To put it politely, Troma Studios is divisive. For every dedicated fan out there, there’s a hater who would love nothing more than to see Lloyd Kaufman & Co. fail. Maybe even two. (What side is Skin Central on? We’ll never tell.) But the Troma team doesn’t have time for haters- they’re busy rebooting their cult classic Class of Nuke ‘Em High (1986). They’re casting a new generation of nerds, punks, and meathead jocks to spray with toxic ooze- a recent open casting call for Return to Class of Nuke ‘Em High calls for “Cretins” with ” piercings, tattoos, crazy hairstyles or unique physical attributes ” and, more importantly, these female leads: Lauren (18) pretty, feminine, innocent – some nudity Chrissy (18) attractive, not so innocent – some nudity Innocent or not so innocent, it doesn’t matter. Just detonate those B-52 bombers, ladies!
