Kim Kardashian Wins! Kris Humphries Booed On Court In First Game Back [VIDEO]

Read the original here:

It seems Kim Kardashian hasn’t lost any fans – despite the backlash she received after her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. The New Jersey Nets player hit the court last night for the first time since the NBA lockout and was repeatedly booed throughout the game – likely by Kim’s supporters. He wasn’t booed because of poor passes or shots, but simply because he touched the ball, the crowd would jeer. Even when on the bench, the crowd chanted “We want Humphries,” in hopes he would return to the court so they could continue their mocking. Though he claims the noise didn’t affect him, the Nets lost 88-82 against the New York Knicks. Does he deserve the harassment? Did Kim Kardashian Go To Haiti To Revamp Her Image? Kris Humphries Re-Signs With New Jersey Nets!

Kris Humphries is a free agent no more … professionally anyway. His old NBA team, the New Jersey Nets, have signed him to a one-year contract reportedly worth $8 million for the coming season, which opens next week. Humphries, who has been training in his native Minnesota, was not offered a new deal to return for a second season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York . See? Not everybody wants to dump Kris Humphries! Kris became an unrestricted free agent after last season, averaging 10 points and 10 rebounds in what was by far the best of his seven seasons as a pro. He quickly went from being involved in the NBA’s Most Improved Player conversation to being involved in the most ridiculous celebrity breakup of all time. The Nets are set to face off against the Knicks in a preseason battle tomorrow night, and sources tell ESPN that Kris Humphries is expected to suit up and play. He is expected to resume his role as New Jersey’s starting power forward and focus on basketball instead of the circus that has become his personal life. There have been concerns that Kris’ return may diminish Brook Lopez’s rebounding production, but the center said he welcomes the return of “the Hump.” Funny, that’s what we say every day at THG. Vanessa Bryant to Receive at Least $75 Million in Divorce From Kobe

Vanessa Bryant is positioned to make out like a bandit in her divorce from Kobe Bryant , in large part due to the couple’s apparent lack of a prenuptial agreement. Coupled with 10 years of marriage, her settlement should be upwards of $75 million – half the L.A. Lakers guard’s fortune – along with support for their daughters. Vanessa Bryant’s mom told the Los Angeles Times that the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement when they wed – entitling Vanessa to half of their assets. Estimates put Kobe Bryant’s net worth at $150 million. The NBA’s highest-paid player, he earned $24.8 million last season, part of an extension worth $83.5 million. Forbes magazine estimates that with endorsement deals, Kobe last year earned $53 million before taxes and agent fees. So basically, Vanessa is sitting pretty. The fact the marriage lasted 10 years also gives Vanessa big advantages under California law, as she is allowed to maintain her standard of living after the split. In the petition filed Friday, Vanessa cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. The couple says the terms have already been settled privately. The NBA star was caught cheating with multiple women by his wife, according to sources, with good old-fashioned gossip among basketball spouses to blame. His latest mistress is rumored to be Jessica Burciaga , but that has not been confirmed. The lesson in all of this? Get a prenup and/or don’t cheat on your wife all the time. [Photo: WENN.com]

Is Khloe Kardashian-Odom Happier With Hubby Lamar In Dallas Than Her Attention-Sloring Family

