Anneka Di Lorenzo, Former Centerfold, Washes Up on California Coast, Puzzling Investigators

When the body of Anneka Di Lorenzo washed up by Camp Pendleton, a Marine Corps in Southern California, investigators believed it was someone quite young. Only later were the remains determined to be those of the 58-year-old former model and actress who once aspired to be “the sexiest woman in the world.” Anneka Di Lorenzo, the 1975 Penthouse Pet of the Year, was found earlier this year in a restricted area of the USMC base with her neck and back broken. What investigators are struggling to determine is how. After becoming Pet of the Year, she acted in Caligula and other films. She dated Penthouse publisher Bob Guccione, who she sued for sexual harassment. She became a nursing assistant after her stint in Hollywood, but she had a history of mental health problems, including paranoia, and was on medications. An autopsy found no drugs in her body, however. Born Anneka Vasta, she was found on rocky sand about a mile south of where her car was recovered. Her Madza was parked overlooking a scenic vista, but not one from which she could have jumped to the water beneath. “The unanswered question that we have is how she got from her vehicle to the water,” NCIS agent Rachel McGranaghan tells the San Diego Union-Tribune . “We know her life ended in the water, in some circumstance, we just don’t know how.” On January 2, two days before her body was found, Anneka rented a room at a Motel 6. There’s no evidence she actually used the room, however. Inside her 2001 Mazda 626 sedan were signs of trauma. A woman’s leopard-print blouse and a sports bra, stained with blood, were wrapped in a plastic bag. A steak knife covered with Vasta’s blood lay on the passenger floorboard. There were slashes on Vasta’s wrist, but not deep enough to kill her. Family members say that Di Lorenzo had a daughter in college whom she spoke with every day, and she would not have committed suicide. They speculate someone may have killed her. As Vasta’s sister, Susan Thoreson, tells the Union-Tribune : “I think something happened when Anneka couldn’t maybe fend for herself.”

MC Hammer Launching A “Deep Search” Engine (Giggety, Giggety)

Continue reading here:

MC Hammer , who has done everything from breed horses to manage MMA fighters, made an announcement at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco that he wants to boldly go where no search engine has gone before. WireDoo is the result of two years of research into what Google is supposedly not doing right. Hammer and his team claim that WireDoo is “about relationships beyond just the keywords.”  So when you do your searches for those Amber Rose nude pics (we KNOW you’re doing) it won’t just show you the pics, it’ll show you about Amber Rose’s hairstyle tips, shoe fetishes and other things, but nothing about roses or amber alerts for missing kids. WireDoo is still in development so we have to wait and see if it does what he claims. Exclusive: “Love & Hip-Hop” Adds New “Vixen”, Somaya Reece Gets The Boot, And Show Spin-Off In The Works

Looks like Mashonda won’t be the only replacement on the new season of “Love & Hip-Hop” when it returns next month. Somaya Reece has been kicked off the show and replaced with another “model,” an insider tells BOSSIP exclusively. This is the new girl, Erica Mena: If she looks familiar, it’s because this is the Miami-based model’s second stint on reality TV. She also appeared on “Kourtney And Khloe Take Miami” while working at the Dash store in Miami. Erica is the former girlfriend of Terror Squad affiliate Raul Conde, pictured below with Marlon Wayans. Our insider reveals Erica’s role on the cast is to introduce the possibility of a “Love & Hip-Hop: Miami” spin-off, serving as the bridge between both casts as Gloria Govan did for the “Basketball Wives” shows. “The show’s producers are seriously considering a spin-off,” says our source. “Right now they’re putting feelers out there, seeing who might be interested in joining a Miami cast.” With the addition of Erica and fellow newcomer Teairra Mari, fans can expect several Miami scenes in the new season of the series. But they can also still expect to see Somaya Reece make a couple of appearances. “Somaya did tape some episodes,” says the insider. “I’m not sure at which point she was phased out and how much of her footage will be included, but she left the production team in a lurch. She told them she had a few new ventures in the works, which would have given her a storyline on this new season. But as taping went on, it became obvious that she really didn’t bring anything new to the table other than what she had going on last year, which we all know wasn’t much.” As for Teairra Mari’s role on the show? “She’s basically taking over Mashonda’s role as Emily [Bustamante]‘s new best friend,” the source tells us. “Now that she’s officially single again, Tearria has basically become Emily’s guide to the party life.” That sounds like it will yield plenty of “Reality Rewind” -worthy moments. Continue to check out a few more pics of Erica Mena.

