting that the Obama era mandate saved women $1.4 billion in birth control pill costs. Trump Greets A Devastated Puerto Rico By Practicing His Jump Shot

Follow this link:

Source: JIM WATSON / Getty On Tuesday, Donald Trump finally took a trip to Puerto Rico after the island was devastated by Hurricane Maria leaving millions without power and many without supplies or water. How did 45 decide to greet a small group of Puerto Ricans in need? He gave away paper towels. Oh yea, and he didn’t just hand it to them like a normal human being — he had to show off his jump shot by throwing it to them. You can check out the clip for yourself below. The video of Trump throwing out paper towels in Puerto Rico is even worse than I imagined pic.twitter.com/gBK9MQ0YmE — Roland Scahill (@rolandscahill) October 3, 2017 The shenanigans continue.
