Farrah Abraham: Was She Really Fired From Teen Mom OG? An Investigation

Earlier this week, we reported that Farrah Abraham has been fired from Teen Mom: OG after seven seasons as one of the stars of MTV's flagship reality series. The mother of one says she was let go as a result of her recent sex work, and indeed, the network was probably less than thrilled with Farrah masturbating on a live stream in front of thousands of viewers. But that was just one of many reasons that the controversial reality-star-tuned-porn-star might have been cut loose by MTV. Check out our full breakdown of the surprisingly complex feud between Mrs. Abraham and the network that made her famous: 1. Farrah Gets Fired On Tuesday, Farrah revealed that she’d been let go by MTV parent company Viacom. She blamed the decision on her recent sex work, writing on Instagram, “I act like an adult and part take in adult promotions and activities that other adults do for FREE or in private.” 2. Farrah’s Sexcapades Last month, Farrah launched a new business: She’s been starring in live-streamed sex shows in which she masturbates for a paying audience. She believes that her latest revenue stream caused her to get fired. 3. Farrah and Sex Work: A Long-Standing Partnership As many have pointed out, Farrah has been cashing in on sex work for several years. In the past, she’s worked as a porn star, a stripper, an erotic novelist, and even the “inspiration” for a line of sex toys. 4. So Why Now? Why would MTV decide to cut ties with one of its most popular stars when Farrah has been performing sex work for almost as long as she’s been famous? 5. There Are Rumors… Many believe that Farrah’s recent foray into the world of live sex streaming is just one of several reasons she got the axe from MTV. 6. That’s Where River Zain Ceballos Comes In River Zain Ceballos is an actor, model and activist who has worked with MTV in the past. He claims to have the low-down on the REAL reason Farrah was let go. Jemele Hill Says That She Deserved EPSN Suspension, But She’ll Never Take Back What She Said [Video]

Rich Polk Getty Images for BET Jemele Hill Isn’t Surprised That ESPN Suspended Her   ESPN host  Jemele Hill stirred controversy after tweeting what everyone already knows about Donald Trump–that he is a white supremacist unfit to serve in the White House. ESPN gave Hill a 2-week paid suspension and received a lot of support standing with her, inspiring people calling and tweeting the network to let ESPN know we #StandWith Jemele. This weekend,  TMZ  caught up with Ms. Hill, and she told the publication that she most definitely “deserved” her two-week suspension from the network for violating social media policy. But not so fast, Hill also said she’ll “never take back what I said.” She’s still a real one, after all.  Jemele spoke with TMZ at the Los Angeles International Airport, “I deserved a suspension. I violated policy…going forward we’ll be in a good, healthy place.” She also added: “I would tell people, absolutely, after my Donald Trump tweets, I deserved that suspension. I deserved it. Like, absolutely. I violated the policy.” Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists. — Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) September 11, 2017 Hill also said she’d only apologize for putting “ESPN in a bad spot,” but you won’t catch her saying sorry for what she said, because she’s still a firm believer in those sentiments. Jemele also expressed the gratitude for all of her supporters during this time and says that her time off was used for reflection. She is returning back to work on Monday.

Say What Now? TV Chef Sunny Anderson Is Under Fire After Saying Harvey Weinstein Accusers Came Forward Too Late

Visit link:

Source: Slaven Vlasic / Getty Sunny Anderson made a huge misstep on Twitter over the weekend after speaking about her own experiences with sexual harassment while simultaneously bashing Harvey Weinstein ‘s accusers . In a series of now deleted tweets, the Food Network host shared that she once reported a former who has sexually harassed her, saying ‘she’ was brave for turning him in while the women who followed suit afterwards were not  ‘brave’ at all. “When I reported my 1st radio boss for sexual harassment, I felt brave,” she wrote late Saturday night. “The 4 co-workers that came out AFTER me were not brave to me…at all.” Sunny went on to judge her fellow victims, writing “In fact I blamed them and still do for not being BRAVE and reporting him before he had a chance to make one more victim.” She then went on to draw a comparison between her former coworkers and Weinstein’s accusers, saying, “So, as all these women come out of the woodwork…ask yourself… were they complicit in their silence? Complicit when taking payoffs?” she asked. “I refuse to call the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 10th person to come out and say, “me too”, BRAVE. We can call them LATE though … or I can.” As if that weren’t enough, Anderson began to place blame on the victims. “Anyone wondering how/why some of these women even stepped in a hotel room???????Anyone? Are people too afraid to ask?” People out here just using the word “brave” like they know what it is. — SunnyAnderson (@SunnyAnderson) October 15, 2017 Obviously, folks took it upon themselves to step into Ms. Anderson’s mentions and issue a quick wake up call: Sis, as someone who long supports your career, everything abt this thread is wrong. It's victim blaming, rape culture-y, and so violent. — Jenn M. Jackson (@JennMJack) October 15, 2017 Sunny Anderson is a great example of how folks move the bar to blame women for powerful abusive men. — Rod (@rodimusprime) October 15, 2017 You aren't better, smarter, braver or stronger than the quiet women. You're luckier. Try not to be arrogant and judgmental about it. — J (@LibertyBelleJ) October 15, 2017 “Quiet women” are women who are abused, scared, threatened with losing their jobs, have lost their jobs, have been murdered. — Sarah (@Telsquire) October 15, 2017 After catching heat for her comments, Anderson quickly backtracked with an apology. I've deleted my obviously polarizing & offensive statement. As a victim & warrior against sexual harassment in the work place, I apologize. — SunnyAnderson (@SunnyAnderson) October 15, 2017 Repeat after me: #thinkbeforeyoutweet IMAGE CREDIT: Getty