Has Khloe had enough Kardashian hijinks and shenanigans??? Khloe Kardashian wasn’t phased when her NBA star hubby, Lamar Odom was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, because she is eager to get away from the non-stop Kardashian-Jenner family drama, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. “Khloe is eager to get out of the constant media spotlight that comes with living in Los Angeles. Dallas has welcomed her and Lamar with open arms, and she is embracing this as an adventure,” a source close to the couple tells RadarOnline.com. “Khloe has been telling her closest friends that she is thrilled about the move because she will be getting away from the constant family drama. Kim and Khloe had been feuding up until November, but the two have since made up. However, Khloe is still extremely hurt that Kim called her an evil troll during an episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York.” Lamar and Khloe have been house hunting for new digs in Dallas, but will continue to live in Los Angeles during the off-season. “Khloe will be going back and forth between L.A. and Dallas getting their households coordinated. Khloe will be spending Christmas Day with her hubby in Dallas as his team plays the Miami Heat. Khloe and Lamar have a rock solid marriage, and they spend as much time as possible together, they are very much in love,” the insider says. In the meantime, Khloe has been trying to get pregnant for the past two years with no success, and has begun in vitro fertilization treatment. “Khloe has told Lamar that leading a calmer life in Dallas will help her get and stay pregnant. Khloe loves her family, but there is just always a situation where one family member is mad at another. She is embracing this move in a big way,” the friend dishes. We can’t say we blame her. She’s pregnant and trying to start a family of her own and her Klan is stays doin’ the most… via RadarOnline More On Bossip! More Basketball Wives Beef!!! The Minnesota Timberwolves have been the butt of a lot of jokes over the last few years, but that may soon change. Not because David Kahn is suddenly an even mildly competent president of operations for the team these days, and certainly not because Michael Beasley has pledged to stop doing stupid things. Rather, the team’s newfound potential to impress stems strictly from the unique pieces that they… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Opposing Views Discovery Date : 18/12/2011 04:42 Number of articles : 2

The New York Knicks Scoop Up Veteran Cavs Point Gaurd Baron Davis To Help ‘Melo And ‘Mare

This shortened NBA season looks like it may just be exciting after all… After using the amnesty clause on Chauncey Billups, the Knicks have been hunting a new starting point guard. Mike Bibby recently signed, but that’s not exactly the answer. Baron Davis was amnestied by the Cavs and cleared waivers, opening up the opportunity for him to sign anywhere. And that anywhere has turned out to be the Knicks, according to ESPN.com and confirmed by Ken Berger of CBSSports.com With the Knicks being well over the cap, the deal had to be for the veteran minimum or the “mini mid-level” the Knicks have. According to SI.com, it is indeed for the $2.5 mini mid-level. Which is why this makes a lot of sense for New York. It’s a low risk, potentially high value signing. Davis still has a lot of game left, it just comes down to motivation and health. And with him being in New York playing on a solid Knicks team, you have to think he’s going to be ready. He’s dealing with a back injury though, and could be out up to 8-10 weeks. However, after being amnetied by the Cavs, that timetable miraculously dropped to 4-6. Other teams reportedly going after Davis were the Heat and Lakers, so the Knicks landing their target to likely start once he’s healthy is a big move. Not to say Davis is going to be a star or anything, but considering the options right now for New York, Davis is about as good as they could do in their situation. Bibby is a nice veteran backup, Toney Douglas isn’t a point guard and Iman Shumpert is mostly an unknown. Davis could at least step in and handle the offense. Knicks fans, hate it or love it?!?! Kobe Bryant, Wife Vanessa Bryant to Divorce; NBA Star’s Cheating to Blame

Vanessa Bryant, the wife of NBA star Kobe Bryant, filed for divorce Friday afternoon, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They were married 10 and a half years. Sources say that Vanessa decided to end the marriage because she thinks the Los Angeles Lakers guard has been unfaithful … and not for the first time. As one source close to Vanessa put it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough.” “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.” Vanessa Bryant famously stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 (he was acquitted of all charges). Apparently the cheating didn’t end there, though, and while Kobe “desperately” wants to win her back and will do “whatever it takes” … good luck. Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their two daughters, Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5, but is asking that the basketball superstar get visitation rights There is no prenup, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half the empire built over the last decade by NBA MVP and five-time champion Kobe, 33. She’s also requesting spousal support, which Kobe will pay. The Bryants released a joint statement saying they have “resolved all issues” privately. No word on whether Kobe plans on changing his uniform number yet again or if Vanessa plans on joining the new season of VH1’s Basketball Wives . SIDE NOTE: That $4 million ring Kobe gave Vanessa after the 2003 scandal – later referred to as “the Kobe special” by Tiger Woods – all hers. Gift, babe. [Photos: WENN.com]

Divorces: Vanessa “No Prenup” Bryant Is Finally Over Kobe’s Dirty Dog Ways! She Hit Him With Papers Two Weeks Ago!!!

