Cougar Town creator Bill Lawrence has a regret or two: “I’d like to [change the title], and the studio has been talking about it,” he tells Hitfix. “It’s tough, man…It’s a great hindsight mistake.” While it would be unusual for a major network show to change its title between seasons without a radical recasting or rejiggering as inspiration, who knows what’s typical anymore in today’s crazy, mixed-up world of television? We put it to you, then: if this Courteney Cox sitcom changes its title, what should they call it?

ESPN to Erin Andrews Stalker: Pay Up You Perv!

Creepy Michael David Barrett stalked Erin Andrews last year. He ended up costing ESPN a lot of money in extra security costs for its employee as a result. Money the network wants back. ESPN wants the perv who shot the peephole video of Erin Andrews nude to cough up more than $300,000 to help pay for the mess he’s caused everyone. Andrews, a sideline reporter for ESPN and current Dancing with the Stars hopeful, received an unrelated round of death threats earlier this year as well. DANCING HEAT : Erin Andrews’ profile has only grown since the incident . According to federal documents filed yesterday in California, the network claims they have to cough up a ton of cash to pay for extra security for Andrews. ESPN also claims they incurred losses “from assisting the government in its investigation” and demands Barrett pay back every cent of the $327,442.27. Michael David Barrett pleaded guilty to one count of being a dirty individual stalking Andrews last year and began serving a 30-month sentence May 3. A hearing on the ESPN matter is set for June 7.

Conan O’Brien Talks Jay Leno On ’60 Minutes’: ‘I Wouldn’t Have Done That’

‘Everyone’s got their own, you know, way of doing things,’ he says during the interview, airing Sunday night. By Eric Ditzian Conan O’Brien Photo: Michael Buckner/ Getty Images We’ve already heard Jay Leno’s side of things when it comes to his late-night feud with Conan O’Brien over the the keys to “The Tonight Show.” Now it’s O’Brien’s turn for a little on-camera venting in an interview with “60 Minutes.” According to excerpts released by CBS News , the comedian is not holding anything back. “He went and took that show back, and I think in a similar situation, if roles had been reversed, I know … I know me, I wouldn’t have done that,” O’Brien said. “If I had surrendered ‘The Tonight Show’ and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well and then … six months later. But that’s me, you know. Everyone’s got their own, you know, way of doing things.” What would O’Brien have done instead? “Done something else, go someplace else,” he said. “I mean, that’s just me.” O’Brien is currently on a 32-city live show sweep across North America with his Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour . In a shocking turn earlier this month, the displaced NBC host inked a deal with TBS to launch a new late-night show on the cable network rather than, as had been widely presumed, a show on Fox. As the NBC brouhaha flared up at the start of the year, O’Brien said he came to realize that his relationship with the network had been irrevocably damaged. “I think this relationship is going be toxic, and maybe we just need to go our separate ways,” he said. “That’s really how it felt to me … and I started to feel that I’m not sure these people even really want me here. … I can’t do it [anymore].” The full “60 Minutes” interview will air Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.