Josh & Anna Duggar Celebrate Wedding Aniversary, Get Slammed By Fans

It’s been two years since the world learned that Josh Duggar molested four of his sisters and one other minor. For obvious reasons, the Duggars have been eager to sweep that shocking scandal under the rug, but thankfully, some vigilant former fans aren’t allowing them to do so. In keeping with the promise they made to TLC, the Duggars have not brought Josh on Counting On , the reality series they launched after 19 Kids and Counting was canceled due to advertisers cutting ties with the network in disgust. But the Duggars certainly haven’t given up on helping Josh earn a pardon for his crimes in the court of public opinion. Every time Josh and wife Anna mark a new milestone, the Duggars use it as an opportunity to rebuild Josh’s public image. Earlier this month,  Anna welcomed her fifth child , and the Duggars posted photos of the happy couple all over their social media pages in hopes of garnering a favorable response from fans. The photos were quickly removed after fans expressed their displeasure. But now the Duggars are rallying behind Josh again – and receiving the same predictable results. Jim Bob and Michelle posted the above throwback photo in celebration of Josh and Anna’s ninth wedding anniversary this week. “Happy Anniversary Josh and Anna,” the caption read. “We love you both so much and are so thankful for God’s grace and love in your lives. We pray He will be with you as you follow Him. Love, Mom & Dad PS–We are also thankful for the beautiful legacy of five wonderful grandchildren!!” Needless to say, fans didn’t share those warm feelings: “There is no way I could stay married to this man let alone have more children with him!,” wrote one follower., referencing the recent birth of Josh and Anna’s fifth child. “I live [sic] the Duggar family’s and the shows but it disgusts me to even hear anything about Josh .. to me Anna is staying against her will .. she’s staying because of his and her family’s ..so sad,” she added. “Dudes, again, your son has major issues,” commented another fan. “Parading him and his family in the public eye just makes people feel terrible. It’s too soon. “For the sake of his recovery, his wife and the rest of your family it might be best to keep your love and support private for now. I’m sure they don’t need the inevitable negativity. Their family has suffered enough from being in the public eye.” Some followers were even more blunt, making it clear that their anger toward Josh for his appalling misdeeds will never dissipate: “Ugh he’s such a smug arrogant a–hole. I go back and forth being angry at her and feeling so badly for her,” another wrote. “What a mess. She – and especially their children! – don’t deserve all of this.” We’d say they’ve probably learned their lesson from this incident, but this is the Duggars we’re talking about – they never learn from anything! Christina El Moussa: Will She Marry Again? Will She Procreate Again?!?