This Trifling Epitome Of A Bad Father Has Only Been Sentenced To One Year For Roasting His Kid In The Oven

Yes you read that right. Fortunately the kid lived, but he did suffer second and third degree burns all over his body cuz this monster thought it was a fitting punishment for a one and a half-year-old child. A California father convicted of holding his son in a hot oven to teach him a lesson was sentenced Friday to one year in jail. Gregory Colver Jr., 21, originally maintained he had been asleep while his 17-month-old child wandered into the kitchen, turned the oven on and climbed inside, hurting himself. The boy suffered second- and third-degree burns that doctors concluded were caused by a “hot, linear object,” District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. However investigators poked deeper into the story when Colver’s account didn’t match up with his girlfriend’s, the child’s mother, who was at work when the incident happened, KGO-TV reported. Colver, arrested on Dec. 30, ended up confessing to police that he had held the child in the oven purposefully to teach him the dangers of a hot oven. His lawyer later said that confession was false and the child’s burns were the result of an accident. Police ultimately determined Colver had been making a pizza in the oven when the child began “banging his hand” against the door, Wagstaffe said, according to the Chronicle. Colver retaliated by holding the boy in the oven, feet first. When he tried to wriggle out of his father’s grasp, he fell onto the hot surface inside and burned his legs. Colver was convicted in July of felony child endangerment and child cruelty. He was given credit for time served on Friday, and will therefore only have to spend roughly two more months in jail. The young father was also sentenced to five years of supervised probation and will have to attend parenting classes and counseling. TWO MONTHS??? This guy must be related to Casey Anthony or something, or her future soulmate because they sound like a perfect match. Eff a jail sentence period, this guy needs to have his sack roasted over the hot fiery pits of hell for eternity. Source

KKK: Authorities Discover Underground White Supremacist Network In San Francisco

“ Racism still exists, they just be concealing it”… in one of the most tolerant cities in the country? Authorities say the number of white supremacist groups in San Francisco is a serious and expanding. Last November, two Mexican nationals were attacked outside a bar in the tTenderloin by a group of white supremacists yelling as they beat one of the men unconscious. Three men were arrested. One of the men, Anthony Weston, testified against the other two. “In exchange for giving us the information about skin heads moving here to San Francisco he was offered a plea bargain,” San Francisco Assistant District Attorney Victor Hwang said. Weston served 10 months in prison. The other two have not been sentenced. But Weston gave investigators information about white supremacist groups in San Francisco. Investigators also found Nazi and white supremacists paraphernalia inside one of the attacker’s apartment. According to San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon, there are three groups operating in the city. “We have probably in excess of 40 to 50 individuals that are documented white supremacists and nearly another 150 or so that are associates that are operating within the city,” Gascon said. The district attorney’s office says they are involved in drug trafficking, identity theft and other crimes. Most of them belonged to a white supremacist group in prison and have moved to San Francisco. Wow, San Fran… Can’t say we’re totally surprised though.

