Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa & More Own The Spotlight At BAPE Heads Show In NYC

Source: Tenzin Sherub / CM Media The energy was high on Thursday night at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The influential Tokyo clothing brand A Bathing Ape (a.k.a. BAPE) celebrated their 25th anniversary with the BAPE HEADS SHOW starring Kid Cudi , Wiz Khalifa ,  Big Sean and more. BAPE has a lengthy history of combining fashion and music with their very first BAPE HEADS SHOW going down in 1997. The brand created the concert series as a way to show love to their fans and the artists who support them. Over the years, everyone from Kanye West to N.E.R.D. has hit the BAPE stage. The show on Thursday, December 6 was the first show to be held in New York City and it was produced by LTB Entertainment Inc. and CM Media. Lil Yachty opened up the show and he definitely set the tone right with his high energy songs. Fans across the Hulu Theater were out of their seats, rocking to bops like “NBAYOUNGBOAT” and his infectious hit with DRAM “Broccoli.”   Pusha T was next in line and he easily pushed through the seven track off his brief, yet undeniable album Daytona. “ Rap album of the year,” he repeated throughout his set. With a recent Best Rap Album Grammy nomination , you can’t call Push a liar. Once Push’s set was done, it was only right that he transitioned by bringing fellow GOOD Music artist Big Sean on the stage for the tracks “Mercy” and the “I Don’t Like” remix. From there, Pusha T left the stage and Big Sean breezed through hits like “Blessings” and “I Don’t Fu** With You.” In between songs, Sean talked about how BAPE helped jump-start his career by booking him for performances and he encouraged people to follow their dreams. After Sean’s inspirational words, it was all about the buzz and the party when Wiz Khalifa came out. Naturally, he encouraged his fans to light up throughout the show as he performed party tracks like “Gin & Drugs.” Then when it came to inspirational songs like “See You Again,” he encouraged his fans to sing along. “Ya sound good,” he said to the crowd as they swayed back and forth. The highlight of the night probably came from the show’s closer Kid Cudi . The 34-year-old hasn’t had an easy time in the spotlight, especially after revealing he suffered from depression back in 2016.  But now, after finding joy through the sadness , Cudi was all smiles as he performed to adoring fans at MSG. This was evident when he closed out with the song “Reborn” from his collaborative album with Kanye West Kids See Ghosts.  Cudi seemed to be a new man as he jumped into the crowd to sign posters and to show his fans love. All of this was the perfect way to celebrate BAPE’s 25th anniversary and the brand isn’t done celebrating. BAPE released a limited edition BAPE HEADS SHOW t-shirt that’s available at their New York and L.A. store, as well as US.BAPE.COM . A second limited-edition t-shirt is set to drop on Saturday, December 8 at the BAPE store in New York, located at 91 Greene Street.

Let It Gooo: 10 Classic Shows We’d Rather See On Netflix Besides Friends

More here:

Source: Jean-Paul Aussenard / Getty The power of the Internet has struck again, and this time, Netflix was it’s victim. False reports have been spreading all month long that the streaming service would be getting rid of Friends as of January 1, 2019. But as we all know, Friends fans will do anything to keep Chandler, Ross, Rachel and the rest of the crew on air as long as humanly possible. According to Entertainment Weekly , “A Change.org petition was even launched begging Netflix to keep the title, calling its removal “unfair, unacceptable and downright inhumane.” Although Netflix had no intention on getting rid of the popular show, they must’ve got wind of the backlash, because the following day it was reported that the streaming service paid $100 million to keep Friends throughout 2019. EW added, “Netflix bought the rights to Friends back in 2014 in a massive deal, shelling out $118 million for the rights for all 10 seasons of the former NBC series. Plus the service digitally remastered every episode for HD streaming. Netflix introduced Friends to a new generation where it became popular all over again as a dose of ’90s nostalgia.” But is it just us, or are there far better shows out there that would probably cost much less than Friends and bring in twice as many viewers? The service has also been criticized for getting rid of content that were predominantly geared toward people of color. @AlsWulf tweeted , “Netflix out here dropping amazing shows that have a positive impact on the minority community like The Get Down due to it being “too expensive”, but drop $100mil on Friends because a certain demographic complained.” @CandaceJeanne also brought up a great point. She wrote, “Dearest @Netflix: Think of all the projects from women, people of color, LGBTQ folks and more that you could fund with that additional $60 million. (I mean, I don’t know how much it costs to make a show but I’m gonna guess it’s at least more than one.)” If Netflix knew what was good for them, they’d listen to millenials and POC — a.k.a. their central audience —about what content folks would like to see on the service. So we put together a list, just in case they need some help. Hit the flip to check it out. And if we missed anything, share your thoughts on Twitter and Facebook.