Christina El Moussa has sat down for an interview in which she can neither flip nor flop when it comes to providing important answers. First, In Touch Weekly asked the HGTV star whether she could ever see herself walking down an aisle and exchanging vows again. The home-flipping guru split from husband Tarek El Moussa in the spring of 2016 and has since gone on to date a trio of fortunate fellas: Her former contractor, Gary Anderson. NHL player Nate Thompson. And current beau Doug Spedding , a man she has known for over a decade. This latest romance appears to be fairly serious, which prompted the aforementioned tabloid to pose the question: Will she get married for a second time? “I love being married, but it’s not something I want to think about right now,” El Moussa responded simply. Okay. Fair enough. She and Tarek haven’t even been divorced for a year; it makes sense that she can’t even wrap her mind yet around a second marriage. But what about having a third child? The reality star is the mother to a young son named Brayden and a toddler daughter named Taylor and is clearly quite smitten with her kids. She often poses alongside these small people on Instagram, while she and Tarek have constantly said that co-parenting in a healthy environment is their top priority in life. “I have two amazing kids,” Christina told In Touch, yet she then made it clear that this doesn’t mean she’s in the market for any more. “I’m done,” El Moussa added of having children. While Christina and Tarek are no longer a couple, the two have no intentions of stopping their roles as business partners. They’ve actually expanded their quasi empire and will soon work behind the scenes as producers on upcoming HGTV programs. “Working with Tarek comes easy for both of us,” she says, adding: “We have worked together for 12 years and we will continue to work and co-parent together. We have a lot of fun (both on and off camera) flipping houses.” HGTV has cleared Tarek and Christina to continue filming Flop or Flop through the end of 2017 at least. Moreover, the network has given the green light to multiple new versions of the franchise in different cites around the country. Tarek and Christina won’t be involved in these spinoffs, but they will be involved in each other’s lives for a very long time to come. What choice do they have when they have two small kids? “We told Taylor, ‘Mommy and daddy are going to be better parents for you and your brother apart. But we will always be here for you and your brother,'” Christina says of how she broke the divorce news to her daughter, concluding: “And we have made sure to always stay positive in front of the kids.” Amen. Fox News Contributor Claims Host Charles Payne Raped Her And Pressured Her Into An Affair

Fox Business Host Charles Payne Accused Of Sexual Assault Fox Business Host Charles Payne is under fire today as a former Fox contributor is accusing him of sexual assault . 37-year-old Scottie Nell Hughes claims that she was coerced into a two-year extramarital affair with Payne, prompted by a sexual assault he committed inside her hotel room in July 2013. Scottie, who is also married, says the 56-year-old host frequently held the prospect of getting her fired from Fox News over her head to get his way with her. She has accused him of sexual harassment in the past, but a new lawsuit filing on Monday is the first mention of a sexual assault. According to Daily Mail , Hughes claims that the two began working together as contributors on Hannity, but it wasn’t long before Payne sought ways to get closer to her. Payne offered to mentor Hughes in the months afterward, and around July 9, Payne began pressuring her to give him her hotel room number over several hours. She relented and agreed to a private conversation with him that night, the suit claims, but when he came to her room he began to sexually assault her, saying ‘You know you want this.’ ‘You’ve been teasing me since that first time on set, wearing those short dresses over those long legs with your big boobs hanging out,’ he allegedly said. Despite Hughes repeatedly telling Payne ‘no,’ he continued and she stopped fighting back, fearing ‘irreparable physical harm,’ the suit claims. ‘After he raped her, Payne disturbingly announced on his way out, “This changes things.”‘ the suit says. In the years following the incident, Hughes says Payne repeatedly pressured her into an ongoing sexual affair, telling her that she needed a man at Fox News to “got to bat” for her at the network — especially if she wanted to get promoted to a full-time contributor position and get paid for her appearances, rather than commenting for free as she had been doing for years. SMH. We are not ones to victim blame over here by ANY means. But something seems off about being blackmailed into an affair, all to keep what is essentially a volunteer position…doesn’t it? But given how it goes down at that Network …it may not be all that far fetched. WENN/Getty

Fox Sports Host On Jemele Hill: “[I Only Believe In] The First Amendment And Boobs”

CNN/Youtube Clay Travis’ Comments On ESPN’s Decision Not To Fire Jemele Hill Clay Travis of Fox Sports and Outkick the Coverage shocked CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin on Friday after he made a completely unnecessary comment during a segment about ESPN’s current Jemele Hill situation. It all happened while discussing the network’s decision not to fire or suspend “SC6” anchor Jemele Hill for calling our white supremacist “president” a white supremacist. Travis is a very vocal conservative as well as a critic of ESPN–when asked about their decision he said the only things he “completely” believed in were “the First Amendment and boobs.” Just went on @cnn and said I only believe in two things completely, the first amendment and boobs and the host lost it. Need video now. — Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) September 15, 2017 Of course, being a female anchor talking to him, Brooke was especially taken aback. “I just want to make sure I heard you correctly as a woman anchoring this show. What did you just say? You believe in the First Amendment and B-double-O-B-S?” He responded: “Boobs. Two things that have only never let me down in this entire country’s history: the First Amendment and boobs.” Travis was–for some reason–proud of himself for his statement. Somewhat luckily, the comments underneath his tweet patting himself on the back are of a pretty negative.   Are you 12? — Tony Posnanski (@tonyposnanski) September 15, 2017 It’s unclear if the “boobs” comment was complete ignorance while trying to be amusing, or if he added that in because the person utilizing their first amendment rights, Jemele Hill, is a woman. Either way, the comment was about as funny as watching grass grow and wasn’t in good taste for a serious political conversation.