Nicole Scherzinger Solo Album Delayed Again

Killer Love now reportedly slated for December 6 release. By Gil Kaufman Nicole Scherzinger Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage After waiting more than five years for the domestic release of former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger ‘s debut solo effort, surely her fans can hold on for a few more weeks? The long-delayed Killer Love, which dropped in an alternate version in England in March, was slated to finally wash up on American shores on November 15. But according to the Hollywood Reporter, the disc has once again been delayed, pushed back a few weeks until December 6. No reason was given for the latest delay and the singer’s label, Interscope Records, would only say that the new release date would be “early December.” The U.S. version of the Scherzinger disc is slated to feature production by a slew of heavy hitters, including Lady Gaga collaborator RedOne, Jim Jonsin, The-Dream, Harvey Mason Jr. and Tricky Stewart. Sting (“Power’s Out”) and Snoop Dogg (“Peep Show”) are among the reported guests. 50 Cent lends some verses to the first single, “Right There.” A spokesperson for Interscope could not be reached for comment at press time about the release-date change. Scherzinger began work on her solo debut in 2005, only to shelve that album and start over again on the new effort several years later. In the meantime, Scherzinger is busy with her other full-time gig as a judge on Simon Cowell’s “X Factor.” On Thursday night’s baseball-delayed mentors’ home-visit episode , Scherzinger hooked up with Enrique Iglesias to judge the talents of her assigned group of mentees: the over 30s. So far, Scherzinger, who was tapped as the fourth judge after original fourth judge Cheryl Cole was let go early in production, has served as a type of younger doppelg

Occupy Wall Street Cleanup Delayed, What Next?

Young demonstrators in Zuccotti Park tells MTV News they ‘can’t easily be thrown out of this space.’ By Joel Hanek Photo: Mario Tama/ Getty Images NEW YORK — On a damp Friday morning (October 14), thousands of protesters assembled in the city’s Zuccotti Park let out cheers of elation and relief. They had been facing what seemed to be an imminent confrontation with the New York Police Department after Mayor Michael Bloomberg visited the park on Wednesday evening and announced that a crew would move in to clean the area forcing the temporary eviction of demonstrators . While Occupiers were prepared to resist the mandatory evacuation, in the end, the private company that owns the park decided at the 11th hour to postpone any cleaning efforts. MTV News was on site at Occupy Wall Street in the early dawn hours tracking all of the events as they went down. At about 6 a.m. ET on Friday, organizers conducted a special general assembly of the Occupy Wall Street movement, informing the crowd that committed supporters who chose to stay in the park once the cleaners turned up would likely face arrest by the NYPD. But then, with minutes to go before the expected standoff, an organizer reported that were was “breaking news.” She went on to read a statement off of her iPhone , announced to the crowd, “I have an announcement from Brookfield Properties. I’d like to read a brief statement from Deputy Mayor Halloway: ‘Late last night we received notice from the owners of Zuccotti Park, Brookfield Properties, that they are postponing their cleaning.’ ” Supporters erupted into cheers and used designated Occupy sign language to express their approval. Soon, they were chanting “The people united / Will never be defeated.” Aaron Khandros, a student at Connecticut’s Wesleyan University, had traveled to New York City to show his support, knowing well that he might face arrest if he refused to leave the park. “We came out here because we thought that people were going to come out here and try and shut it down, that Bloomberg was using this cleaning thing as an excuse,” he explained. “This seemed like one of our last chances to express our solidarity with this crowd, so we came as quickly as we could.” Emma Francis-Snyder, an organizer with the Occupy Wall Street outreach program, had been on site since 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Exhausted (but also rather thrilled) by the events of the previous 48 hours, she explained how the group had spent an anxious night. “We’ve relocated a bunch of our materials to a storage space because we weren’t sure what was going to happen,” Francis-Snyder said, citing the experiences of Occupy Denver and Occupy Austin, where movements had been shut down under the pretext of sanitation. In a bid to be proactive, the Wall Street occupiers decided to clean the park themselves. “There was a lot of stress throughout the night just trying to clean,” Francis-Snyder said hours before the postponement was announced. “There were people working endlessly, tirelessly, trying to gather all of our belongings; trying to figure out what to do with them, where to go. It is what it is — whatever’s going to happen, is going to happen.” Although they had prepared for the worst, some demonstrators said the final outcome was not unexpected. “I think I was in shock. I wasn’t entirely surprised because if you come out here, there are at least maybe 2,000 people out here, and I think that the Mayor knows that the whole world is watching,” Senia Barragan, an organizer with Occupy Wall Street’s press committee, told MTV News. “And they know that we’re a serious movement that can’t easily be thrown out of this space.