Source: Vincent Sandoval / Getty Don’t call yourself a Christmas fanatic if you don’t like a good, cheesy, made-for-T.V. holiday flick. We all know that movie. And if someone isn’t finding love by the end of the movie, it’s an automatic failure. Luckily, a bunch (and I mean a bunch ) of holiday flicks are hitting the small screen this year, and don’t worry, if you don’t own a T.V. they’ll probably end up on Hulu or Netflix eventually. They’re filled with all the ingredients that generate Christmas nostalgia. Not to mention, they feature some favorite sitcom stars that inherently know how to get you in your feelings. Madison Beer is an artist…a pop star artist…who climbed out of the depths of Youtube, which if you’ve used google you’ll know is the top 4 results on any google search…because they own Youtube and want to make it bigger than Netflix, even if they are bigger than netflix, the fuckers control the internet and decide what becomes relevant or big, based on their personal vision for themselves as a company, you know to satisfy their shareholders…and can basically troll the fuck out of all of us..and when they do, there are people who benefit…in the early 2000s it was people with websites…because google would run their ads on the sites and wanted to have as much banner inventory as possible for when they went public…which was great for people who were allowed to run google ads, I know many sites that were making over 100k a month off just putting up google ads…no effort at all…then they did the same thing with youtube personalities like Madison Beer, throwing money at her to keep hr producing…and now she’s a starlet who may not be as mainstream as other starlets but who has great tits that have made lots of youtube money and are now ready to make other mainstream money….tits first the way momma taught her cuz perverts live beyond just YOUTUBE…and are everywhere…like here. After letting  Luke Cage go along with  Iron Fist , the streaming service announced late Thursday that they were cancelling  Daredevil , the longest running Marvel series on Netflix. The show had just completed its third season. “Marvel’s  Daredevil  will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” the company said, per Deadline . “We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note. We’re thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years. While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.” With  Daredevil ‘s cancellation, there is only two shows under the Marvel umbrella on Netflix:  The Punisher and  Jessica Jones . There’s no word on whether or not Daredevil will return on Disney’s streaming service when it launches. “Unfortunately, Marvel’s  Luke Cage  will not return for a third season,” Marvel and Netflix said in a statement at the time of the announcement. “Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.” RELATED:  Kingpin Back: Trailer For ‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Drops RELATED:  ‘Luke Cage’ Canceled At Netflix RELATED:  The Marvel Cinematic Universe Remembers Stan Lee: “There Will Never Be Another”

Snooki: Pregnant with Baby #3!

Just last month, Snooki proved she’s a very protective mother . Now, the Jersey Shore veteran has offered up proof that she’s about to become a mother once again. On Thanksgiving Day morning, the long-time reality star informed Instagram followers that she has a very special reason to be thankful this holiday season… … because she and husband Jionni LaValle are expecting their third child together! She confirmed the exciting news via a photo of six-year old son Lorenzo and four-year old daughter Giovanna holding a sonogram, writing as a caption to the very sweet image: “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving.” And here is that image: The revelation shouldn’t come as a major surprise to anyone that has been following Snooki on social media or simply following her life in general. Back in August, the MTV personality told Entertainment Tonight that she and LaValle were “trying,” adding at the time: “I’m practicing now. It’s going good. I’m not pregnant yet but, I mean, we’ve been practicing for a month now so…” Snooki included a second snapshot of her current kids and their impending sibling along with this message: It’s unclear exactly how long Snooki and her man have been trying to add to their brood — but it sounds like the procreation took awhile. But wasn’t altogether terrible, either. “We get our wine, we order pizza and then we go into our spare room,” Snooki previously told Us Weekly of the couple’s monthly date nights, explaining even further: “We stay up till 3 o’clock in the morning just watching Netflix and getting drunk and trying to have a baby.” Snooki and LaValle for married in November of 2014. This past April, the often-drunk Jersey Shore cast member had to tell the same tabloid mentioned above that she’s not getting divorced. “I’m still proudly wearing my ring,” she told Us at the time, adding of her husband: “I love him to death. I think people worry because we never take pictures together and post on Instagram. He hates pictures, he hates this fame life. He likes to be quiet and reserved, which humbles me. “So, I think if I don’t take pictures with him or I don’t share my life with him, people are like, ‘Are you still with your husband?’ I don’t need to share with the world what me and my husband are going through. “We are totally fine. “We don’t post our life on social media, but I love him to death and he’s my best friend and he’s just a little shy so leave him alone.” Well… that’s great for their marriage and family, but less than ideal for a celebrity gossip site such as ours. But whatever. Way to go, guys! We’re so very happy for you!

