Source: Shannon Finney / Getty Mahershala Ali To Play Blade In New Netflix Reboot Blade is back. According to The Hollywood Reporter ,  two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali was introduced at Comic-Con as the lead in the action reboot Saturday night. View this post on Instagram Just announced in Hall H at #SDCC, Marvel Studios’ BLADE with Mahershala Ali. A post shared by Marvel Entertainment (@marvel) on Jul 20, 2019 at 6:43pm PDT Ali made an appearance at the end of the panel to reveal the news that he will be taking the sword from Wesley Snipes, who previously played the Marvel Comics character in three films from 1998 to 2004 and made the film a cult-classic. Ali has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before: as the villainous Cornell Stokes, a.k.a. Cottonmouth, on Netflix’s “Luke Cage” and did a helluva job on HBO’s “True Detective”, so it’s only right that he keeps this hot streak going by reviving a classic and doin it justice.

For The Comic Book Nerds: Marvel Is Auctioning Off Over 800 Props From Their Cancelled Netflix Shows

Source: Derrick Salters/WENN.com / WENN You Can Now Buy Some Props From Your Favorite Marvel Netflix Show A lot of fans were disappointed by the cancellations of numerous Marvel TV shows within the past year or so, but luckily for those same people, this is actually good news for memorabilia collectors. Marvel and Prop Store have teamed up to auction off over 850 authentic props  from the cancelled Netflix shows, which includes items from  Daredevil , Luke Cage , and Iron Fist . The auction includes costumes, set decorations, and props from Marvel’s recently nixed Netflix lineup, according to reports from The New York Post . One of the most expensive items in the catalog is the first iteration of Matt Murdock’s Daredevil costume, which starts at $10,000 and is estimated to bring in a smooth $30,000-$50,000.  Beyond that, the tank where Luke Cage was experimented on starts at $6,000 with estimates a sale between $12,000 and $15,000. But if you’re not looking to drop thousands of dollars on these props, there are plenty of more affordable items including Murdock’s cassette recorder starting at $150 and Elektra Natchios’ robe at $250. While online bidding for these items has already started, prospective buyers can also register for absentee bidding or bid over the phone during the live television auction on August 12-13. Marvel pulled the plug on its Netflix shows last year, which included Daredevil , Luke Cage , Iron Fist , Jessica Jones , and The Punisher . Many fans thought that the cancellation of these shows–or at least some of them–was only temporary so Marvel could take them over to their own upcoming streaming service, but now that they’re selling crucial set items that’s starting to look less likely.

Source: Jason LaVeris / Getty White Chicks was received pretty well commercially upon its release in 2004, it won three awards and was nominated for 13 more– s o why not do a sequel? Fans of t he movie directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans, starring his little brothers, Marlon and Shawn Wayans, will n ow have something to look ‘White Chicks 2’  as confirmed by Terry Crews. The movie, which was about two undercover FBI agents going undercover as white girls to protect them from being kidnapped pulled in a cool $113 million and grossed just over $70 million. One of the more iconic scenes in the movie is when Terry Crews character, Latrell Spencer, takes one of the undercover girls out on a date, Marlon Wayans character, Kevin Copeland, is trying to make this date as unpleasant as possible. On the car ride Kevin turns on a pop station, in an effort to annoy Latrell, well the song that was playing was ‘A Thousand Miles’ by Vanessa Carlton, it created a great scene, and the song became closely tied to the movie. Crews also told  The Talk  on Monday that  White Chicks 2  could see a pop song performance — similar to his iconic rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” — saying, “I think the modern day equivalent to that might be the song by Carly Rae Jepsen ‘Call Me Maybe’.” There have been no further updates, or details about the movie released. But as soon as we get more, we will update. Check out Terry Crews reveal the news bel ow.