Kobe done fawked up now! According to TMZ , Vanessa Bryant ‘s days as a faithful, stand-by-your-man type of broad are a wrap! Vanessa Bryant filed legal docs Friday afternoon, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … Vanessa — who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 — decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful … again. As one source puts it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” adding, “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.” And our sources say … Kobe “desperately” wants to win Vanessa back and will do “whatever it takes” to save their 10 1/2 year marriage. According to the legal docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters — 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Giana — but Vanessa is asking that Kobe get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time. We’ve learned the couple has NO PRENUP, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half of the empire Kobe built over the last decade. She’s also requesting spousal support … which is typical in divorce cases. Kobe, who filed his response to the divorce minutes after Vanessa filed her petition, says he will pay her spousal support. According to the docs, Vanessa is being repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser and attorney Samantha Klein. Wasser reps oodles of celebs, including Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Maria Shriver and Kim Kardashian. Kobe went to the Jay-Z concert Tuesday night in L.A. without Vanessa, and people who saw him there say he looked miserable. Vanessa signed the divorce petition on December 1. Kobe signed his response on December 7. These two had everyone so convinced they were happy that they managed to keep this quiet for two weeks? Wonder what pushed Vanessa all the way to the courthouse…

Mark Kuban Welkomes Khloe and Lamar to Dallas; DASH, Rob Kardashian to Follow?

While Kobe Bryant laments the loss of a key Lakers teammate, both Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are being welcomed enthusiastically by members of the Dallas Mavericks organization. First, Mavs coach Rick Carlisle told the press that Khloe was his favorite Kardashian . Now, former Dancing with the Stars contestant/team owner Mark Cuban has come out and told Extra : “She’s welcome with open arms. We can’t wait to have the whole family, can’t wait to have Khloe and Lamar, we’ll go from there.” And it sounds like the team will have more family members to welcome soon. Odom told Us Weekly that Rob Kardashian will soon join him and Khloe in Dallas, while various sources report the Kardashians are psyched about the trade because it allows them to expand their DASH franchise to a new city. We’ll give NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki the final word on the trade for now: “[Odom] can bring the ball up, he can shoot, he can post. He’s a great decision-maker with the ball and one of the best passing big men in the league today. So, we should be able to have fun with each other.”

Fan Helps 76ers on Twitter, Earns Job With Team

Two NBA fans took it upon themselves to help out their favorite team on Twitter last week, only to receive a legally threatening email from the Philadelphia 76ers. By the end of the ordeal, though, the fans ended up with box seats to the Philadelphia 76ers’ home opener, season tickets … and a job with the team for one. How in the world did that happen? The 76ers launched a fan voting contest last week to choose a new team mascot between three finalists. But the team failed to get the nominees on social media. Helpfully, Jerry Rizzo, 23, and friend Hunter Coleman, 22, went ahead and registered Twitter accounts for two finalists, @PhilEMoose and @BFranklinDogg. They began tweeting from the accounts trying to help promote the contest. On Friday, however, they received an official email requesting that they hand over the accounts, “pleasantly without the use of lawyers or anything like that.” Rizzo, a communications graduate and self-described “social media sponge,” gave up the accounts in exchange for box seats and tickets … but it gets better. Saturday, 76ers CEO Adam Aron left Rizzo a voicemail asking Rizzo to call him back. He set up an interview that ultimately led to him being offered a job. In the end, he was rewarded for his entrepreneurial sprit with a full-time social media position with the team – “about as close as it gets” to the perfect gig.