Steve Carell: Did He Announce a Reboot of The Office on Saturday Night Live?!

It's been over five years since the last episode of The Office aired … You still miss it, don't you? It was just such a fun, funny, delightful little show, and so very many people loved it so very much. And since we're in a time right now when many beloved shows are getting reboots — Roseanne, Murphy Brown, the new Sabrina series on Netflix, just to name a few — fans have been clamoring for a reboot of The Office, too. There have been rumors about this for a while now, and even a few somewhat promising reports. We've heard that a reboot could happen with just a few of the old cast members and some new characters. But, over the years, Steve Carell, the man behind the World's Best Boss, Michael Scott, has maintained that it wouldn't be a great idea. He's also made it pretty clear that if it did happen, he most likely wouldn't be involved. Well, Steve hosted Saturday Night Live last night … and he may have changed his tune! After he kicked off his opening monologue, an audience member interrupted him to ask if he'd ever reboot the show. “No, actually, I don't think so,” he answered. “It was a great experience, I love all those people, but I just don't think it's the best idea, I think maybe we should just leave it alone.” Then Kenan Thompson popped up in the audience to tell him that no, it would be the best idea. “It would be like someone wanted you to reboot Kenan and Kel,” Steve argued. Kenan told him that it “would be an honor” if that happened — so seriously, can that happen? But then Ellie Kemper stood up. Ellie Kemper who played that adorable, goofy receptionist, Erin, in later seasons. “People would really love to see an Office reboot,” she told him. “Especially me. I need that money. Let's get that money, Steve!” He still refused, so she called him a jerk and sat back down. So it was Ed Helms' turn. Ed Helms has gone on to star in tons and tons of movies, but many people still know him as Andy Bernard, that good ol' Cornell graduate who loves singing and has anger management issues. “I just don't think you understand how much money we're talking about,” he said to Steve. “Like, you wouldn't have to do all those sad movies anymore.” (Steve is hosting SNL because he has a new movie, Beautiful Boy, coming out in which he plays a father with a drug addict son.) He explained that he doesn't do those movies for money, and so it was time to pull out the big guns: Jenna Fischer, AKA Pam Beasley-Halpert. “Steve, do you remember the last words Pam secretly whispered to Michael as she left for Denver?” she asked, referencing a fan-favorite moment. When he said he didn't, she told him “She said, 'Steve, don't be a dick, do the reboot.'” Finally, Steve's actual wife and kids urged him to do it … so was what enough?! “Seems like everyone wants this to happen,” Steve said to the audience. “Do you want to see an Office reboot?” Everyone cheered, because honestly, everyone does want to see that. He asked Ellie, Ed, and Jenna to come up on the stage with him, then said “I am proud to announce officially …” “We have a great show tonight!” Yep, he really did play us like that. Obviously there's still no reboot in the works, but hey, maybe this was them sort of testing the waters, trying to see if people would want to watch? We can dream. Nah, My Loves: Mo’Nique Continues To Cape For Racist Roseanne Barr Because She’s Never Said “Kill Black People” [Video]

Fortunata/Splash News/Theo Wargo/Getty Images for NBC Mo’Nique Defends Roseanne Barr From Racist Accusations Yet Again In an interview with the Chicago Tribune , Mo’Nique TRIPLED down on her fervent support of Trump supporter, racist tweeter, and Nazi cookie lover Roseanne Barr. Despite the fact that Roseanne literally never speaks on Mo’Nique or her personal causes in any interview she ever gives, Mo felt it necessary to throw her support and defense behind the disgraced comedienne once again. When talking about her former nightly talk show on BET, Mo’Nique broached the topic of her “sister in comedy” and explained that she could never turn her back on Roseanne, claiming that she didn’t hesitate to appear on the show while many Black entertainers declined because her show was “too black.” And when she showed up, when the cameras weren’t rolling, she said to me: “Listen, you’re the real deal. Don’t let them use you up and take advantage of you, because they will. Don’t you let them do that to you.” Now, a racist woman ain’t gonna say that to me. Q: But her tweets were blatantly racist. A: I’m gonna say this: We’re comedians. And I know her. And what she thought was funny, as a comedian, that’s what it was. The interviewer then challenged her on the way she was quick to chastise Charlamagne for “spreading poison” during her now-infamous Breakfast Club interview …but doesn’t seem to want to condemn something as poisonous as racist ‘jokes’ that fall flat. To this, Mo’Nique responded: A: When we talked privately — and we’ve talked privately a lot — she’ll break her jokes down and I’ll know where they’re coming from. She’s like, “Listen, you know how I grew up, so how could I start making fun of anybody? I’m not trying to hurt anybody.”. Has she ever said, “Kill black people”? Q: I don’t think that’s the line someone has to cross in order for their words to be racist. A: And I can’t argue with what you’re saying — I can’t, baby! But here’s what I know about this woman: She was behind the scenes fighting for the black (concert) promoters. Nobody knows that. She’s behind the scenes trying to push a documentary about Malcolm X with a brother who’s a Muslim. So when I know about this these things personally, did my sista say some things in poor taste? Some people could say yes. But what I won’t label her is a racist. When she sends me a DM that says, “My love, we will rise again like the Phoenix” — a racist woman wouldn’t do that, would she? Hm…we certainly didn’t see Roseanne picking up her sword and shield for Mo’Nique when she was on her “pay me more as a Black female comedian” tour against Netflix …but hey, she’s keeping her same energy in defense of her “sister.” Do you think she has a point? John Stamos Admits: I Nearly Masturbated to Fuller House

John Stamos is finally ready to come clean. About something pretty dirty. The long-time actor was a guest this week on the E! talk show Busy Tonight, sitting down across from host Busy Phillipps and opening up about two things very personal to him: His beloved role as Uncle Jess on Full House and the Netflix revival, Fuller House. Masturbation. Allow Stamos to explain… “This is an absolutely true story, and I’ve been waiting to tell this story,” Stamos told Phillips before delving into a tale about his trip to a fertility clinic when he and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, were trying to start a family. “[We were] trying to get pregnant and we had to do a thing, and we had to go to a fertility place and I had to go give a sperm sample.” In other words: Stamos had to pleasure himself and make sure the results ended up in a cup. Standard stuff in this sort of case. “I went into this little room where they go, ‘Go in there…’ And they said, ‘If you need any stimulation or whatever, there’s videos and there’s a TV here, just turn the thing,’” the star continued, getting to the non-fictional punchline: “I turn the TV on… and it’s on Fuller House. My hand to God.” HA! So, did he do it? Did Stamos do what needed to be done while watching scenes from the comedy on which he plays a major part? Not quite. “I’m like, if I’m going to masturbate to myself, it’s going to be my old self, not the new one,” he joked. Stamos stars in the family-friendly Netflix series as Uncle Jesse. He originally played the role in Full House from 1987 to 1995 — and he's saying here that he was more attractive during the original version. Which is silly, of course. The guy hasn't aged a single second it seems. All quips aside, though, Stamos welcomed his son in April and gushed over the experience to Philipps: “It’s just so beautiful. It’s just the perfect time,” he said. “I’m glad I waited so I could devote my total self to my wife and to my child and forget about myself, because you get tired of your own self after a while, right?”
